'WHERE YOUR HEART BELONGS'
Previously titled: 'LOVE IS TRENDING'

All-New Hallmark Original
Saturday, January 1 (8 p.m. ET/PT)

Starring: Jen Lilley, Christopher Russell

Mackenzie Sullivan is a New York-based marketing executive struggling to keep her clients. When she returns home to a rural maple farm to help her best friend plan her wedding in just two weeks, Mackenzie learns the hard way that the love and support of family and true friends means more than she'd imagined.

Movie Reviews:

"I watched Where Your Heart Belongs and enjoyed the last part of this movie. There were no bad vibes for me. Completely family friendly! The movie was missing something in the first half but I am not sure what it was. Jen and Christopher worked well together. My only complaint is the difference in height! Why put a tall man with a short woman? Makes it awkward when dancing or kissing. Jen looks so beautiful in this movie." ~kitkat

"WHERE YOUR HEART BELONGS Family friendly. This was pretty cute. Nothing too special, but it was entertaining. Jen Lilley is one of my favorites because she can act so effortlessly that you don’t even think she is acting. I enjoyed watching Mac and Olivia in this. Their friendship seemed genuine and gave me all the nostalgic feels of me and my high school besties. I think I kind of liked watching the friendship more than the romance aspect. Those matching t-shirts made me smile πŸ˜ƒ. A couple things… Mac’s flamboyant assistant was incredibly annoying and overly pushy to me, especially in the beginning. It was kind of painful to watch Mac sort of “sabotage” her best friend’s wedding with her own business agenda, thanks to her assistant’s meddling. Overall, Jen Lilley and Chris Russell pairing was pretty solid. Chemistry could be better but they do look cute together. ~CH Mom

"I figured that since this was 1 of Jen's movies, that I'd just record and watch before reading any spoilers, plus it was the 1st new movie of the year, figured it'd be safe. The movie starts off great, but then a couple of minutes in, right next to the sign above the place where Mac and her friend are eating, I saw what looked to be the rainbow flag. Yes, the flag that promotes the community that doesn't support Christian Values! It was just for a few seconds, but I swear I saw it! After that, I got so distracted, and a bit disgusted, that I just turned off the movie 10 or 13 minutes in. So, as for if that was the only woke thing in the movie, I don't know. Though, I think another 1 of Mac's friends was sounding a bit gay like. Or it was just my paranoia. Sigh. Just goes to show that even if the movie has a familiar star and looks cute from the previews, depending on what network it airs on, it doesn't 100% mean that it'll be completely woke free. Something that was proven a bit too many times over the holiday season with Hallmark, unfortunately. Here's hoping The Wedding Veil trilogy avoids this garbage." -Maria

"So just to clarify since I mentioned “family friendly”…. I have just read Maria’s review and I totally missed the rainbow flag, my apologies. Many many times they are sneaking in these values not so blatantly. So frustrating. I do also get that feeling about the flamboyant assistant of Mac. He did seem very gay-like (so obvious Hallmark wanted to make us think that he was), but I’m pretty sure it was just implied, not mentioned. In other words, if you’re watching this with the whole family or young children, I’m thinking they probably would be oblivious to it, although it definitely does not justify this was wrong of Hallmark to do so." ~CH Mom

"Where Your Heart Belongs was not a favorite of mine. Jen's character was a bit selfish. She played the part well, though. I loved A Royally Wrapped Christmas. I definitely feel that there is competition between GAC and Hallmark." ~Namegirl

'THE WEDDING VEIL' (WT)
All-New Hallmark Original
Saturday, January 8 (8 p.m. ET/PT)

Starring: Lacey Chabert, Kevin McGarry, Autumn Reeser, Alison Sweeney

The first installment of an enchanting new trilogy starring three of Hallmark's most beloved leading ladies as longtime college friends who discover a mysterious, antique veil fabled to unite its bearer with her true love. After discovering a long-lost painting, museum curator Avery and successful, new board member Peter investigate the artwork's origins as they plan a charity fundraiser to unveil its restoration.

