Happy February 25th! Let's πŸŽ„Countdown to ChristmasπŸŽ„ Again - with Jill Wagner, Erin Krakow and More! 🌟 SEE HERE:

 πŸŽ„ Merry *Mark the 25th*! πŸŽ„

Happy February 25th, Everyone! Are YOU counting down to Christmas with us? Sure... it's a bit early for that, but if you've been following *It's a Wonderful Movie* for awhile then you know on each 25th day of the month we highlight the day as we Countdown to Christmas! February 25th marks 10 months until December 25th, Christmas day!

If you'd like to join along to celebrate the day - all you have to do is choose something Christmassy to watch TODAY! It can be a Christmas movie, cartoon, family sitcom or anything you like. (There's only one stipulation - it must be family friendly.) Then, please share in comments below your Christmas choice for the day!

Since Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is playing their weekly Christmas movie on the 25th and because I happen to love this Christmas movie, I am choosing my pick to *Mark the 25th"...

Starring: Jill Wagner and Lucas Bryant

Storyline via Hallmark: A writer (Jill Wagner) seeks the identity of the person who helps grant wishes that are placed upon the angel tree, and in the process, reconnects with her childhood friend (Lucas Bryant).

My Review of "The Angel Tree":
There is something so pure and inspiring about this delightful story of giving. Immediately you find yourself caught up in the mystery of who the unidentified "angel" could be - who delivers gifts and grants wishes to their community each Christmas, based on the wishes placed at the town's outdoor Angel Tree. I personally loved the connection Jill Wagner and Lucas Bryant shared, they easily flowed together on screen and appeared to be friends from long ago, just like their characters - Rebecca McBride and Matthew Anderson. I loved Matthew's coffee shop, and the fact that his nephew, Owen, helped him out there. It was also sweet that Owen was staying with his Uncle as his mother was serving in the military. Throughout the movie, it was clever how Matthew and Owen kept coming up with cute names for various coffee flavors, but best of all... it was most fun to watch Rebecca (Jill Wagner) try to figure out who Angel is - so she can write an important article. I loved the magic, mystery, and wonder of it all!

Starring: Erin Krakow and Luke MacFarlane

Storyline via Hallmark: The film centers on Christmas enthusiast party planners Ella (Erin Krakow) and her sister, Marianne, who clash with their client, Edward (Luke MacFarlane), who is a not-so-jolly toy company CEO.

  3. Yep, I'll be watching The Angel Tree too - Jill Wagner is one of my favorite Hallmark actresses as well! In fact, I'm thinking afterwards I just might watch Maggie's Christmas Miracle (my favorite of her Christmas movies, although it is hard to choose) and make it a double-feature tonight!

  4. I'm very much a minority on this.

Since Jill Wagner is my #1 favourite Hallmark actress and I've been a big fan of Lucas Bryant since he played the oh-so-laid-back Tom Novak in Tulips In Spring on paper this should have been my #1 Christmas movie.

I just couldn't get into it at all, felt it was slow moving and pretty obvious from the start who "Angel" was.

  5. I have to wait until next year to watch this again or I'll be the weird one...

  6. Ugh!! I completely did NOT realize today was the 25th!! I really wanted to watch The Angel Tree again. I love the lead actors and I liked this movie back in December, yet it wasn't a "keeper" movie for me and I don't remember why. I wanted to watch it again just to see if maybe I might like it better this time. Unfortunately, I did not log on to this site early enough and now I've missed the first hour of the movie... ugh. Oh well, hopefully I'll catch it next time.
