Visit the *Christmas Movie Schedule* for more holiday movies airing throughout January and February, 2026!
Please note: I probably won't send out these Christmas movie reminders every week, but this Friday was extra special as our first of the year - outside of the Christmas movie season.
I will, however, be updating the Christmas Movie Schedule all year long, so if you ever want to see which movies are airing each week, be sure to bookmark that post and check back often!
Let's keep the Christmas spirit alive in our hearts! ❤️

This warms my heart. I'm so happy that these organizations realize that there is a desire in the public for Christmas all through the year.
ReplyDeleteJim, Me too! I keep wondering if anyone will try a Christmas year-round channel, but with the popularity of streaming, that seems unlikely.
DeleteOh well, I'm going to enjoy these Friday nights as much as possible. It's been strange not having Christmas to easily turn the channel to, but so thankful I can choose any movie I've recorded through FrndlyTV.
Happy watching... my Christmas movie friend!!! :)
Hi Net, I was also surprised that they don't have a Christmas year-round channel also so I started looking. I was just able to find a 24/7/365 Christmas live channel on Amazon Prime Video. It is called "Always Christmas". They play the Hallmark, GAF, Lifetime type Christmas movies around the clock all year long. It is one of those Fast live channels. From Amazon Prime Video click on the tab "Live TV" and it is listed in there. If you click on the Movies tab on that page, it shows up at the top. It isn't an On Demand deal. You just play the channel and Christmas movies will play all year long. I don't believe that you need a Prime membership to watch it either. I think you only need an Amazon account to sign into.
DeleteAlso, in looking, I found a free app called "Christmas Plus". You can download the app on various streaming devices like Roku and smart tv's. It has a ton of Christmas movies that you can watch for free.
Also Net, yes, it is very STRANGE turning on the tv now and not having those channels playing Christmas movies around the clock. That was always my go to for looking when I turned on the tv. Now, it is like...what do I do now? lol...I don't know what to do with my remote haha.
DeleteWould there be enough demand for it ? - I really don't see it. Certainly not for me but fair enough if the demand was there.
DeleteIt takes me months to get through the previous Christmas movies as it is although this year should be better because there were a good lot fewer than previously!
The number at Christmas 2025 was pretty good - perhaps just a few less in future.
I think there is room for a Christmas in July Season of 2 weeks with perhaps 2 new Christmas movies - it disappointed me there were none last year. - Florence
I tried to send this a while back, but I guess the Spam folder gobbled it up haha. For anyone that might be interested, there is a channel on Prime Video called "Always Christmas". It is a 24 hour all year Christmas movie channel. They are Christmas movies like you would see on GAF and Hallmark and Lifetime. Once you open Prime Video from one of your devices, click on the "Live TV" tab and the "Always Christmas" channel will be in that list. If you click on the Movies tab within that area the "Always Christmas" channel will be near the top. You shouldn't need a Prime membership, only an Amazon free account to watch it. It is not On-Demand. It is like watching it on TV.
DeleteJim, I found your comments and resubmitted them!!!!!! I just know I approved them before. Uggghhh....technology, sometimes.
DeleteAnyway, thank you for all of the wonderful Christmas info. I have heard of the Christmas Plus app you mentioned in your comment above. I've watched various Christmas movies through it.
But I am new to the "Always Christmas" channel!!! I just checked it out! It looks great! I'll definitely keep it in mind - when searching for something to watch. I have the Prime Video app on my Roku - so it's easy to watch through that! Thank you so much for sharing...... again!!! :)
This is the most recent update for my mother in law Beverly. She was suppose to come home on Monday but something went wrong with her kidneys. They know it was one of her medications. And it being corrected. Please pray for God to encourage her heart. She wasn’t very happy with this news. She really wants to go home.
