Have a great weekend, everyone!

I'm looking forward to spending some special, quality time with my family, and on Sunday evening - we'll be watching the conclusion of When Calls the Heart's Season 11, as it wraps up with the wedding of Mike and Mei, the return of Fiona, Rosemary and Lee's offer to the betterment of Hope Valley, surprises, secrets, and more! Will there be a cliffhanger? Oh, I sure hope not, but... we'll see! I just want to say how much I have enjoyed watching this family-friendly show week after week with my family. It's rare these days to have a wholesome program that everyone can watch together, and I'm grateful we've had this relaxing, entertaining hour every week. I will definitely miss it come next Sunday, but I'm glad we'll have the Christmas movies then!

Here in the Midwest, we've been experiencing quite the heatwave, and I'm sure many of you across the U.S. and elsewhere have been/are encountering the same sizzling temps! Hopefully, Hallmark Mystery's *Merry Movie Week* and Christmas in July will put us all in a cooler state of mind. I'm sooo looking forward to catching some of my favorite Christmas movies here and there throughout the weekend. Two movies I'm especially hoping to see are Miracle in Bethlehem, PA. and A Veteran's Christmas!

Please know, I haven't prescreened the new TV movies airing this weekend, Hallmark Channel's Passport to Love movie, Two Scoops of Italy, and UPtv's June Grooms movie, Discovering Love. If you'd like to share a review after they air, please do so in comments below.

Have a Blessed,
Wonderful Weekend!

🌟🎄Happy Merry Movie Week🎄🌟 Plus, Weekend TV Highlights...

It's *Christmas in July* in June on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Hallmark is known for starting holidays and celebrations early. So... get out your favorite Christmas mug, fill it up with shaved ice and red fruit punch, then cool off this Summer with a chilly, snowy Christmas flick!

Technically, Christmas movies start airing Friday night (TONIGHT!!!), June 23rd, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, but the official *Merry Movie Week* day of movies begins Saturday, June 24th!

You can see all sorts of Christmas movies during *Merry Movie Week,* such as A Christmas to Remember, Unlocking Christmas, Five Star Christmas, five Time to Come Home for Christmas movies, The Gift of Peace, A Veteran's Christmas, Northpole: Open for Christmas, and more!

Be sure to visit the Christmas TV Schedule to see all the family-friendly Christmas movies airing during *Merry Movie Week* and set your DVR so you don't miss any of your favorites.

You'll also find in the Christmas Schedule, Christmas movies coming up during *Christmas in July* on Great American Family, the Hallmark Channel and TCM! More Christmas movies will be added to the guide as the networks release their schedules.

Programming Notes for the Weekend:

*Great American Family's Friday night Christmas movie is "Christmas at the Drive-In," starring Danica McKellar!

*The Hallmark Channel has a special *You Gotta Have Heart Rom-Com-a-Thon* movie marathon all-day Saturday with stars from
When Calls the Heart. Movies included are My One & Only, Big Sky River, The Sweetest Heart, It Was Always You, and Feeling Butterflies.

*The only new movie premiere this weekend is Hallmark Channel's "Make Me a Match." I know many Hearties and Sleuthers are happy to see the return of actress Eva Bourne (from When Calls the Heart and Garage Sale Mysteries). However, I do want to caution the basis of this story is focused on fortune-telling. Eva's character, Vivi, enlists the help of an Indian Matchmaker, Raina, who gives her a palm reading. Unfortunately, while I'd love to see Eva again, due to this storyline, this movie is a skip for me. (the Bible on fortune telling)

*In addition to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' Christmas movies airing this weekend, the Vice Channel will have two airings of the silly Christmas comedy Elf at 7pm/6c. and 9pm/8c. on Sunday, June 25th, which marks 6 Months 'til Christmas!!! (Please note: I am not familiar with this channel; therefore, I don't know the variety of commercials that may be shown.)

*QVC will also Countdown to Christmas on Sunday, June 25th, with a day-long airing of Christmas in July-themed programming.

*********************

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I'm looking forward to catching some of my Christmas movie favorites this weekend on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

And for those of you who might be looking for the Christmas game this month to mark the 25th as we Countdown to Christmas, be sure to look for something fun next week!

May your weekend be Merry & Bright!

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend... filled with sunshine and blue skies! We are having a bit of a drought here in the Mid-west, though, so we would be grateful for some cloudy skies and rain. Our fields look good right now, but they are needing moisture. Please pray rain comes our way. What's your weather like in your area?

As I stare at the calendar here at my desk (yes, I'm old school... I keep a real paper calendar), I can hardly believe this is the last weekend in June. I'm planning to enjoy some of the movies airing this weekend (especially Christmas!) and spend some quality special time with my family and soak up every bit of Summer that I possibly can. Do you have any special plans this weekend or movies you hope to see (old or new)?

Please note: I haven't pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments below. Thank you!

UPDATE: I have learned there will be a same-sex relationship in the upcoming Christmas in July movie, Campfire Christmas. Due to my own personal faith and beliefs, I will not be promoting this film. I wanted to be certain you all were aware.

Keep cool, everyone, in this Summer heat...
Blessings to you all! Net

As Christmas approaches, Noelle (Candace Cameron Bure) is at a crossroads in her life when it seems that love, a connection with her father, and her dream career are out of reach. When she stays late at her job in a department store on a snowy Christmas Eve, she accidentally gets locked in after closing. She isn’t too concerned about the prospect of spending the night in the store… until a quirky woman appears out of nowhere in the shoe department and tells Noelle that she’s her guardian angel. Soon, Noelle finds herself revisiting Christmases past, present, and future as she must work with her new neighbor, a handsome, Christmas-loving firefighter, to plan the annual Christmas Charity Gala. Will visiting the holidays of yesterday and tomorrow help Noelle take new chances and discover the true spirit of Christmas? And in realizing that the only thing standing in her way of leading a fulfilling life is herself, will the love she has longed for all her life be the best surprise gift of all?

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I just adore Candace Cameron Bure and Jean Smart ("Designing Women") in "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" together. Jean is absolutely phenomenal as the angel, Charlie, giving Candace's character, Noelle, advice on her future. As Charlie, Jean Smart is quick-witted, quirky, and a whole lot of fun to watch. She's a real scene-stealer!

While I love all of the fashion and shoes in the movie, what really touches my heart is the additional story in "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" with the cross necklace and how Noelle gradually rediscovers her faith again. I would love to see Candace do more Christmas movies on GAC Family that have elements of faith, like this one!

Happy Christmas in June, Everyone!
Blessings on your day, Net
