My movie picks for the day on UPtv...
*Note: Initially, when I first heard about "Vision of Love," I was concerned that the manicurist was also posing as a psychic, but if you watch the movie, she's really not. It's actually just a woman making things up and pretending to know the future. Basically... she just predicts everyone will fall in love - giving them the courage to take a leap of faith and do so.

My movie picks for the day on INSP...
*Please note: Both movies include some gun violence. "Legal Action" stars Eric Close ("A Christmas Love Story") and "The Legend of 5 Mile Cave" stars Jill Wagner ("Mystery 101")!

My movie picks for the day on UPtv...
*Please Note: I have not pre-screened "Same Time Next Week;" however, since it originally premiered on PixL, I anticipate it to be family-friendly. The movie stars Jewel Staite ("Call Me Mrs. Miracle") and Travis Milne ("A Gift Wrapped Christmas"). Click here for movie details!

My movie picks for the day on the Hallmark Channel...
*Caution: "Hello, It's Me," starring Kellie Martin and Kavan Smith is premiering for the first time on the Hallmark Channel. The story is about Kellie's deceased husband who contacts her through her cellphone, from beyond, after he passes away. The slowly developing love story with Kellie and Kavan is sweet and interesting, but the scenes where her husband contacts her (after he's dead) are rather creepy and weird. I personally just couldn't get into this Hallmark movie. Also, this is one I would definitely NOT recommend for young viewers.
With the virus, I know it's not easy for grandchildren to visit grandparents right now, but if you still have your Grandma or Grandpa, please be sure to reach out, call, or plan some socially distant activity. I will be cherishing and remembering many precious memories of mine on this holiday... how I wish I could call or visit - one more time.
I hope you enjoy your day and the weekend. We had the strangest thing happen last night. We watched only the first 30 minutes of When Calls the Heart and then the channel went off the air. That was weird. We kept checking back and it didn't come back on during the movie. The channel is back today though so I'll look for these movies! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDiane, Oh no... that's not good. Wonder what the issue was? I wasn't able to catch it last night because I had a family event, but I checked social media and it seems like many viewers had the same black screen or freezing picture problems. Some of the Hearties are asking Hallmark to replay it because of this. Hope they plan to do that, as I'm sure it was quite frustrating & disappointing for you and others who had these same issues.
DeleteUPtv really does make a lot of great movies.
ReplyDeleteI love Advance And Retreat - it's fun and heartwarming and Hallmark ought to take note - they know how to make a proper ending!
I agree! UPtv has been playing lots of wonderful movies lately. Some are from the PixL library of films, like the one you mentioned, "Advance And Retreat," which I also thought was a fun one!
DeleteThey also play some classic Hallmark movies and Faith Based films, too, so... yeah, they play a lot of good ones. Glad you are enjoying the movies they play, too! :)
