πŸŽ„Christmas in July Is Days Away On The Hallmark Channel And Great American Family!πŸŽ„ SEE HERE:

'Twas just days before Christmas in July-
all throughout the land.
Santa was vacationing-
lying on the beach in the sand.

The people were extra busy-
and exhausted from the heat.
They needed some sort of rest-
some much needed relief.

And then they heard in an instant-
Christmas in July was on it's way!
Santa would surely come -
as soon as he loaded up the sleigh!

They danced all about -
and shouted with glee!
Christmas in July was coming!
And everyone was sooo happy!

Happy (almost) Christmas in July,
Everyone!

I just wanted to remind everyone that *Merry Movie Week* is currently running on Hallmark Mystery; I caught my two favorites over the weekend- A Veteran's Christmas and Miracle in Bethlehem, PA, and parts of others. I just love the way they always make me feel good inside and fill me with peace.

The Hallmark Channel is bringing Christmas Cheer with their annual Christmas in July event on Friday, June 28th!

Great American Family's Christmas in July also kicks off with 24/7 Christmas movie coverage on Monday, July 1st, one week from today!

UPDATE: I'm seeing in various TV Schedules that Great American Family is starting their *Christmas in July* event earlier than previously announced. GFAM is starting their Christmas movies THIS FRIDAY, June 28th - beginning at 8pm EST.!

Be sure to check the Christmas Movie Schedule - as I will be updating it with all the Christmas movies, as they are released!

Today is also a special day as we mark 6 months 'til Christmas Eve and tomorrow, June 25th, is National Leon Day, the halfway point to Christmas! (In case you're curious, according to Google, the Leon comes from spelling "Noel", another name for Christmas, backwards.)

So, now we are halfway there, everyone! Wow! It always seems like a long time getting here, but the entire Christmas season from Christmas in July to the movie season from October to December always seems to fly by faster than Santa's sleigh!

Let's enjoy every single day as we countdown together!

Have a Blessed, Merry Day!

  1. What a great article- Santa, poetry and info about “Days Before Christmas. I especially loved the “filled me with peace” statement. That’s what this blog brings.
    God bless you all.

  3. I have a question for you all. Net, in your cute little poem you mentioned that Santa is loading up his sleigh with gifts. Does anyone actually exchange gifts on July 25th for Christmas in July? I guess I never even thought of doing that. I wonder if anyone does that? Put the tree up and exchange gifts.

I love this National Leon Day hahaha. I only heard this mentioned a couple of days ago but didn't know what it was. Net's mention made me look it up. I can't BELIEVE that I never heard of this special holiday by name before (Leon). I looked up how some celebrate it. Had no idea. Love it!

With how prevalent "Christmas in July" is now and how early (October 11th) they start showing new Christmas movies and all the fall festivities starting in September it really does seem like the holiday season starts at end of June now (National Leon Day) and runs all the way to New Year's Day. Football even starts in August which is a holiday also haha.

    1. Jim, I've never personally exchanged gifts for Christmas in July, but I've heard of some people doing white elephant parties.

I thought that line - "Santa would surely come -
as soon as he loaded up the sleigh" - sounded cute in the poem, and of course, there will be lots of gift-giving in the Christmas movies airing during CIJ!

Happy National Leon Day tomorrow... enjoy the Christmas movies!!! :)

  5. Love your poem, Net! As always, so clever with words!

Yes, can you believe it? We are halfway home to Christmas! I've been watching some of my favorites lately - it helps in beating this heat! Yesterday I watched Miracle in Bethlehem, PA again - such a heartwarming movie! - and two nights ago I watched Next Stop, Christmas - so enjoyable (but I am still confused over the ending)! And two days ago it was Journey Back to Christmas, my favorite CCB movie!

Not sure yet what I will watch tonight and tomorrow. Too many good ones to choose from!

    1. Mark 25 - It's great to hear the Christmas movies you've been watching/enjoying on Hallmark Mystery! I agree, "Next Stop, Christmas" is kind of odd there at the end. Those sorts of movies are generally head-scratchers.

I adore the vintage-look in "Journey Back to Christmas." Unfortunately, they played that one late, but I went back to retrieve it on Frndly and will watch it soon!

I have "A Little Christmas Charm" playing right now. That one is such a good one. I especially love the old-fashioned train scene.

You are so right- lots of good ones to watch this week and beyond! Enjoy immersing yourself in the Christmas movie magic!!! :)

  7. Net, love your poem, so cute! We had a busy weekend but I watched Christmas movies Saturday and Sunday night. I am currently watching Time for me to come home for Christmas, which I think is the first one of the bunch? It’s the only one I didn’t finish watching, aired in 2018. I really hope they make another one this year, I love all of these “Time For” ones.
