Dear Friends, What a week this has been into the New Year. Our country has experienced so much in just a few short days. Where do we go from here in these uncertain, confusing times?
All I can say is, I don't know what tomorrow holds, but as the old precious hymn says, "Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand, but I know Who holds tomorrow and I know Who holds my hand." I pray we all seek and look to The Lord to see us through each and every day in 2021.
"A New Year’s Resolution" is the first movie premiering this weekend. Have you made any resolutions this year? My goal is to spend even more time on important things - such as: more time in Bible study and fun time with my family, and maybe, a little less screen time. (Which is rather hard since I blog about movies! But... everything in moderation, right? *sigh*) Please share your resolutions in comments below and see details on the movies premiering this weekend in this post...

Sunday, January 10, 2021:
Storyline via UP: A talented host and designer of a high-end renovation television show is forced to change her show format to include life makeovers as well after her ratings dip. However, when she tries to upscale the handsome and down-to-Earth subject of her first episode, she must choose between chasing ratings or following her heart. (see more - here)
Please Note: I have not pre-screened these new movies. If you happen to catch one of them and would like to share if they are family friendly, please leave a comment. Thank you!
So glad the New Year's movie is airing.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Denise! We finally get to see it!
DeleteVery nice and everyone should think of being a bit more considerate and kind and try to forget all the politicians. Thank you, Net, and Bless you and all who contribute even a little bit to making the world a better place. Happy New Year! Ken
ReplyDeleteKen, Spreading kindness is always a wonderful idea. I know how you feel, because I too feel the same way about many of our lifetime politicians. When I'm discouraged, I feel that's God calling me to pray even harder. That's not always easy, but it does give my heart peace.
DeleteBlessings to you & Happy New Year, Net
Net, after yesterday, I feel we need Christmas over again. My heart is so broken for President Trump and for this nation. The direction we are headed is horrible for Christians. I will continue to pray, keep believing, and trusting the Lord. God never changes! His word will stand forever.
ReplyDeleteMy goals for the New Year are to love more, judge less, and pray more; to always trust in God's promises, because he always keeps his promises. I know the end of the story; we win!
kitkat, I absolutely feel your heart and I echo your sentiments. This world has definitely become an increasingly scary place, especially for Christians. I knew you would be praying along with me.
Delete"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come." Hebrews 13:14 (NLT)
Your goals are all so wonderful - they inspire me, too! We're in this together... God bless you, my friend!
I might buy a New Year's Resolution when it comes out on DVD. Let's see how that movie is when I see that on Saturday.

ReplyDeleteI totally forgot to add Hallmark Hall of Fame since last year had no HHoF movies are part of missing year 2020
Hallmark Hall of Fame needs 4 new movies
What do you think of Christmas in July?
ReplyDeleteI love love love Christmas in July!!! Course the real meaning of Christmas should never be over-shadowed, but I love the celebration of Christmas year round.
DeleteIf only we could have Christmas in January, February, March, etc.. Just kidding... I know it's not realistic and it would not be as meaningful if it was year round.
A New Year’s Resolution was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! I definitely will be adding this movie to my DVD collection.
ReplyDeleteThe entire cast and crew, EXCELLENT WORK!!!
So glad you loved it! I added your review - here!
DeleteThank you so much for sharing!
What is your favorite Cindy Busby movies that you have seen? Mine is A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love.
ReplyDeleteLove that movie, too, Chris! I shared my favorites - *HERE*.
DeleteI know it wasn't universally popular but there was something about last year's Romance In The Air which really appealed to me and we have already re-watched it several times - it was a gentle, heartwarmimg family friendly movie.
DeleteI really liked Torrance Coombs too.
One Winter Wedding will be filming last week of Jan - Feb for 3 weeks
ReplyDeleteNext One Winter Movies
One Winter Honeymoon
One Winter Baby
I really loved One Winter Weekend and the sequel was okay but really a 2 minute epilogue at the end of the first movie could have could have had the same effect.
