PLOT:
from Disney-
In "Dadnapped," a daughter-father action comedy set in and around the fictional Western town of Mercury, 15-year-old Melissa Morris and her father, Neal, the author of a popular action hero book series featuring Tripp Zoome, attend a conference of the book's most ardent fans and unwittingly become part of a prank dad-napping by three teens.
Movie Review:
It's a family disney movie. It's full of reality meets fantasy as Melissa Norris struggles to compete with her writer father's fictional character - Tripp Zoome.
There are two kid-nappings in this movie - that are treated somewhat like a game. Melissa and her Father, Neal, escape... but it is a very strange situation. There's an all-star cast of Disney Channel regulars so that makes it extra fun! Plus, there are lots of funny scenes and moments... especially loved when Melissa (Emily Osment) and Merv (Jason Earles, Jackson from Hannah Montana) accidentally run their car through the car wash with the top down. Very Bubbly and Sudsy! Plus, this movie includes, Moises Arias, (Rico on Hannah Montana) who is so cute and funny!
I also love Emily Osment and George Newbern, as actors. Emily is so sweet in Hannah Montana, as Hannah's best friend... and I've enjoyed George Newbern in many shows: Father of the Bride, Designing Women, the Sons of Mistletoe, etc...
I know it's a movie - comic book fans will love. Much of the movie is based on Fantasy as it deals with Neal Morris's fictional book about Tripp Zoome.
See or Skip: See, fun family movie!
