MOVIE REMINDER: "A Taste of Love" Premieres Tonight on Presidents' Day - SEE HERE:

Step into the kitchen tonight with Erin Cahill (A Timeless Christmas, Love Stories in Sunflower Valley, The Secret Ingredient, etc.) as she stars in the Hallmark Channel special President's Day movie premiere - "A Taste of Love."

Synopsis via Hallmark: Struggling to find her culinary voice, pigeonholed Culinary Network TV star, Taylor Green (Cahill), is stuck in a rut as a cheesy cook on a show called “Quick, Easy and Delicious.” After presenting a new show which is rejected by the network, she decides to return home, to sort out her future before making any permanent career decisions. Upon returning home, she runs into her childhood sweetheart, Jacob (Kove), and tensions begin building again over their long-ago breakup. Her attention is quickly turned to the discovery that their family restaurant that provided so many loving memories of her grandmother is up for sale. Determined to prevent the sale, Taylor devises a plan to rekindle her father’s passion for cooking by entering them in the town’s annual Sugar Festival cooking competition. While rediscovering her passion for food, Taylor is forced to choose between her budding relationship with Jacob, saving the family’s restaurant, and her dream career.

The movie also stars Jesse Kove, Martin Kove, Susan Gallagher, Tymberlee Hill, Sasha Andreev and more!

Extra info: Jesse Kove is the son of Actor Martin Kove, who is well-known from the 1984 film, Karate Kid.

  1. This movie looks so cute! I will definitely be tuning in tonight. It’s reminding me a little of “A Season for Love” with Autumn Reeser, which I love!

  3. This is an acquired movie not an original hallmark movie. The movie was filmed in July of 2021 in Dunedin Florida and surrounding communities. Erin posted pictures on Instagram during filming.

  4. This one looks so good, but I'm trying really hard to loose right now. My blood pressure was high. Can't afford any yummy temptations. ;)

  5. This is not on subject but really disappointed in Hudson and Rex. Could be a good show without the Wokeness. Not what I would consider Family Friendly. Especially after the last episode. Just my opinion.

    1. Season five I believe is the first season after Paul Pope died and someone else took over producing and it got very woke. However season six was pretty decent and season 7 is just beginning. Hoping they keep it woke free like the first 4 seasons (although there is mention of the police chiefs daughter being gay in either season 1 or 2). I don't recall anything woke in season 6. It is too bad UPTV started the US with season 5. The worst season of this series!!

    2. JoCo, I've been interested in this show for awhile, but haven't watched, yet. Could you give some detail on what was in the last Hudson and Rex episode you watched.

      Thanks so much! Blessings, Net

    3. Unless I misread the show so far, Hudson is living together with his girlfriend. Also the commanders daughter’s girlfriend is revealed after she comes upon a murder. As I mentioned, I may be reading these things wrong, and I’ll stand corrected if I am. I think someone else mentioned that this season may be the worst.

  11. Review: A Taste of Love -
Family-friendly? No, an incidental gay (male) couple -
    Recommended? No -

This movie just plodded along for me. I didn't sense any chemistry between the leads, the ending romance seemed rushed, and the plot was just very cookie-cutter and boring. And they easily could have left out the gay couple whose screen time was maybe a couple of minutes! Skip this one!

    1. Mark 25 - Thank you so much for sharing this review for "A Taste of Love." Bummer. I really didn't see this one coming, but should have I guess since they haven't aired one for awhile and they probably need to fulfill some sort of quota on this kind of content.

Anyway, it's also nice to know the rest of the story didn't capture you either.

      Thank you! Blessings, Net

    2. Abigail, Thank you for sharing this update. I keep praying for that precious baby, Gus. He is such a little doll. I've been following their story on X (Twitter), as well. That sweet baby has been through so much.

The last update on X is from Tuesday, the 20th. Have you seen any more recent updates. I keep hoping we will hear something soon and all is well.

      God bless, Net

    3. That was the most recent Facebook update. I don't have a Twitter account sorry, I wouldn't know the updates on it. I am anxious for happy news too Net! Praise God that they are strong in their faith!!!

Thank you Joan, I've never met the family (they go to our Sister Church in Louisville. My church has been praying for them.)

    4. Abigail, I was just hoping you might have heard or seen something different on Facebook, or perhaps, heard something through your church. Still no update this morning on Twitter since Tuesday, the 20th. Just going to keep on praying fervently for that precious baby. I know the family is exhausted, as well, and I'm hoping that's why we haven't received any updates lately.

    5. Ahh.. gotcha.... no unfortunately, I checked the Facebook just now and nothing new. I was glad to see they are able to hold him now, I'm guessing a little at a time. That must be encouraging to them. Tomorrow's Sunday, so maybe someone will mention it during prayer and praise time in our night service.

He looks so cure with those socks!!!😊
