via Hallmark: Beloved chef, restaurant owner and morning show segment host Billie Blessings becomes a key player in a deliciously deceptive murder mystery when a body is found in the trunk of her on-camera celebrity guest chef’s rental car. After the chef returns to the show and is implicated in a prior murder, Billie is targeted for the on-air ambush, even though she’s pretty sure the guy didn’t do it. Now caught in the middle of this mess, Billie must uncover... Click here to read more...
Hiiii just a quick question: is hallmark channel planning on playing one new movie from 2018 line up? Just wondering. They did it in previous years but I can’t see it this year. Thank you
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, we are not getting a NEW Hallmark Christmas movie in July, but we will have lots of new ones this upcoming Christmas season! :)
DeleteLooks like a great weekend for Christmas pjs, popcorn and solving a mystery. Thanks Net for the guide...you never steer me wrong!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that they only showed a few promos for the upcoming season on the preview special. (I remember this also happened last year.) But, I know that they are still filming (or have yet to begin filming) a lot of the movies, so I guess it's understandable.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I loved the preview and behind-the-scenes clip for Christmas at Pemberley Manor. The movie looks like it will be a lot of fun, and you could sense the chemistry among the actors. I'm betting this will be one of my favorites of the season!

Hello Mark25!
DeleteThat was one of my favorites from the preview special too.
I think "Christmas at Pemberley Manor" stood out to me because I thoroughly love Jane Austen's books and most of the movie adaptations, as well. In addition to that, I enjoyed Michael Rady so much in "A Joyous Christmas" last year, I'm hoping I will feel the same this year + I'm intrigued to see how he will portray the infamous Mr. Darcy!
With over 30 movies coming, I kinda figured we would only see a handful of movies or so... they have to leave some for (I'm assuming) Candace's Christmas Preview Show. But, I was rather surprised Lacey didn't even whisper a mention of her own upcoming Christmas movie. Anyway, I'm sure we will be hearing lots more - real soon! :)
By the way... love that you had the preview show in mind today- cuz I just added a recap post!
Thank you for sharing! Net
Mark -- MOST of the movies have not been filmed, **unless Hallmark acquires some of the unclaimed Christmas movies that were filmed earlier this year, seemingly unattached to any network** (yet).
DeleteWe are supposed to be getting 34 or 36 new movies, and very few of them have begun filming, relatively speaking, let alone wrapped up.
The Jessy Schram-Chad Michael Murray movie started production too late to get a mention in this special, but that one is filming now. That movie, combined with the ones mentioned in the preview and the When Calls the Heart movie, make up only eight (8) confirmed, officially announced Hallmark Christmas movies that have been filmed or are filming now.
So, the fact that they showed clips of 6 of them -- out of the 8 that have gone into production -- is actually pretty impressive for a 30-minute special in July!
The next 3-4 months are going to be jam-packed with Christmas movie shoots, most likely!
