Here's the list of movies, courtesy of EW & Hallmark:

Mr. Christmas (*NEW)
Premieres: Nov. 5, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Sam Page, Tara Holt
Official logline: “Tom Jacobs has built an entire business around helping clients find the perfect gift for their loved ones. Since his company’s busiest time of the year is the holidays, he’s earned himself the nickname Mr. Christmas. When Tom’s good friend Paul comes to him asking for help in finding a gift for his girlfriend, Jenny, Mr. Christmas finds himself in a bit of trouble. The more he learns about Jenny during his research, the more he likes her, and the guiltier he feels being caught between his heart and his best friend. With Christmas rapidly approaching, Tom dreads his encroaching deadline as it will mean an end to his time with Jenny and perhaps an end to his only chance at being with his one true love.”

A Song for Christmas
Premieres: Nov. 11, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Rebecca Tobin, Kevin McGarry
Official logline: “Pop superstar Adelaide Kay is so fed up with her controlling manager that she sneaks off the tour bus after their latest squabble. Though exhilarated to be free, she finds herself stranded in the freezing cold of a Pennsylvania winter, with no money and no plan. A local family, the Lapps, take her in. They know the true meaning of the season, even if they’re close to losing their dairy farm. No one in the family recognizes Adelaide except Dillon, the oldest son. He figures she’s the ticket to fast cash and plots to snap photos of Adelaide around the farm and sell them to the tabs. What he doesn’t plan, however, is their mutual attraction. As they get to know each other, Dillon has two realizations: Profiteering from invading Adelaide’s privacy is wrong, and his uptight girlfriend is not the one for him. When Adelaide performs a song, which Dillon’s kid sister wrote, a lot of money is earned which aids the Lapps and other strapped farmers.”

Engaging Father Christmas
Premieres: Nov. 12, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Erin Krakow, Niall Matter, Wendie Malick
Official logline: “It was supposed to be the perfect engagement. What could be more romantic than a Christmas proposal in a bucolic Vermont inn? Ian has it planned perfectly, or so he thinks. Miranda, an interior designer, returns to where she met Ian, a dashing former attorney who now runs the little hotel in the quaint town of Carlton Heath. After doing some digging to learn about her family roots, Miranda had traced her lineage to Carlton Heath. Though it’s Christmas, Miranda had always done her best to distance herself from the holiday; her mom, an actress, had died while performing a holiday play. Ian has carefully planned every aspect of Miranda’s visit so he could make the most romantic proposal. Too bad the best-laid plans often go awry – even during Christmas.”

A Joyous Christmas (Formerly Christmas for Joy)
Premieres: Nov. 18, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: TBA
Official logline:“Joy may be down-on-her-luck, but her humanity is intact. She jumps to the aid of a stranger, rescuing the woman from a terrible accident. The woman who nearly died is quite successful and learns a great lesson from her accident: Helping others is the key to true success and could be the path to finding true love as well.”

A Bramble House Christmas
Premieres: Nov. 19, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Autumn Reeser, David Haydn-Jones, Teryl Rothery
Official logline: “While settling his father’s estate, Finn Conrad becomes suspicious as to why he left a nurse $50,000. His dad knew her for less than two months before he died. Just before Christmas, Finn wants to reclaim what he considers his family’s money, so he goes undercover to investigate the bed-and-breakfast the nurse has recently taken over. When Finn meets Willa, he discovers she’s not a conniving gold digger at all. She’s the single mother of a sick boy who needed an operation. Finn’s dad paid for the operation and financed Willa’s dream of running the Bramble House B&B. Though Willa and Finn are protective of their hearts for different reasons, they fall in love — until she discovers his true identity and why he was there. Now Finn must gain Willa’s trust to make this a Christmas to remember.”

