Hallmark Filming Part Three to Popular Series for December Movie Premiere!

Well known Hallmark actor, Logan Bartholomew ('The Ultimate Life', 'Love's Enduring Promise', 'Love's Long Journey') stars now in 'The Ultimate Legacy', which follows the stories of the previous films 'The Ultimate Gift' and 'The Ultimate Life'.

One of the locations for filming this made-for-TV Hallmark movie, is LaGrange, Kentucky. A local new station there WLKY, Challel 32, recently did a story on the filming. There are plans for the cast and crew to return in August, to film in the Louisville, Kentucky area, as well.

According to WLKY, The Ultimate Legacy will also star Raquel Welch, Doug Jones, Brian Dennehy and Lee Meriwether, and it will premiere on the Hallmark Channel in December!

UPDATE: The Premiere of The Ultimate Legacy has been moved to January!

So, now.... since it is premiering in December, should we also presume it is a Christmas movie? If it was any other network, I wouldn't be too sure, but this is Hallmark and we all know Christmas dominates their line-up from sun-up to sundown throughout November & December, so I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume, yes!

Beloved author Jim Stovall continues his best-selling Ultimate Gift series with The Gift of a Legacy.

“Just tell me how I can get my money and get out of here.”

Theodore Hamilton’s good friend and Joey Anderson’s great-grandmother, Sally Mae Anderson, touched many lives during her lifetime. Joey, however, has little interest in his great-grandmother’s final wishes after she dies—until he learns that she’s left him Anderson House, her successful bed-and-breakfast. But he will only inherit if he lives at Anderson House and follows Sally Mae’s instructions. How can Joey ever meet her challenge?
Jason Stevens knows how Joey is feeling. After all, Jason’s grandfather left him a similar inheritance years before—and his life has never been the same. The Gift of a Legacy reminds us that one legacy can change the world forever.

  4. It's a shame that Drew Fuller did not continue in the role of Jason Stevens.

  5. I enjoyed the... Legacy. I have only seen bits & pieces of the first two, thankfully that did not interfere with my ability to appreciate the intent of all 3 tales. 'the Ultimate' series could/should continue in my view Maybe hallmark viewers could submit ideas!! :)
