Movie Review:

See or Skip:

  1. Vanity, Vanity - all is Vanity!!

And there you have it, the third - and hopefully last - of Luke Perry's dire vanity projects.

While this is simple no-brainer tv fare at its most bland, and follows the tried, tested and well-worn path of its predecessors, it alas, like its predecessors has nothing whatsoever to say, and adds nothing to the genre.
For that one has to raise one's sights to the admirable late Eastwood additons to the Western Genre.

This is tolerable, if utterly predictable tv movie fayre.

Average in direction, and blandly written, none of the cast have the ability to rise above that sorry level.

Despite the high ratings achieved by the first of the loose trilogy, none will live long in the memory.

    2 out of five.

This is decidely NOT a 'wonderful movie'.

  2. I beg to differ with you. While not academy award material, these movies are enjoyable and it is refreshing to watch a movie where you can just watch without worrying about overt sex, brutality and foul language. I hope he DOES make more of them.