Christmas Homecoming (Formerly Welcome Home Warrior)
Premieres: Nov. 26, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Julie Benz, Michael Shanks
Official logline:“A military widow, whose faith in Christmas has lapsed, rents an apartment to a handsome Army Captain, recovering from an injury in battle, and whose faith in Christmas is inspirational. As they team up to save the town’s military museum with a Christmas fundraising event, these two ‘wounded birds’ find themselves falling in love — and being healed by the magic of Christmas.”

A Gift to Remember
Premieres: Dec. 2, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Ali Liebert, Peter Porte
Official logline: “Darcy’s lifelong love of reading has led her to the perfect job, working in a small Manhattan bookstore. A real romantic, Darcy won’t settle for some man simply because of his job title or bank account. No, she insists on being swept off her feet. One day, while bicycling to work, Darcy crashes into Adrian, a sharply dressed gentleman walking his dog. Knocked unconscious, he’s rushed to the hospital where he falls into a coma. Deeply shaken, the guilt-ridden Darcy takes the dog home, waiting to reunite him with his owner. As she learns more about Aidan — a world-traveler, a devoted man of letters — Darcy realizes he could be the one she has been waiting for. That is, until he comes to and Darcy discovers she has created a fictional world for a very real man. Will she still fall in love?”

Angel Falls
Premieres: Dec. 3, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: Rachel Boston, Paul Greene
Official logline: “Angel Gabriel (Rachel Boston) – Gabby – gets a special assignment and is dispatched to the town of Angel Falls. The town has lost its Christmas spirit and Gabby is charged with the task of helping the residents recapture it. Along the way, she befriends Jack Avery (Paul Greene), the Volunteer Fire Chief, who’s initially skeptical about her plan to revive the local Yuletide cheer. Determined, Gabby takes a job at the local church as the volunteer coordinator and sets about her business of recruiting residents to get the town’s holiday back on track. In the process of bringing back beloved Angel Falls Christmas traditions, Gabby has a surprising revelation about herself and her own dreams that set her down an unexpected path.”

Unbridled Love
Premieres: Dec. 9, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: TBA
Official logline: “Evil stepmothers don’t only lurk in castles, tormenting helpless children. Sometimes, they’re on ranches, tormenting adults. A year after her father died in a fire at their Oregon ranch — a fire accidentally caused by her stepmother, Mae — Sarah has finally found her footing, turning the family homestead into a successful dude ranch. Still, Mae is pushing to take it over, seeing it as a potential goldmine. Meanwhile, Graham, a Hollywood superstar, wants to use the ranch as the location of his next movie. Sarah isn’t inclined to allow it. During a long horseback ride through the moonlit mountains, Graham explains why this project is so dear to him. That and a soulful kiss make Sarah relent. But all does not run smoothly once the movie starts. Graham and his costar, Simone, had been involved; Sarah has fallen hard for the handsome star. Still, she won’t allow jealousy to cloud her professionalism. When Simone’s horse runs wild, Sarah saves her. And when Sarah’s evil stepmother, Mae, also runs wild — suing Sarah — Simone, in turn, saves Sarah.”

Karen Kingsbury’s Maggie’s Miracle
Premieres: Dec. 10, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: TBA
Official logline: “Megan spent one unforgettable summer with a boy when they were teens, and she’s never forgotten his magical definition of love. Now a high-powered attorney in New York and the single mother, her young son unexpectedly connects them again, but it’s not until Christmas when Maggie finally gets the miracle — the love — she’s longed for.”

The Christmas Cottage
Premieres: Dec. 16, 9 p.m. ET/PT
Stars: TBA
Official logline: “Still only in her mid-twenties, Lacey Quinn has already given up on love. Her heart’s been broken too many times, and now she concentrates on her career as an interior designer in Raleigh, North Carolina. When BFF Ava Callahan asks Lacey to be her maid of honor, she must take on a few responsibilities, including making sure the Callahan family cottage is perfect for the honeymoon. Legend has it that if newlyweds spend their first night there, everlasting love and happiness follow. Lacey isn’t sure she buys into that notion. Still, when she finds herself snowed in there with Charlie, Ava’s brother, Lacey has to reconsider if the little house may hold some romantic magic after all — especially at Christmas.”

