I know many of us miss the glow and warmth of Christmas once the season draws to a close, but we can keep that same spirit in our hearts and with Hallmark, once again, it never really ends!
Join Hallmark Drama every Wednesday night, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Thursday nights, and the Hallmark Channel on Friday nights - all throughout the year (as the promo "currently" says) for classic Christmas movies!
Here's what you can look forward to this week...
The first Hallmark Drama Christmas movie (after Christmas) is "The Christmas Heart" on Wednesday, January 8th at 9pm/8c..
Airing just before that, is another heartwarming, touching movie, "The Color of Rain," at 7pm/6c., which is Christmassy at the very end of the movie. Stars Lacey Chabert and Warren Christie. (See my review - here.)

*I am so excited to have the Christmas movies playing on Hallmark Drama this year. I only have seen bits and pieces of The Christmas Heart, and when I saw they were playing it in January, I purposely didn't watch it all so I could watch it tonight. I also avoided November Christmas knowing they are playing it on Jan 22nd. I haven't ever seen Christmas with Tucker either which is next week. Super excited to have Northpole playing in Feb on Hallmark Drama Christmas Wednesdays. I hope March will bring Farewell Mr Kringle, The Christmas Blessing, and Help for the Holidays.
ReplyDeleteHey Sabrina! That was such a good idea... leaving some of the classics to watch later. Thank goodness they didn't change the schedule. I hope you enjoyed "The Christmas Heart." I have seen it, so I know it's a heartwarming story. "The Color of Rain" is also very touching and well, heartbreaking, too. I love that they do the true Christmas story at the end of the movie. That is very rare to see these days.
DeleteAnd... "Christmas with Tucker" is such a good movie. You'll absolutely fall in love with the boy and dog... guaranteed!... and that's all I'm saying. Enjoy!!!
Happy Christmas movie watching, again!!!
You'll love Christmas with Tucker that's a good movie... @SuperChannel.ca

I love that Dayspring is doing these special presentations of inspirational classics! This is such a wonderful addition to the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries network!
DeleteI will not be watching then. Hallmark has officially burned me out on Christmas. It used to be special but not any more.
ReplyDeleteLUV LUV HALLMARK MOVIES NOW ALL YEAR ROUND !
ReplyDeleteI do not support having
ReplyDeleteChristmas programs during other part of the year. It seems stupid esp with the Hallmark movies are so repetative.i.e. there is a tendency to use the same actors
We enjoy Christmas movies all year long.πππ π
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this
ReplyDeleteI love the hallmark christmas movies
ReplyDeleteWow. Sounds so exciting. My husband + I love Christmas with Hallmark movies. Come Dec - 2020 what will we be watching?. Please leave Christmas movies for Dec.
ReplyDeleteSusan
I used to like hallmark mysteries movies but enough of christmas shows
ReplyDeleteIf it continues I will cancel all hallmark!
That is so sad. I love the Hallmark family. They Havre become like my own family. It's such a refreshing change to all the junk that is on other channels. I esp love the Home and Family program every day. I watch it and record all of them.
DeleteLove watching year round. Not much else worth watching on tv.
ReplyDeleteDear Jim, You know I will be praying for you, my friend, and lifting you up. I know Christmas remains in our hearts all year long!
ReplyDeleteEven though the world dims their Christmas lights for a little while, the true Light of the world, JESUS, is still with us!
I find personal encouragement in my devotional reading, and I love many of the ones Crosswalk.com offers. They have lots of wonderful devotions and uplifting messages that are absolutely free, and you can have them emailed to you each day. You can choose from the long list - here.
Two that I've really enjoyed are:
Joy of My Heart - with Anne Graham Lotz
and the New Year's Devotional from - From the Heart Ministries.
I pray one of these devotions will touch your heart, too - and then you'll receive a daily dose of inspiration in your inbox!
I'm so glad my Christmas post above boosted your spirit!
God's Blessings to you always! Net
Dear Unknown I'm sorry that you feel that way! Christmas stands for "Peace on earth, goodwill towards all men" and I feel we need a reminder of it all great long. And I love the actors they have become like family to me!
ReplyDeleteI understand what some of the viewers are saying. Christmas just ended and Christmas movies have been airing since October. Now I love a good Christmas movie as much as the next person, I even have the T-shirt, but Christmas movies on three channels? That's a little overkill. I'm ready for the mysteries, the winterfest and the Valentine's. I say bring Christmas back in July if anything. It's too soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas movies!! I'm so happy they play all year.
ReplyDeleteHey, it's Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year, and Hallmark gives us an extended period of time to explore it's magic. What else could ask for?
ReplyDeleteOh my, Jim, that is so beautiful; I hardly know what to say. You are such a dear friend here to me and all who visit here. I’m sure if we met, I would see the light of Jesus in You, too, shining right back!!!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You!!!
Jim, I just prayed for you. I hope things get better soon. I have been very down the last couple of months myself but am pulling out of it. Keep the faith.

Much Ado About Christmas by Elizabeth Davis
Christmas in Transylvania
In the cobbled old town of Sibiu, an ancient Transylvanian city in the heart of Romania, a small Christmas market is in full swing, with the sweet scent of mulled wine filling the air and a tall spruce, a tiny ice rink and children’s attractions spreading the holiday spirit.
13. Tchaikovsky - Christmas waltz
Vivaldi's wasn't the only composer to write about the Four Seasons - Tchaikovsky gave it a go as well. His seasons actually contain a dainty little Christmas waltz, a delightful little nod to the festive season.
Thank you for sharing these three new Christmas movies here with us! I was so excited to learn of this news over the weekend. I created a new post for it - *HERE*! It's always exciting to learn about new Christmas movies in January!!! :)
DeleteDear, sweet Jim, go to your prayer closet, a quiet private place where you can go and ask our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ to come into your heart. Ask Him to bring you peace and calm and to protect you from the antics of the evil one! Remember, the Lord said if any two or more of you stand in agreement in prayer, it shall be done...and Jim, you have every believer on this site standing with you! Peace and love to you!
ReplyDeleteNet, wanted to let you know I found my off the shoulder sweater at H&M !!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to more Christmas! I miss it especially in the morning before work ! I’d rather watch Christmas movies than I love Lucy or murder mystery! Not to mention the depressing morning news! I do watch Joyce Meyer for uplifting and spiritual support!