Movie Reviews:

"Happy to report The Wedding Veil is family friendly! Good movie! Lacy and Kevin were good together. Lacy is always good, but this was some of Kevin's best work in my opinion!" ~Joyce in Carolina

"THE WEDDING VEIL Family friendly. I enjoyed this one very much! I mean, with Lacey, Autumn and Ali, plus Kevin McGarry.. what more could we want? I really liked the art theme, the friendship, and the cute banters between the leads. Lacey looked lovely too in all those pretty dresses. The setting (museum/garden) was beautiful too. This was a wonderful watch!" ~CH Mom

"The Wedding Veil was family friendly. I was really enjoying it until Kevin threw in a truly terrible "Boston" accent part way through that made me cringe and it really stood out when nobody else from "Boston" used any accent at all. This will be a single watch for me based on that alone and the cast was made up of some of my favorites. Hoping for a better part 2 and 3." ~Anonymous

"I wanted to love The Wedding Veil, but I liked it (this installment anyway). I am a Bostonian and found Kevin McGarry's accent awful--like nails on a chalk board to me--Bostonians do not sound like that!! Advice to Kevin--next time, lose the accent. His mother did not have an accent nor did Lacey and it is better to keep it that way. Looking forward to the next two installments, but I wished that HM just used the month of February for this trilogy. Now must wait for Autumn (my personal favorite)." ~ Savvy Girl

"I loved the first of the trilogy of the Wedding Veil. It was very interesting. Can't wait to see the next two, then the Wedding Veil Unveiled and The Wedding Veil Legacy. Know they will all be enjoyable." ~ Bonnie English

"I just watched North to Home, and I am happy to report it is family friendly. It may not be right for younger kids, however, since the main storyline involves the death of the sisters' biological parents when they were children. I thought the movie was beautiful and the acting by all the ladies was fantastic. The themes of reconciliation and forgiveness were powerful, and I cried several times! The male actors weren't as good, and I felt little to no chemistry between any of the couples. However, this didn't bother me too much because the story was really about the sisters. I even felt a subtle pro life message in the oldest sister's storyline. Overall, this was a great movie!" ~melnewlife

"Kevin McGarry's Boston accent was great without being over-the-top! Okay. I'm picky. I was a bit disappointed at Avery's and Peter's exchange of vows which only lasted several seconds. The writers chose to omit holy with matrimony. There was no exchange of rings. I guess I'll keep the DVRd recording because I like both actors." ~Namegirl

"The Wedding Veil is family friendly. (review may contain spoilers) It’s based on the books called; “The Wedding Veil Wishes: There Goes the Bride”, by Lori Wilde. The Wedding Veil Trilogy starts with 3 actresses; Lacey Chabert, Autumn Reeser, & Alison Sweeney in open credits as they approach as special appearance in each movies. 3 college friends named Avery Morrison, Emma, & Tracy reunite in different cities every year to go antiquing & they find an enchanted, antique lace wedding veil with a heart & embroidery letter A with a legend—it is said that whoever possesses the veil will find their true love in San Francisco. They discover an extraordinary, antique lace wedding veil with a legend—it is said that whoever possesses the veil will find their true love. 3 friends agree to purchase the veil together & pass it along to each other to test whether or not the legend is true. Avery, an art curator, is the first to take possession and very soon after meets a handsome stranger named Peter. They spend a carefree day together at a local museum, they share some uncanny coincidences that have Avery wondering if it’s fate. I couldn’t stop laughing out loud because of Peter’s Boston accent is hilarious & Peter as Michael Copeland: When I think I’m out but they put him back in! Avery & Peter live in Boston. After discovering a long-lost painting, museum curator Avery & a new board member Peter investigate the artwork's origins as they plan to unveil it at a gala. When a misunderstanding leads Peter & Avery go their separate ways just as their romance is getting started. He gives her the cold–shoulder, Avery resolves to put him out of her mind…only for him to show up at her job back in Boston?Sonya introduces Avery to Peter when he behinds her. It turns out that Peter is from a very well–known wealthy philanthropic family & the newest board member & has just taken a seat on the museum’s board at the museum where she works. When Peter & Avery are uncover a long–lost painting from a 19th century Italian famous master painter & they’re asking Frederick about it & then have to work together on a gala to unveil the masterpiece, Peter works closely with Avery on a special gala to unveil its restoration? As the project brings them closer & they start to clear the air, they find the coincidences they share just might be the veil, working its magic. As they grow closer together, it seems the veil is working its magic. Avery talks with her friend; Emma about Peter by saying he’s nice, so funny, witty, charming, & very attractive. Peter introduces Avery to his Mom; Grace. Peter & Avery get married at the end of the movie. Even Lacey says Kevin is so funny & charismatic. Some guys have Boston accent but the ladies didn’t." ~Anonymous

