Exciting Christmas movie news! Danica McKellar is bringing a little extra heart to Great American Family's 2026 Christmas lineup this year with her second new Christmas movie - The Greatest Christmas Gift!
Great American Media made this announcement today via US Magazine.
Inspired by the classic The Gift of the Magi, this new movie follows music teacher Emma Harper (Danica McKellar) and her fiancé, Caleb Bennett (played by Matthew Marsden), as they prepare for their Christmas wedding. When an unexpected setback threatens their carefully made plans, they and their small-town community discover that the best gifts aren't always the ones wrapped with a bow.
Danica McKellar describes the movie as “sentimental,” “sweet,” and “heartwarming.” One of the things that makes this story a little different is that Emma and Caleb are already together when the movie begins, rather than watching the couple fall in love along the way. Their journey to the altar isn't completely smooth, but there's plenty of hope, faith, selfless love, and Danica promises viewers will still get that warm, fuzzy feeling by the end!
Danica will also star this Christmas opposite Sam Page in the fun romantic comedy The Christmas Yes List. (adapted from the novel by Melissa Ferguson)
And Danica is not alone in starring in two movies for Great American Christmas. Both Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison will have two new Christmas movies for the channel this holiday season!
The Greatest Christmas Gift premieres Sunday, November 29th, on Great American Pure Flix, Great American Family and GFAM+.
