Praying for Peace...

Today, I am praying earnestly for our Country, President Donald J. Trump, the family and friends of the rally attendee, Corey Comperatore, whose life was lost, those in critical condition, and those who were injured physically and emotionally from this evil attack.

I believe Divine Intervention from our Heavenly Father and Angel Armies protected President Trump yesterday, July 13, 2024, from an attempted assassination. God's protective hand was upon him for a greater purpose.

While watching the rally live yesterday on TV with my family, I was in complete shock when I heard the pops of gunfire. I jumped up from my seat to get a closer look as President Trump ducked for cover as bullets flew by. As we waited to see if he was okay, the seconds felt like an eternity, and my family and I prayed he would be safe.

This is a defining moment in time, in history, that none of us will ever forget.

President Trump released a statement this morning, profoundly expressing that "it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening." He concluded by saying we must stay strong and not let evil win.

President Donald J. Trump's full statement - Sunday, July 14, 2024:

“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed. In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win. I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin.”

God bless you all! I, too, believe that evil will NOT be triumphant in the end.

May God Bless America,
Net

  2. I was also watching the rally yesterday when this happened. It’s hard to believe such evil exists, but I also believe God intervened and saved President Trump.

  3. Thank you for sharing this recent statement. I’m glad to see Trump rightly giving credit to God here. He must know how close he came to personally meeting him. But I seriously don’t think God’s finished with him down here yet. He’s got to “Make America Great Again”! Robert

  4. Oh, Net! I TOTALLY agree with every single thing you said! I praise God from the depths of my soul for prompting President Trump to turn his head slightly right before that bullet hit. Oh, what a clear demonstration of God's mercies and such clear proof that God's hand and anointing is on President Trump. I am so thankful that my family and I were not watching because I would have been utterly sick during those seconds of waiting. I cried when I saw the email in my inbox and saw the blood on his face and it looked like he was in pain. Immediately, my family and I stopped everything we were doing and had prayer and praised God for sparing his life. I appreciate your post, giving God the glory and honoring President Trump. Our fervent prayers in the 33 day prayer challenge of 2020 are still being answered, all glory to God. I know God's faithfulness will continue to be demonstrated. Praise His holy name.

  6. I was on Twitter awaiting the live Tweets from the NCIS Origins TCA panel when it happened, I have literally never seen my TL blow up so fast in short of a time!

I'm not entirely surprised at this, given the vitriol spewed everywhere since 2016, but I'm still sad that this even happened in the first place. Like, how is this even okay?! How can anyone want something like this to happen here?!

I pray that we get back on right course this November. -Maria

  7. Thank you for posting this, I too was watching it live, on Newsmax and you didn't know if President Trump survived or not.

This will go down as one of darkest times in America's history and the media played a big role in what took place. When the media continues to call President Trump, Hitler or the Devil of course you will have someone who believes President Trump needs to die.

I am thankful he survived and I'm saddened by the loss of life of the Trump supporter.

May we all continue to pray for the loss of life, our country and President Trump's life.

Thankfully Christ Jesus saved President Trump and may his hand continue to be on him, his family and America.

  10. Net, thank you! Thank God President Trump is okay. The scripture you chose speaks of where we are today. This is a spiritual battle. We are at war against the darkness.

On July 7th, there was a night of prayer for President Trump, his family, and the nation. His son, Eric, had requested this night of prayer. There were many preachers, teachers, and evangelists who gathered for prayer. God was with President Trump! I believe President Trump is anointed by God to help save our nation. God wins!

    God bless America!

  12. Amen Net! And amen to everything President Trump stated. Such a sad event that took the life of a man, all from hatred…praying for our nation. Regardless of what our political status is, violence is never the answer. I may not agree with everything President Trump does and says but I am so happy that he is not afraid to speak about God. We need more of that in our leaders.

  14. So sad for those families of the bystanders. Prayers for them as well! Thank God Trump turned his head when he did, otherwise this would be a completely different story. I pray nothing else like this happens again.-Anonymous1

  15. I heard about it today from our pastor at evening service. My heart goes out to the family of the man who died. My pastor said he died a hero saving his daughter and wife. How sad for them. They are in my prayers.

Thankful Donald Trump survived. I pray the Lord will use this for good, and if it's His will, to bless our country with godly leaders.

  16. Thank you, Net, for so beautifully expressing the same sentiments I feel. I truly believe God and his angels saved the life of President Trump because God loves what this country stands for and longs for us to be a nation that believes in Him. It's clear to me that the division our country is experiencing is no longer about politics, but clearly a battle between good and evil. Let's pray for President Trump, his re-election, and for making this country a God-fearing nation once more. God bless America.

  18. God Bless Trump, all that were involved and America, All of us need to remember be thankful everyday for what God has planned for us. I had family & friends that were in attendance at that Rally. I know my heart skipped a beat when all of this was happening. I have read over and over in the last few days comments referring the ugly politics and hate that have been occurring in this country (and world), most just want everyone to remember we are all Human and NOBODY's life is worth the negative rhetoric that goes on everyday.

  19. Amen, Net! Well said! President Trump's rallies are usually so encouraging and fun to watch but, ugh, this one just hit the gut!! And, yet.... perhaps, ultimately, this one might be the most encouraging one, to date?!!
Perhaps this will also wake up the huge number of Christian's in America, whom God has blessed to live here and, yet, they don't think they should "dirty" themselves and vote to preserve the freedoms of this incredible nation He has given us!!
