Accidental Friendship

MOVIE REVIEW:

Accidental Friendship: Hallmark Channel Holiday Movie

CAST:

Ben Vereen ... Wes
Chandra Wilson ... Yvonne
Kathleen Munroe ... Tami Baumann
Gabriel Hogan ... Kevin Brawner
Duane Murray ... Officer
Jackie Brown ... Screaming Woman
Jean Yoon ... Lila Jones
Taylor Trowbridge ... Gloria

PLOT:

A homeless woman, Yvonne (Chandra Wilson), is befriended by a police officer in "Accidental Friendship". Ben Vereen portrays Wes, a homeless man.

Based on a true story, a police officer and a homeless woman who share similar emotional pasts and an inability to form lasting relationships slowly form an unlikely bond, and learn to trust one another. Eventually each is able to affect the other’s life for the better.

Movie Review:

This is a serious strory of a homeless woman (Yvonne) and the struggles she endures along life's way.

I don't think this movie will be entertaining to most young viewers, yet the woman (Yvonne) has dogs that are very cute.

Yvonne collapses in one scene, but is found by a police officer and turns out to be okay. It is implied/stated that the Police Officer (Tami) has spent the weekend with her boyfriend.

It is stated later on in the movie that Yvonne's friend, Wes, has passed away. He, too, was homeless.

Yvonne does turn her life around, with help from Tami and others and eventually moves into a home of her own.
