  1. I wish all the Up movies would also play on Hallmark. It looks like I miss out on alot of good movies as I do not have the Up channel and do not want to pay more to add it.

    1. Two completely different Networks though. Rodeo and Juliet is available on Amazon Video

    2. I also don't get the UP Network and can't really afford to pay for it since it comes with a block of channels that I don't want in my house. Luckily, Hallmark has so many new movies on this year that I'm not sure I'd get around to watching the ones on UP anyway even if they do sound pretty good.

  2. I'm glad I will be able to see all the movies, but I don't have DVR. LOL

I will for sure be watching Ice Sculpture Christmas! Looks so cute.

I can't wait to see "Charming Christmas." I have a feeling I will like that one, and I hope I'm right.

It's weird -- this year a lot of the titles and movie descriptions in my cable menu (I have Time Warner) are askew. For example, what should be "RODEO & Juliet" on UP Is listed as "Romeo & Juliet," and has a description of the Romeo & Juliet story.

In another example, when the Countdown to Christmas first began last weekend, in my onscreen guide there was something called "Meet the Saints," which was supposed to be a special all about the New Orleans Saints!!! I kept wondering why Hallmark would be interrupting its holiday programming with a special about the Saints, only to later realize that it was actually "Meet the Santas" that was airing!! Lol.

One other example of a movie description gone awry is "All I Want for Christmas" on Hallmark. Right now, when I pull up that title in the cable menu for Hallmark it gives me the description AND cast of the movie with the same name that has aired on ION, and NOT the description and cast that features Gail O'Grady (which is Hallmark's movie). Lol.

So, needless to say, Time Warner is all mixed up this year. It's a good thing I know what they are trying to say, but other people who are new to this Countdown to Christmas might have thought that there really was a special called "Meet the Saints" airing on Hallmark! Or they might be expecting a movie with Melissa Sagemiller, only to end up with a movie starring Gail O'Grady!

    1. Sherry, I’ve also noticed the programming mistakes as well. I just saw the “Romeo and Juliet” error when I was recording “Rodeo and Juliet”. At one point, I thought UP Network forgot to air the movie and I had to look at their website to double-check the schedule. I also remember the “Meet the Saints” error. I was starting to think that Hallmark teamed up with the New Orleans Saints to promote next year’s Kitten Bowl. Glad to know I’m not the only one who noticed these mistakes.

    2. Haven't seen those mistakes, Sherry,as I don't have Time Warner cable. I wonder if that was due to auto correct or something? Guess even multi-million companies make errors.

Lol. I am so glad I'm not the only one who noticed the mistakes too. At first I thought I was losing my mind. Then I thought, "Oh no. I hope Hallmark isn't going to start showing football on the channel." And then I wondered if the "Meet the Saints" special was just some sort of filler because it was the end of Daylight Savings and they wanted to have something to air overnight in the 'Fall back" time frame.

I think that both "Meet the Saints" and "Romeo & Juliet" could easily be Auto Correct-related. The issue with "All I Want for Christmas" is different, in that the title is totally correct -- but the plot synopsis and cast listed in the synopsis are not correct. It's like someone who was preparing the onscreen cable guide menu didn't realize that there was more than one movie with that name, and just defaulted to the movie from ION with Melissa Sagemiller, which is quite different from the Hallmark movie with Gail O'Grady!

Hopefully, since we're only one week into this Countdown to Christmas and UP's holiday schedule just began last night, whoever prepared that cable menu/schedule will become aware of the mistakes and fix them before we get too much deeper into the season.

  8. Oh noes! I just realized that we somehow lost the UP network between last Christmas and now. It's not listed on my cable's lineup at all!!

So my questions are: 1) is there another way to watch those UP movies that you know of? and 2) can I change my prediction vote that included one of the UP movies to something else? lol