  1. Thank you Net!!!!! I can't hardly wait! It already feels like Christmas Time with this news! I am already starting to decorate my trees outside when the temps are warm. I love a cold white Christmas but not working in it. Thank you for always keeping us Christmas movie fans up to date!

    1. That sounds like an awesome plan, NK! I love decorating for Christmas inside & out, too, but I'm with you - definitely not so much fun in the cold!!!

Happy decorating and I'm so glad to know you enjoyed the Christmas movie news!!!

      Blessings, Net :)

  2. These all sound great! I'm gearing up my excitement for all of this non stop Christmas movie entertainment.

    1. Oh, me too!!! I LOVE the CHRISTMAS MOVIES 24-7!!! Come on Christmastime!!! :)

  3. I'm always curious each year to see if Hallmark Movies & Mysteries might do a Christmas movie with one of their mystery movies like they did with Signed, Sealed, Delivered and Murder She Baked. Guess not this year, but I think mystery fans like myself would like that.

I can't wait to see this Christmas- Song for Christmas, Bramble House, Engaging Father Christmas, Angel Falls, and who am I kidding- all of them!!!!!

    1. You & me both, Anna!!! I choose all of them, too!!!

As for the mystery movies, I have been hoping for another Signed, Sealed, Delivered Christmas movie ever since we were given the first one, but unfortunately they haven't created another. I would also love to see another one from Murder She Baked, or even Aurora Teagarden, Gourmet Detective, etc... There are many great possibilities there!!!

Thanks for sharing your picks!!! Net :)

  4. I'm just about to bust with excitement over all the Hallmark Christmas movies, Net! I've got to go back and read all the story lines. Thanks also for the heads up on Home and Family's Christmas movie announcements. DVR is set!

    1. I feel the same way, Mia!!! Hallmark Christmas movies are always extra special and they are all such feel good movies - just hearing all about them all fills us with enormous excitement!!!

  5. Oh, Net, you made my heart sing!! I, too, feel like Christmas is "right around the corner" and I needed a big lift after watching the news this past week concerning Irma. God bless Florida and restore all that has been taken!! You will fare well!!

    1. Yes, it is good to get some positive news today, even though are hearts are heavy for Texas, Florida, and on this 16th anniversary of September 11th. Hallmark has always given us happy place to turn to when the news on TV is tough to hear.

Thank you, Linda, for sharing in the Christmas movie joy! The Christmas movie season is one day closer!

      Blessings, Net

  6. As usual there is a lot of chopping and changing going on.

Mr Christmas with Sam Page and Tara Holt doesn't seem to have been mentioned before so has another movie been dropped and if so which one?

Maggie's Miracle and Magical Christmas Ornaments which were scheduled as airing on Movies & Mysteries aren't mentioned while Angel Falls and A Song For Christmas were originally supposedly showing on the Movies Channel.

    1. Yes, lots of schedule changes have taken place as they generally do this time of year when everything is being finalized and settled into place. You are right, "Mr. Christmas" is a brand new title, and surprisingly, it will be the first one we will see from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (HMM) this year!

Maggie's Miracle is still on the list above (number 10!) and will be premiering on HMM.

According to EW's article - Good Sam, Never Too Late For Christmas, and Magical Christmas Ornaments are no longer part of this year’s slate.

"Angel Falls" and "A Song For Christmas" will both be airing on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, as well! See premiere dates above!

Thank you for commenting! I hope you enjoy all the Christmas movies!!! :)

  7. Also looks like some more movie name changes in the latest Hallmark official info ... For instance Christmas Sister Swap is now listed as Switched for Christmas, Secret Santa as Secretly Santa (probably because they've already aired a movie with that title) and New Year's Kiss as New Year's Gala. Might be a couple others.

