Catch the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Finale with the cast of "The Middle"

I saw a preview of this week's upcoming Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and just had to share this inspiring story....

Patrick Sharrock, of Rossville, Georgia may be only nine years old, but he has a rare genetic disorder known as brittle bone disease, and even the slightest of bumps can cause a broken bone. Extreme Makeover Home Edition has built a safe home for Patrick to grow up in.

Atticus Shaffer, who is 12 years old, portrays Brick Heck on the ABC sitcom The Middle and also has osteogenesis imperfecta, better known as brittle bone disease. Patrick and his family will make a surprise visit to the set of The Middle and meet the entire cast while their new home is being built.

  2. That’s really cool how ABC made the comic book scenes to depict the building of the home. Hiring an artist to do that was a big endeavor and they really did a nice job on this episode. I always love hearing Ty say those words; “Welcome home Sharrock family! Welcome home!” I always spend my Sunday with either my parents or my wife’s so we record the show and watch it on our own with my DISH Network employee Sling adapter on our iPhones. This way we save time and spend quality time at home with our kids who don’t really care for the show. The time saving of my Sling is something we really love.