"The Wedding Veil. Finally got around to watching this, and it was very lovely! :) Felt so good to finally watch a clean new movie Hallmark! Here's hoping the next 2 are just as clean!" -Maria

"Just watched the first Wedding Veil movie on the streaming site and thought it was delightful. Lacey and Kevin had great chemistry and the 3 best friends was so sweet. The only thing that bothered me was the mention of fate(which was quite offen). But overall, I really enjoyed it and can't wait the watch the other two films. Lacey looked so cute and feminine in all of those dresses. I was glad I watched it after your post Net." ~Abigail

"I loved this first movie in “The Wedding Veil” trilogy! Lacey Chabert’s character, Avery, is bright, intelligent, and hopeful! It was wonderful to see her connection with Peter Hastings (portrayed by Kevin McGarry) and her best friends, Emma and Tracy, played by Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney. Lacey also wore beautiful dresses in the movie, which was lovely to see! I especially enjoyed watching Peter squirm, as he thought Avery was engaged to someone else. Family friendly! A pure and simple delightful watch!" ~Net

'THE PERFECT PAIRING'
All-New Hallmark Original
Saturday, January 15 (8 p.m. ET/PT)

Starring: Nazneen Contractor, Brennan Elliott

Influential and anonymous food and wine critic Christina finds herself at a winery she panned in the past. She hopes to leave before anyone finds out who she is, but she instead slips on ice and hits her head. The Hollingbrook family, led by single father Michael graciously takes Christina in while she recovers and tries to jog her memory. In the process, Christina helps the Hollingbrooks prepare for their annual wine tapping party, which includes Michael's risky passion project, ice wine.

Movie Reviews:

"The Perfect Pairing is okay, though. I do have 1 major objection: In the scene where Christina is getting her luggage at the train station, there's a split second scene of a man walking by wearing a mask. It's 1 thing of Hallmark to try to sneak in bits of woke-ism, but bits of fear mongering in movies that are clearly supposed to be free of that? Just as bad." -Maria

"The Perfect Pairing is family friendly. A food & wine critic named Christina Joy “Chrissy” Osbourne who goes by her initials to remain anonymous as CJ Osbourne heads out of the city to a winter wine festival. When she arrives at the train station, there is a mix up that has her land at the very winery when she recently gave a scathing review, Hollingbrook Winery after she bumps her head & ends up losing her memory at Hollingbrook: Vineyard & Winery family owned & operated? Christina falls for a single Father & winemaker named Michael “Mike” Hollingbrook. Michael doesn't realize who she as he gives her a tour & before her cover is blown when she goes by her middle name Joy, she slips on the ice & hits her head, causing amnesia. Christina stays at at Hollingbrook: Vineyard & Winery family owned & operated. Michael brings Hollingbrook Winery brochures to the hotel or motel. The Hollingbrook family makes Ice wine is a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine in ice wine room. Eleanor Parks recognizes Christina Osbourne as CJ Osbourne when Chrissy regains her memories. Joy tells Diane that she regains her memories by saying her real name Christina Osbourne but Joy is her middle name as in Christina Joy Osbourne. Diane figures it out that Christina is CJ Osbourne. Kevin shows up to look for his girlfriend named Christina Osbourne under CJ Osbourne. Michael doesn’t even know CJ Osbourne was a woman. Christina, Brittany & Diane bake desserts. The Hollingbrook Family has ice wine tasting room but It’s a surprise when Christina, Brittany, & Diane bring desserts with ice wine bottles when Eleanor Parks arrives at Hollingbrook Winery. Christina tasted Hollingbrook Winery’s Merlot in which Michael is smiling." ~Anonymous

