Hope you all enjoy the movies, marathons, & more airing this weekend! I think the new Hallmark movie, "It Was Always You," with Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes, looks really cute and funny; plus, the new UPtv movie, "Hint of Love," looks sweet; I always like the mystery marathons and these two, "Aurora Teagarden" and "Mystery 101" are my favorites; however, most of all, I'm looking forward to an all new episode of "When Calls the Heart!"
Are YOU looking forward to everything, too, or one movie or show in particular?
Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies listed above. Mystery movies are typically best for age 12 and up. After watching, if you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.
I’m really looking forward to It was Always You and of course, When Calls the Heart.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, Happy watching - hope they're both good! :)
DeleteThe Hallmark and UP movies look great. The UP movie does have some parallels with an old Hallmark movie, Recipe for Love. Nothing wrong with having a similar plot if it's a fresh story.

Denise, I think so, too... should be interesting to see how they are different!
DeleteDear Net, Speaking of mystery marathons, devoted fans of Signed, Sealed, Delivered (and newcomers alike) can look forward to a "March Mini-Marathon". Three of the most pivotal movies in the canon will be airing oh Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Monday evening, March 1st. POstables remain hopeful that we'll soon have an announcement of plans for the next movie in this wonderful and unique series. Thanks, Net,for all you do to "deliver" the updates on our favorite programs.📮
ReplyDeletee.t.m. I'm always excited about a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie marathon, even a mini one! I'll have a reminder on my site on Monday - be sure to look for it!
DeleteI'm also hopeful we'll hear some news soon - on a new movie!
Thank you for sharing the SSD love! Love your mailbox emoji!
What are your favorites Candace Cameron Bure Movies that you have seen either on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries or Hallmark Channel?
ReplyDeleteChris, That's a tough question. I like so many of Candace's Hallmark movies - from Christmas to "Aurora Teagarden." I guess some of my favorites would be:
DeleteChristmas movies...
Moonlight & Mistletoe
Let It Snow
A Christmas Detour
Switched for Christmas
Christmas Town
As for Aurora...
Aurora Teagarden Mystery: A Bone to Pick
Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery
Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery
Dead Over Heels: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery
Last Scene Alive: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery
A Game of Cat and Mouse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Very Foul Play
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Reunited and it Feels So Deadly
I would love to see Candace do an original Hallmark Channel movie through the year. It's been such a long time.
How about you, Chris? What are your favorite Candace Cameron Bure Movies???
My favorite Candace Cameron Bure Movies are Christmas Under Wraps and Christmas Town both of them that Candace Cameron Bure plays Lauren.I think that the last Hallmark Channel Original movies that Candace Cameron Bure played in is Puppy Love.
DeleteI always loved Aurora Teagarden
ReplyDeleteBOBo, Thank you for sharing! I Love those, too! :)
DeleteI just had to come back and say how fantastic “It Was Always You” was. Best Hallmark movie in a long time! Tyler Hynes and Erin Krakow were perfect together! And all of the supporting cast was great too.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, Thank you so much for stopping by to share your review on “It Was Always You!” I'm hearing good things, but I'm truly happy to hear how much YOU enjoyed it since I value your opinion.

ReplyDeleteChris, Those are excellent Candace Cameron Bure movies, too! Thank you for sharing! :)
DeleteI absolutely loved It Was Always You. One of the best Hallmark has done in a long time! It was a little off brand and definitely a different kind of story than they usually tell so it felt fresh and exciting and I actually wasn’t sure how it would end! Loved Erin and Tyler is my favorite male lead so of course he was amazing 😍 Definitely saving this one on my DVR! Also, family friendly FYI!
ReplyDeleteJ.F. Hale, Thanks so much for sharing this great review for "It Was Always You!" I added your review to my main post on the "Love Ever After" movies - here!
DeleteSo good to hear your take and how much you loved it and Erin & Tyler! :)
It Was Always You was great! It's funny, serious at times and best of all it's family friendly. Erin and Tyler have the "WOW" factor on chemistry. More chemistry than with Kevin or Chris on WCTH.
ReplyDeleteAgree with everyone else that this was a very good movie ' definitely one of Hallmark's best recently although I'm perhaps not just quite as overboard about it probably because I'm not a big fan of Erin Krakow (apart from Finding Father Christmas).
ReplyDeleteSeems that one of the main talking points was Erin's wig/ hairstyle! (whichever it was) - I wasn't a big fan of it but it wasn't THAT important and I did think Ms Krakow gave an excellent performance here.
Tyler Hynes is going from strength to strength - he always seems to mould himself into the part.
I do have to admit that I found his character somewhat irritating in the first part of the movie when he seemed to interfere in matters which he had no business to.
I found Giles Panton as Elizabeth's fiance very wooden although to some degree that was part of his character and surely if he had to be back on the island and the bridge was to be closed for 4 days he could have hired a boat or is this too simple?!
The script flowed nicely and I particularly enjoyed the scene where Elizabeth managed to climb up to the treehouse for the very first time
And then we come to the ending - David's declaration of love was wonderfully heartwarming and beautiful but what is it with Hallmark.
We got a few almost undecipherable murmurings from Elizabeth.
Surely she could just have said that 4 letter L word just once and left the fans happy?
Joyce and Anonymous, I so appreciate you both adding a review for "It was Always You." It's fun to see everyone's take. I'm looking forward to watching this one. Currently, I'm midway through Snowkissed. It's okay, so far, but I'm not sensing a great connection between Jen Lilley and Chris McNally. Maybe it will be more as the story progresses???
