Ooooh.....I love Sam Page! So excited to see him in another Hallmark movie! And with dogs, no less! Can't wait to see the whole Valentine's day lineup!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Net, for posting and keeping us all up to date! Since I discovered this site four months ago, it has been my go-to site. Thanks! :)
IDK why, but the pics don't make it seem like it's one I will watch (no chemistry at all). However, those dogs are so cute!

I really hope you decided to watched this. I thought based on the pictures it probably wasn't going to be one of my favorite movies. The pictures did not do the movie justice. It is a really really good movie. It might have just been better than any of the Winterfest movies but kind of like Birthday Wish to much to say that.
DeleteYes, "Walking the Dog" ended up being a very cute movie! I liked the main characters, but I found myself really enjoying the supporting cast!!! Glad you liked it too, Tabitha!!! :)
DeleteI love this movie and love the cute dog gidget.was wondering if anyone knows what breed gidget is
DeleteBorder Terrier
DeleteReally liked Sam Page in All Things Valentine so excited to see him appear in another Valentine movie.
ReplyDeleteI know! I feel the same way! Sam Page may become a regular Valentine's Day actor. :) I'm also glad All Things Valentine is out on DVD; I watch it over and over. :)
DeleteReally enjoyed this movie!!
ReplyDeleteI really loved this movie. In my opinion, this has been the best movie of 2017 so far. All the winterfest movies were just ok. Love Locks was ok too, but Walking the Dog may become my new fave. Love Jennifer Finnigan since Bold & the Beautiful. And Sam Page is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable town was this filmed in?
ReplyDeleteWhat breed of dog is Gidget?
ReplyDeleteWhat breed is GIDGET, the dog?
ReplyDeleteWhat breed of dog is GIDGET? Am curious:)
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what breed Simon is? Soooooo cute πΆ
DeleteDoes anyone know what breed Simon is? Soooooo cute πΆ
DeleteSimon is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
DeleteThis was a cute movie! That last scene was just the so romantic. Can't beat the beautiful setting! Definitely want to see more of Sam Page. The supporting actress Kimberley Sustad definitely stole the show in some ways.. she was charming, awkward but so cute! She was so great in Nine Lives of christmas.. hoping to see her in more Hallmark movie as a lead!
ReplyDeleteAgree! Love your description just as I felt!
DeleteEnjoyed this with a few reservations.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't too sure that the pairing of Jennifer Finnigan and Sam Page would work but they were good together.
Probably not a description an actor would want but I think Sam Page is sweet in the nicest possible sense of the word!
It was also nice to see sub-plots for two other romances but there was nothing at all going for Kristie and her boyfriend Bill at the start of the movie.
Kimberley Sustad always lights up any movie she's in and she was her usual quirky self but she's changed a lot recently. Had I not known she was in the cast I mightn't have recognised her.
I couldn't understand at the end when Bill said that he had intended for Krisitie to foster Gidget permanently all along - it seemed unnecessarily cruel that he had asked her to bring the dog back to the home as her original carer had returned.
One issue though that I have had with Hallmark recently is a certain lack of friction between the two leads - the greater the hostility at the beginning the more satisfying is the eventual coming together!
In the circumstances I was really expecting more fireworks between Kristie and Keith particularly in the Courtroom but it was abetter than average Hallmark which I'll surely watch again.
I'm also wondering what breed budget is. I found her imdb page but that doesn't have the breed listed either.
ReplyDeleteLoved her red dress! Does anyone know where I can get that exact one?
ReplyDeleteI know! Does anyone know which brand that fabulous red dress is?!!
DeleteWhat breed is gidget? I have a rescue dog that looks just like her and may be the same breed
ReplyDeletenice movie, cuter dogs, one looks like a schnauzer mix? maybe or part jack russel, the dogs should be identified!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the name of the song the girl is singing at the what's the name of the song the girl is singing at the beginning of the association ball? The first line is "There's something I should tell you, it playing on my mind."
ReplyDeleteFor those wondering about the dogs in the movie.I believe that "Gidget" is a Border Terrier and "Simon" is a Duck-tolling Retriever.
ReplyDeleteSimon the dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He wasn't mentioned in the credits. They are great dogs.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where the red dress is from? Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLoved the sweet movie, the dogs were a major part, but Simon wasn't in credits. I appreciate less friction between lead characters, more realistic, softer.
ReplyDeleteI love Hallmark movies and I always have positive remarks...however in this movie Kimberly Sustad should have played opposite of Sam page...Kimberly is a natural on the screen...love to watch her movies and would like to see her play more leads...Kimberly and Paul Campbell are perfect together in movies...Thank you Hallmark for all the wonderful movies...
