So incredibly odd to me that Hallmark is not airing, "Finding Father Christmas" before they air, "Engaging Father Christmas", and "Marrying Father Christmas." It's a trilogy with each movie building on the prior one. Why on earth would they only air two parts without the first part?!?

I know that Hallmark is trying to get people to sign up for their streaming service where the movie is probably available but tactics like this as well as not airing most of their older Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movies is not the best way to treat their loyal viewers.

    1. Finding Father Christmas is on Hallmark Movies Now, they were advertising it to go there and watch before watching Engaging and Marrying.

    2. I agree with Susan. I'm already paying an extra fee to include two Hallmark channels in my local cable package. I don't get the Hallmark Drama channel or the UP Network because I don't want to pay even more to add those. Now I'm supposed to pay even more for a streaming service?

I get it. It's a business. Hallmark produces a ridiculous amount of original Christmas content every year. They have to pay for that somehow and they know how popular their Christmas movies are. A streaming service is a great way to capitalize on that. But I just don't have the expendable income to pay for another service.

  2. Thanks for the reminder! I am thinking of watching the UP movie one!

  3. Family reunion - Julia Wise's 3 Wise Sons on Road to Christmas

  4. Christmas Joy was as good as I expected it to be, and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked he Christmas Switch from UP. Didn't get to watch the other 2 yet, will try in the next few days.

  5. Marrying Father Christmas doesn't mention Miranda's relatives from her Mother's side but she has Uncle Charles.

Isn't Marrying Father Christmas the last one?

    Newlywed Father Christmas?
    Honeymoon Father Christmas?
    Bundle Joy Father Christmas?

  6. I watched Road to Christmas last night, such a great movie, I had tears of joy at the end, such a great movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Why would UP not have additional showings of this is our Christmas? I missed it and can’t find another showing. It’s very odd not to have multiple viewings of premiere movies.

    1. Well, this one is a little different... in that that it first premiered in the AM hours, and UP really never announced it as one of their main premiere movies for this Christmas season, even though it is a 2018 film. Will it play again? I'm not sure, yet, but I'll be sure to include in the Christmas TV Schedule, if so! :)

I think it was aired in that time slot with no repeat airings for a reason - it was terrible. And not just a little terrible. A LOT terrible. A more convoluted mess of a Christmas movie I honestly can't remember ever seeing. I think the network realized it was a dog and just dumped it where no one would ever see it. I can find good in even the most "meh" Christmas movies but this one was one of the worst I've ever seen.
