  1. This sounds like the same plot as A Christmas to Remember. Funny.

  3. Wow, another story about writer as heroine again? Surely that's the popular theme this year in Hallmark. From "All For Love", "At Home in mitford", "Love on the shore", and now this. Not that it's a bad thing, since I've enjoyed all those previous ones. Hope this one will be a good one too!

    1. Yes, that seems to be a very popular theme! Perhaps, the screenwriters are writing a little about themselves! :)

  4. As someone who worked as a character in this movie, I can tell you it's a darn good script. I was very moved by it. I'm sure you'll enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed reading & performing it. Happy Holidays!

    1. Thank you, Mark Brandon, for sharing this movie news on "Falling for Vermont!" It looks like such a fun movie from all the video clips and previews Hallmark has shown. I'm so glad to hear how much you were moved by the script, as many of us are looking forward to watching the premiere next week!

By the way, I also love many of your other Hallmark movies, as well, including... "A Wish for Christmas," "Every Christmas Has a Story," "The Birthday Wish," "My Favorite Wedding" and many more!

Thank you so much, Mark, for visiting and sharing details about this new "Fall Harvest" movie! I hope you have a very happy holiday season, as well!!!

      Blessings to you!!! Net

  5. Hmmm. Falling for Vermont? Not really...film was done in British Columbia, Canada. Of course, this was done to pay less for everything as the movie industry does when it gets payback from Canada. This movie should not be called Falling for Vermont but rather Falling for BC. Come on Hallmark Network there are enough wonderful locations to film in my home state of Vermont and you could have helped the local economy. Boo to you during this Halloween season.

    1. Who cares where it was filmed? Lots of movies film in places that are pretending to be other places, and not just Hallmark. Just enjoy the movie.

    2. I can understand the desire to wish a movie was filmed in the location where the movie says it is, especially since it is the title of the movie.

I recall other Hallmark films that weren't actually filmed where the movie's setting is, but they used shots, in between scenes actually taken from the city/state, so... maybe they will do the same for "Falling for Vermont." That would be nice.

    3. Same as Falling for Vermont as Moonlight in Vermont. They're just using green screen where it's filmed.

I don't care where it's filmed just like TV Shows!!!!

  7. I was sure the town square was South Royalton, Vermont. Spent a couple weeks around there. Look it up on SoRo's website and compare.

  8. Oh my goodness!! This was sooooo awesome! I love love LOVE everything about it. Yes, the story line is pretty standard but the writing, actors, and the flow are all so natural. The chemistry is just spot on. It's in the small little things... like the awkward scene in the morning after the 'almost kiss', and the tiny touch of their hands in the ferris wheel. I was moved to tears during the farewell scene. It was so amazing how Emily (the little girl) seemed so strong and sure enough Angela told her to "take care of Dad". I love all the characters. I'm so thankful that the script was so beautifully done! I particularly love that Angela/Elisabeth and Jeff had some time together before the "reveal". I liked that they both were going to blurt it out to each other but Angela said they should just enjoy the moment first. Also impressed at the natural flow of the story.. nothing felt rushed or forced like many other Hallmak movies with similar story line. I know I'll be watching this again! I've been waiting for a long time for a simply well-made Hallmark movie with good script and actors and they deliver this time. Well done Hallmark!

  9. Can anyone tell me anything about the song playing near the end, when Jeff and Angela are enjoying the Fall Fest? The refrain was along the lines of “I want to kiss you again.” I’m wondering if the song is one I can find and purchase somewhere.

    3. I also thought it sounded like Shania Twain, but I think the singer is Cristina Renae.

  10. Why is it that so many of the leading men in Hallmark movies are Canadian??

  11. I tried to like this movie, but I could not take the story seriously (and I am more than willing to suspend my disbelief when it comes to Hallmark movies). I find it very hard to believe that not a single person in the town of Hopedale would have recognized Angela when she’s not only the author of a highly successful and popular book trilogy, but her aforementioned book trilogy was going to be the basis of an upcoming, highly anticipated, blockbuster film. Even Emily (the doctor’s daughter), who was a huge fan of Angela’s book series, didn’t recognize her favorite author. That large aspect of the story took me right out of the film.