"The Perfect Pairing - To be honest, a movie centered around wine isn’t really my cup of tea, but I thought the story was fairly intriguing. Nanzeen Contractor was fun as Joy, especially after she slipped on an icy patch, hit her head, and lost her memory. Frankly, I thought she needed to be in the hospital, rather than hanging around a winery for a few days hoping her memory would return. But that’s just me. Anyway, I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but it’s family friendly, with a sweet, predictable happy ending." ~Net

Movie Reviews:

"Don't Forget I Love You is family friendly and a little different from the usual formula. While it has some comic aspects it deals with real like fears or phobias. Chemistry was good between the leads and Emillie Ullerup was great as always." ~Joyce in Carolina

"Don’t Forget I Love You - First, I kept wanting to schedule Emilie Ullerup a hair appointment to touch up her roots. She definitely needed a highlight. The story is interesting, however, with Emilie’s character going through tasks left to her by her deceased mother. Saturday, January 29 (8 p.m. ET/PT)

Starring: Stacey Farber, Corey Cott, Maxwell Caulfield

In a prestigious butler academy, passionate Emma and rebellious Henry train to become royal butlers where the competition is fierce and sparks fly.

Movie Reviews:

Butlers in Love is pretty good, and pretty funny. It's also clean, so no worries about anything uncomfortable. -Maria

"Butlers in Love is family friendly. Emma’ Conroy’s dream has been to become a butler when she was 10 years old while she’s watching Plumshire Mayor. When she gains entry to an elite butler academy called; “American Butler Academy”? Emma arrives in Maryland while riding in a yellow taxi with New York license plate instead of Maryland license plate at American ButlerAcademy & Emma finds herself in a world where teamwork is everything, even though she prefers to work alone. Emma believes her classmate, Henry Hawkins cops an attitude because he comes from a family of royal butlers. He acts like he doesn’t even want to be at the school. In reality, Henry doesn’t want to go into the family business of buttling. Instead, his dream is to become a chef. Charles Wiloughbt’s real British accent was refreshing. Henry is truly legacy Butler in his family business but he wants to be a chef, not a Butler. Henry trains Emma in Butler way with high tea & 5 course Dinner plus soup, cheese plate, & dessert. Emma is offer as underbutler at Kensington in Scotland & then she quits. Emma sees Henry & she stops the taxi. So, Emma as a royal Butler & Henry as a chef work at the hotel restaurant with other butlers." ~Anonymous

"I am happy to report that Butlers in Love is family friendly! I was on the fence, but I was so glad I watched, as it was family friendly, very original (I even looked up butler academies and they certainly exist!), and the leads were very sweet together. It was nice to see Maxwell Caufield, as well. Highly recommend!" ~Savvy Girl

"I am happy to report that Butlers in Love is family friendly! I was hesitant to watch it without reading a review first because with female butlers I worried there would be same sex content, but there wasn't. However, I can't say I enjoyed the movie. It was honestly boring, and the two leads in my opinion had no chemistry. At least it was clean though!" ~melnewlife

"Butlers in Love - Family friendly, but rather slow for me. The end seemed a little strange, too... a long-awaited dream is realized, but then that person decides to give it up. Very odd. If you enjoy British shows about royalty and the upper class, then you might enjoy this movie about their servants." ~Net

This seems like a great time for a family reunion, but the sisters are each wrestling with unique challenges that threaten to derail this special occasion. Will their bond be strong enough to survive this time together?