Also have a feeling Christmas Music Store has either gone away, or been renamed. Same with Christmas Castle though, based on the description that could be the same movie as Coming Home For Christmas with Danica McKeller. Both involve a large house, anyway.

I also keep confusing Christmas in Evergreen and Reindeer Lodge, which is supposed to star Alison Sweeney. For the longest time I assume they must be the same movie, with different titles, since we know how Hallmark likes to announce and THEN change titles, but apparently not? I mean, according to the descriptions, one takes place at the Evergreen Lodge and the other in Evergreen, Vermont. Confusing to say the least!

Also check out Alicia Witt's Twtter/Instagram as she's been posting a lot while filming her new movie, Mistletoe Inn, based on the book by Richard Paul Evans, given Alicia's Hallmark cred and that the book is a direct sequel to Mistletoe Promise, which last year's Hallmark film was based on, this is definitely for Hallmark, even if it's not on their preview lists.

    1. I'll also note that all the name changes we know about already -- see above -- are, in my opinion, for the worse. "Christmas Sister Swap," for instance, which had yet another working title at one point, is a lot more descriptive and interesting than "Switched for Christmas." Same for "New Year's Kiss" vs "New Year's Gala." Plus, usually when they change a name it's to incorporate the word Christmas or Santa, because they know those are popular holiday viewing search terms. To go with something more generic with a name that already had Christmas in it is just ... weird.

  8. How weird is that something like Magical Christmas Ornaments is announced in an official press release in late July and then, barely more than a month later, is already gone. Poof. I just can't think of many other networks that regularly publicly tout films that A) never materialize or B) change names, sometimes multiple times, before they get to air.

Also interested to see if they'll move, or reveal, one or more of the movies to their new Hallmark Drama network. Christmas is Hallmark's busiest, most watched season, so putting an original movie on their new network is guaranteed to get it noticed in a way little else would. I can't imagine why they WOULDN'T do just that. But they've made odder marketing choices in the past (see paragraph one above).

    1. Yes, as you noted, there have been quite a few changes!!! I had been alerted there were going to be some title changes, so I knew that was coming and I'm sure we can all expect an official Christmas movie press release from the Hallmark Channel fairly soon!!! :)

  9. looks great. I have always liked the Christmas movies on the mystery channel in comparison the regular channel. Seems more variety on mystery channel also as they play hallmark classics as well as some more story driven films. (Meaning by December regular channel will be playing only the movies that premiered in Nov 2017 & movies from 2016) Starting to get excited!

  10. I was watching home & family last Friday and they made an announcment of the Miracle Movies of Christmas (or something like that). Anyword what they are referring too?

    1. tvh - Yes, they usually call the movies on the Hallmark Channel the “Countdown to Christmas Movies” and the Christmas movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are called “The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas.”

However, they also call the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies now, “The 12 Miracle Movies of Christmas.” So… you may see the HMM movies referred to either way this Christmas season.

By the way, I have an image of “The 12 Miracle Movies of Christmas” featured above!

    2. still curious though. Not sure of the meaning of "Miracle" in the subject of some of the movies. I guess I was expecting an extraordinary event type picture.

  11. Are there any new movies until 12/31?

    All weeks Christmas movies

Since Freeform/ABC Family Channel have 25 Days Christmas movies

    1. Both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be playing old & new Christmas movies from October 27th until probably January 1st - New Years Day!

As for new movies, these are the 12 new ones (above) from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The Hallmark Channel will have 21! See them here: http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2017/09/hallmark-channel-unwraps-21-countdown-to-christmas-movies-2017.html.

Hope you enjoy checking out all the upcoming Christmas movies!!! Thank you for commenting! :)

  12. Gabriel is a guy's name & Gabriella or Gabrielle is girl's name for Angel Gabrielle (Rachel Boston) on Angel Falls
