Just wanted to quickly share the new poster released today for the next "Ainsley Mystery"!

"Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Yarn Maker," starring Candace Cameron Bure, will be streaming ONLY on Great American Pure Flix - beginning May 22nd! No word, yet, on when the new mystery will air on Great American Family.

Also starring in "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Yarn Maker" with Candace Cameron Bure are Aaron Ashmore, Robin Dunne, and his real-life wife, Farrah Aviva. In addition to starring in this film, Robin Dunne also wrote the screenplay for this upcoming mystery.

And now for the Easter egg... hidden in plain sight! In the promo there's a screenshot of Actress Kristina Cole Geddes, who you may recognize from her previous Great American Family movies Christmas in Pine Valley and Romantic Rewrite.

After a quick search, I discovered this image is from the movie, The Wedding Arrangement, which is a Reel One Entertainment film from 2021. Have any of you seen it? It can currently be streamed through Peacock.

Kristina's costar is Cody Griffis. I checked his IMDB, but I didn't recognize any of his previous work.

I personally keep hoping GAF will add the ROE movie Meet Me in New York, starring Corey Sevier and Brooke Nevin, to their channel line-up. I've seen this movie 3 or 4 times via streaming, and I think it would be a fantastic fit for them. It's such a fun, delightful rom-com. Plus, the leads are well-known and well-liked. I can't believe one of the networks hasn't snatched it up already!

Abbott explained that last year's merger combined Great American Media's linear and FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channels with the Pure Flix faith and family SVOD (subscription video on demand) service.

The merger enhanced both platforms' content library and created synergies between cable and streaming services, meeting customer expectations for a fulfilling, uplifting, and inspiring entertainment experience. Since the merger, SVOD subscriptions have increased and the customer experience has been enhanced through several platform upgrades, making the streaming service intuitive and user-friendly.

Meanwhile, Great American Media has signed new talent agreements with some of entertainment's most iconic stars. In January, Great American (Media) kicked off the year by announcing that Mario Lopez would join the network in a multi-year, multi-picture deal, followed by the premiere of Alexa and Carlos PenaVega's first original film for Great American, Mr. Manhattan. The PenaVegas also will appear on screen in another Great American Media original production Love At The Kettle (wt), produced by Lopez about a couple serving others.

Great American Pure Flix recently announced a milestone among comparative streamers its size – its fourth Original Series in 2024. I'm personally thrilled, as a mystery movie lover and fan of CCB, that we now have an official premiere date for her new mystery on Great American Family! Plus, it's likely that one of Candace's Christmas movies will premiere Thanksgiving weekend, so that means we'll have new movies starring Candace back to back - one in October and another in November!

Candace Cameron Bure Shares Upcoming Filming News With Great American Family, Why She Left Hallmark, Christmas and More ➤➤

Last night, Candace Cameron Bure did a special Q&A with her Instagram followers and revealed some exciting news—she will have several movie projects coming up with Great American Family!

In the first (film-related) question, someone asked: "Are you working on any new projects?"

Candace responded with, "Yes!! I have mystery movies coming out in the Fall on Great American Family Channel called The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries."

I couldn't help from noticing she said MOVIES, which must mean the network will be airing at least two of these new Ainsley McGregor mysteries this Fall!!

Also, to the same question, "Are you working on any new projects?", Candace posted this response, "I also have a new Christmas movie premiering in November on Great American Family Channel called A Christmas Less Traveled.

Of course, we are already aware of this Christmas movie project—since GFAM officially announced it in a press release on April 17th. I still couldn't resist resharing her Christmas movie news!

In another question, someone asked, "Why did you leave Hallmark?"

Candace's response was thoughtful and I hope it enlightens those who have been wondering... "It wasn't so much leaving as it was about an opportunity to grow a new network that puts faith and family at the forefront of its content. I'm very proud of the work I did at Hallmark for 15 years and love all my friends there 😊.

Again, to the same question, "Are you working on any new projects?", Candace shared another response, "Also prepping to shoot two more films for Great American Family Channel in the Summer."

Wow! That is great news! We can only guess, at this point, what these "two more films for Great American Family" might be! Could both be more Ainsley McGregor mysteries, a second Christmas movie, or perhaps, a romantic comedy? Candace has yet to do a romantic comedy for the network, outside of the Christmas movie season.