Movie Reviews:

"Watched North to Home last night. I enjoyed the emotion that it showed and it felt like the Hallmark of old. It deals with real life situations, especially ones that family’s face when distance and time separated are involved. Good cast and good chemistry. Will definitely watch again." ~JoCo

"North to home was family friendly!! It was very good and not as dramatic as I initially thought. Very heartwarming and definitely a tearjerker in parts. Cast was great and had amazing chemistry! Overall was very impressed with this weekends movies on hallmark!" ~Daniel Frye

"North to Home is family friendly & it’s based on the book called; “The Christmas Sisters”, by Susan Morgan. (Note: This review may contain Spoilers!) It’s emotional scenes to make you cry. Think your family has issues? Get a load of the secrets & resentments the McBrides are holding. Suzanne McBride is looking forward to celebrate her birthday with her 3 adopted Daughters: The McBride Sisters; Workaholic Hannah, Stay-at-Home Mom, Beth, & the youngest ones, Posy takes over her family restaurant are reuniting for the first time in years as family reunion. Posy’s life as a mountain climber when Posy is with Maxie the rescue dog to find hikers. She’s falling for a handsome new neighbor named Luke. Beth & posy watch family home video about their real parents & themselves when they were young ages. These issues threaten to undo Suzanne’s best-laid plans for her birthday party — and it doesn’t help that the family has “hidden resentments,” Happy 30 x 2 Susanne’s birthday cake. Hannah starts recognize Luke Whittaker the travel writer whose he’s staying at Guesthouse when she got a phone call from the accident about months ago so, also, Beth got a phone call too. Nobody rents a guesthouse to impose family stories to his. Even, Luke’s real last name is Palmer as in Luke Palmer. Suzanne mentions Luke’s parents’ named Cheryl & Brett Palmer. THE MCBRIDE SISTERS BOND TOGETHER TO DISCUSSION WHILE They’re DRINKING AT COLIN’S place to resolve the issues. Hannah’s pregnant, Beth’s was job offer for skin care. When Beth asks her Sister; Posy about Luke? Those ladies have flashbacks when The McBride Sisters read the book together “The Velveteen Rabbit” Book by Margery Williams and Suzanne & Stewart McBride with The McBride Sisters’ real parents on the snowy mountains. The McBride Sisters with Melly & Ruby to read the books. Posy, Beth, & Hannah’s real parents are with Suzanne & Stewart while Luke’s parents named Cheryl & Brett Palmer chose to go up there in the mountains until there’s avalanche in Denali since Posey, Hannah, & Beth’s real parents passed away. Suzanne & Stewart McBride adopted their 3 Daughters for Suzanne’s memorable birthday. Luke made a career writing travel guides that related to climbing but he decided that he wanted to shift gears & write about something different so, he sets out to write a survival book, not just for climbers that survived accidents, but for the people that were left behind by climbers that weren’t so lucky. After all, the research that he have done about that day, nothing points to anything other than a random act of nature. If there’s always signs. His parents chose to go up there that day as climbers, they know there are always risks but it seems to him like the best way to honor his parents is for Suzanne & Stewart to forgive themselves. Luke starts to pack them up. Posy has a chance to talk with Luke. Luke’s intention was to research the accident for the book, but everything changed including the mountains, Posy’s family. Luke lost his parents. Posy wanna go to Switzerland with Luke who she wants go on the adventures as Mountain climber on mountain peaks. The family & Luke celebrate Suzanne’s birthday is to open birthday gifts." ~Anonymous

"NORTH TO HOME Family friendly. This one was a tearjerker for sure! It was not as intense as I anticipated (from the trailer/preview), but it was still very emotional and touching. Loved the dynamic between the 3 sisters. It was realistic, because not all siblings are lovey-dovey like portrayed in most Hallmark movies. These sisters had issues and they were coming together for Mom's birthday and had no choice to face it. This was most definitely more family centric, than romance. I'm loving all these movies with multiple Hallmark actresses together like this one and Wedding Veil." ~CH Mom

"This film is deep and family friendly for a more mature audience. The death of one’s parents is discussed throughout the movie. I agree with other reviewers, the emotion in this movie is great and you truly feel the heart and connection of these three sisters. Wonderful acting. The story is sad, sometimes, as they reflect on the past, yet hopeful, too, as they look toward the future. I liked how, in the end, each sister was pursuing their dream." ~Net
