I can't wait!!! I just watched Love Finds You in Charm for the second time last night. These are such good movies!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Susan! UP is wonderful - at giving viewers wholesome family movie choices!
DeleteThe "Love Finds You" are the beast movies ever. I wonder if the Love Finds You In Charm is available on DVD? I have the Love Finds You In Sugar Creek and whenever I am down I watch it. The Amish movies are always a delight. I especially like "and they lived happily ever after" which most of them end that way.
ReplyDeleteI just checked Amazon and I don't see a DVD listing for it, yet... but it does seem like so many of the UP movies are released on DVD, that this one will surely be released, eventually.
DeleteBTW, I absolutely love "happy endings" too!!! :)
I found Love Finds you in Charm at Walmart for around $10.00. Bought 2, one for a friend. Cami
DeleteI have just discovered the UP network, from this blog! Thank you so much! Can't wait to see this when it is aired! :)
ReplyDeleteIs the tv movie "Love finds you in Valentine" based on the book "Love finds you in Valentine, Nebraska"?
ReplyDeleteYes it is!
DeleteThis is a link to the book Love Finds You in Valentine by Irene Brand at Amazon:

Yes it is... Irene Brand from Southside WV wrote that book and many other good books.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful movie!!!! I am thrilled thatthe UP and Hsllmark networks are airing movies with a horse theme in the plots. It fills a void with the cancelling of Heartland. This is a beautiful family film.....keep them coming...PLEASE:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful film.....so happy horse themed films are in the plots that help fill a void since the cancelling of Heartland. Love this film and excited for more to come:)
ReplyDeleteI, too, love the western themed movies that are so popular today and hope they continue. This was beautiful and so in accordance with the "Love Finds You In" films that we have all come to love.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with all the above comments. This is a beautiful movie and I have seen it for the third time today. Did they make any other "Love Finds You" movies on DVD? I have "Love Finds You In Charm" and "Love Finds You In Sugar Creek." both are really family oriented no need to worry about children viewing. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if this movie was filmed in Valentine, Nebraska? It location is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAccording to IMDB, this movie was actually filmed in Millersburg, Ohio.
DeleteKind of an unrelated question, but does anyone know if more movies will be made based off of this series?
The movie was inspired by a true story, do you know the names of the people the story was inspired by? I can't find anything on the names used in the movie.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your question, Tina. The movie "Love Finds You in Valentine" was based on the fictional book, of the same name, by author Irene Brand. It is possible the writer may have loosely based it in on a real life story, but... unfortunately I couldn't find any information on this, either.
