Storyline via ABC: In "Same Time, Next Christmas," Olivia Anderson (played by Lea Michele) is a successful young woman who met her childhood sweetheart during her family's annual Christmas visit to Hawaii. After being separated by distance and years, the two reunite at the same Hawaiian resort years later, and the old chemistry between them flares up anew—but circumstances conspire to keep them apart.
Please note: I have not previewed the new movies above. I do expect "A Very Corgi Christmas" to be fun and family friendly.
Hope you enjoy watching Charlie Brown again tonight. When I hear sweet Linus tell everyone proudly the true meaning of Christmas, I get chills every time. It's so beautiful to see all the Peanuts Gang finally come together at the end and sing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." Simply beautiful. A true Christmas treasure!
Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown! And everyone who visits here!
Awe, Jim, I love that! You said exactly what my heart was feeling! No other show/movie can move me quite like Charlie Brown, except "It's a Wonderful Life," of course! That Linus moment is perfection!
ReplyDeleteJim! I love this show, too! Laura has also been my choice to win from the beginning! She is so sweet, and I love her and Kavan together.
ReplyDeleteSomeone mentioned to me that the winner is revealed on Twitter. I won't tell who it is, but I think it should've been kept a secret until the finale episode aired.
Anyway... can't wait to see what they both create for the finale! :)
I didn't get a chance to watch the ABC movie but, for what it's worth, I did see that it is rated TV PG for dialogue. And the little bit of A Very Corgi Christmas that I was able to see was cute. Kevin is always great and there were some fun dynamics between the parents/kids and parents together. And given the channel, I'm not worried about it being inappropriate (thankfully).
