Is there a new sheriff in town? Or an outlaw?
As if the cast of When Hope Calls Season 2 wasn't impressive enough, with Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, Nick Bateman, Trevor Donovan, Wendy Crewson, Hanneke Talbot, Morgan Kohan, and Ryan-James (RJ) Hatanaka, today we learned that two more Great American Family stars have joined the all-star cast!
Before I make the reveal, When Hope Calls is currently expected to premiere in January of 2025 on Great American Family. An actual premiere date has not been given.
So, who has joined the cast?
It's Jesse Hutch, star of Christmas Under the Northern Lights, A Little Women's Christmas, A Christmas Blessing, and more!
Jesse shared the image above on Instagram with the caption:
NEW CHARACTER coming at you in the new year. For some real fun swipe to the end. This cast and this team is awesome. Get excited. #actor #jessehutch #whenhopecalls
Another picture that Jesse shared (see above) revealed another Great American Family star... Sarah Fisher, of A Harvest Homecoming and Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.
It should be fun to learn who Jesse and Sarah's characters will be in the series. Are they, perhaps, a couple?
Aw, how sweet! -Maria
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to watch When Hope calls. I do not care for WCTH but this cast has me very interested. WCTH has a great storyline, well at least had, and I love stories of the early 1900's similar to the Love Comes Softly series (btw, does anyone play those movies anymore?).
ReplyDeleteThis cast looks so good and being on GAF, I think I am going to watch it.

I think Jesse & Sarah could portrayed as Sheriff & Schoolteacher - there’s no schoolhouse in Brookfield since When Hope Calls: Season 1
ReplyDeleteJesse Hutch portrayed as town’s sheriff in Brookfield
Sarah Fisher portrayed as schoolteacher, Sheriff’s Wife in Brookfield
I never liked When Calls The Heart. I watched the two Christmas episodes that aired in Great American Family the first year. And have been waiting for more of this series.
ReplyDeleteExciting!
ReplyDeleteThat was going to be my guess!! He’ll be a great addition!
ReplyDeleteI’ll be watching WCTH! It’s always been my favorite and it always will. The 1st season of WHC wasn’t that great to me, but it’s WCTH related so I’ll watch it if it’s available on YouTube. Maybe it’ll be on Prime like last year!
I’m getting so excited for When Hope Calls! I needed a good replacement for WCTH. Not dredging up the past but I lost my love for the show when Elizabeth turned into an unrecognizable character. I stuck around for season 11 to see if they could keep me involved by giving Lucas a compelling storyline independent of Elizabeth. Well, it was a season of doom and gloom and heartbreak for him so I’m out. When Hope Calls will fill in that void, I’m hoping. Clean, positive, uplifting content is what I’m looking for and WCTH no longer provides it.