DeleteMuch as I like both Taylor Cole and Jack Turner I really don't see the value in another instalment - the ending of the first movie was fine in itself.
With "winter" in the title I can't see this airing before January 2022
One Winter Wedding will be filming on February 1, 2021
DeleteI didn't watch this one. I saw a snippet and it just didn't grab me. Michael seemed great though. Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?
ReplyDeleteI watched some of the Blueprint one, but really just had it on as background noise. It seemed ok, but not something I would watch again.
Misty
Misty, I recorded both, but haven't watched, yet. I would also love to know what others thought of the movie. I sure hope "A New Year's Resolution" is family friendly.
DeleteA New Year’s Resloution is family friendy
DeleteBlueprint to the Heart on DVR I have to watch other movies
What’s happen to H&F this morning they air Ring by Spring after Golden Girls
DeleteI watched New one on Momday & Tuesday but they replayed on Wed to Fri
They gonna air H&F on Wed-Fri?
I loved "A New Year's Resolution". Michael Rady made that movie perfect! Michael is a great actor. He enjoys his work!
DeleteWatched "Blueprint To The Heart" on UP and really liked it too. The story line was different.
Anonymous, Currently Home & Family is not airing due to the new corona virus lockdown orders in California. The hosts and crew are not allowed to work together on set. Previously, they had been taking very careful measures and they all seemed to be doing well with it, so it's unfortunate guidelines had to change. This is terribly difficult for a lot of businesses, especially the small ones.
Deletekitkat, Thank you so much for sharing your review of "A New Year's Resolution." I'm so happy to know it is a good one and family-friendly. It's pretty sad we have to wonder each time. Anyway, since "A Joyous Christmas" and "Two Turtle Doves," Michael Rady has become one of my favorites! Now I'm really looking forward to finally seeing this one! :)
DeleteBy the way, I added your review to the New January Hallmark Movies - here.
Anonymous, I so appreciate you sharing that "A New Year's Resolution" is family friendly!
DeleteI posted your review - here!
Hope you also enjoy "Blueprint to the Heart!"
Winter Movie Coiuntdown
ReplyDeleteNext Sunday & Monday
14 to 1
I got Two of them that are part of the Countdown Winter Love Story and Winter in Vail.
DeleteCorrection I got 3 movies that are part of the Hallmark Winter Countdown Winter Love Story, Love on Iceland and Winter in Vail.
Delete"A New Year's Resolution" is one of the best Hallmark movies ever, in my opinion. It is far and above the usual same old, same old fare. The whole look and feel and writing of it are very high quality. Aimee Teegarden is impossibly adorable, and even Michael Rady has some pep in his step, (for once.) :)
ReplyDeleteAmy G., I'm so happy to hear how much you loved "A New Year's Resolution!" That is certainly high praise - calling it one of the best. Aimee & Michael look super cute together!
DeleteI also added your wonderful review to the New January Hallmark Movies - here! Thank you so much for sharing with us! :)
How long H&F returns on with New episodes?
ReplyDeleteI watch classic movies after Golden Girls while I’m recording H&F when I found out it’s movies
A Winter Getaway
ReplyDeleteI notice Jacob Blair is in the movie with Nazneen Contractor & Brooks Darnell
Net, Has there been any Hallmark Wedding Winter movies that you see in January?
ReplyDeleteProbably the most memorable Hallmark Winter movie wedding for me would be "June in January." I just love Brooke D'Orsay and Wes Brown together!
DeleteIs "Winter Castle"and "Marrying Mr.Darcy" a Winter wedding Hallmark movies?
DeleteI thought that"June in January" is a wedding movie that was June Wedding movie for close to Summer.
DeleteYes, both "Winter Castle" and "Marrying Mr. Darcy" are perfect examples of Winter Wedding movies! Love both of those movies too!
Delete"June in January" first premiered in January of 2014.
ReplyDeleteThat's true I looked that up.
