Via INSP: "Host Jill Wagner, is on the road again (in INSP's Handcrafted America), traveling the country with new destinations—on back roads to freeways, urban centers to rural hideaways, from Hawaii to New Hampshire—seeking out a new group of artisans dedicated to crafting fine products the traditional way…with their own two hands."
My take: "Handcrafted America" is the foundation of our country, our roots, our heritage. It's a trade or skill passed down from generation to generation, often forgotten about, perhaps, in our tech, mass produced spinning world. It's taking a simple piece of wood or any material and making it into something useful, like our forefathers did, inventing new ways to make the things they needed for everyday life. This show is often a fascinating lesson of history; each time I see it, I learn something new! It's amazing to watch the artisans at work, and it's fun to see Jill, not only host, but join right in!
Be sure to watch Jill Wagner (you know you loved her in the Hallmark movie "Christmas Cookies!"), as she hosts new episodes of "Handcrafted America" from Season 2, Friday Nights on INSP at 9:30pm/8:30c.!
My husband and I absolutely love this show! It is so informative and entertaining. Ms. Wagner does an excellent job of hosting it.
