ET has announced FOUR more Hallmark Christmas films for the 2018 Holiday Season…
Memories of Christmas - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Starring: Christina Milian and Mark Taylor
Storyline via ET: “Milian will play Noelle, who was raised by the queen of Christmas. When she inherits her late mother's house, she finds out that her mother had been hiring someone to decorate it, Dave (Mark Taylor). The deal is off, but Dave convinces Noelle to let him carry on the tradition. As the display goes up, Noelle’s defenses start to come down. She embraces the town’s Christmas Gala that was her mother’s legacy, finds unexpected love, and develops a joy for the holidays that she never thought possible.”
A Majestic Christmas - Hallmark Channel
Starring: Jerrika Hinton and Christian Vincent
Storyline via ET: Hinton will be “playing Nell, an architect who goes back to her hometown after being tasked with turning her hometown's historic playhouse, which has been home to the annual Christmas tableaux, into a modern multiplex, much to the resident's objections. When she meets the new owner of the theater, Connor (Vincent), his vision and ideas clash with Nell’s. Since Connor hasn’t had much experience celebrating Christmas, Nell hopes that if she can give him a crash course in Christmas during the town’s Twelve Day Festival, that he might just change his mind about modernizing the Majestic.”
Hope at Christmas (wt) - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Starring: Ryan Paevey and Scottie Thompson
Storyline via ET: "Recently divorced, Sydney (Thompson) decides to spend Christmas in a house she inherited with her daughter. As Sydney begins to spend more time at the local bookstore, she meets a teacher, Mac (Paevey), who also fills in for the town Santa. Mac tries to make Christmas wishes come true, and this year Sydney is at the top of his 'nice' list. As a new opportunity with the bookstore unfolds, Mac helps Sydney open herself up to life, love and believing in the spirit of Christmas again."
A Soldier's Christmas - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Starring: Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris
(They also starred together in the 2012 Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movie, “Christmas with Holly.”)
Storyline via ET: “Mumford plays Captain Grace Garland, a decorated U.S. veteran who returns home after two tours of Search and Rescue in Afghanistan. When Grace finds herself stranded in the town of River’s Crossing a couple weeks before Christmas, the local judge Joe Peterson (Faris), offers her a place to stay on his property and takes it upon himself to show Grace everything she has been missing; Christmas, family, community and love.”

Looks like four more wonderful Christmas movies to add to our lists!
Does one movie in particular sound most intriguing to you? I'm thinking "A Soldier's Christmas," which reunites Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris, sounds especially nice and patriotic. Please share your thoughts in comments below.
I'm ecstatic to see Mumford and Faris paired again for a Christmas movie. Christmas with Holly is one of my all time favorites!
ReplyDeleteSAME! I cannot wait, Brittaney.
DeleteBrittaney & Rissi,
DeleteSo agree! "Christmas with Holly" is such a charming film favorite! Those two together were magic the first time around... this is going to be so good! :)
A Soldier's Christmas for sure! Love the military themed movies. Helps to remind us of the sacrifices our military and their families make to keep us safe!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update Net!!
Perfectly said, Joyce! I, too, love all the films that honor our service men and women. This is the first Hallmark film, I believe, which predominantly shows a woman in that role.
DeleteYes, I think you're right. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they were featuring a female solider. They are too often get overlooked.
DeleteBlessings to you Net!
A Soliders Christmas and Hope at Christmas. So glad to see Ryan Paevey in Hallmark movies again..Sounds like another A plus Christmas from Hallmark
ReplyDeleteYes, those both sound so good! Love all the casting! :)
DeleteYay! Thanks for the update. Do you know how many are yet to be announced?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Misty
Misty, Excellent question! I believe it was 8-10 Christmas movies, last time I looked, that haven't been officially announced, yet. I'm sure more news is soon to come! :)
DeleteI'm SO excited that Faris and Mumford will be again paired up - this is so fun. Also, glad to see Scottie Thompson join the Hallmark team, and seeing she's paired with one of my favorite Hallmark leading men, I think I'll like this one! :)
ReplyDeleteRissi - Me too! Both of this pairings sound fantastic! We already know Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris will we fabulous, plus I can imagine how great Ryan Paevey & Scottie Thompson will be! It wasn't technically a Hallmark Original Movie, but I loved when Hallmark Movies & Mysteries played the Christmas mystery movie Scottie Thompson did for TNT, called "Deck the Halls." That's a super fun holiday movie! I would love to see Hallmark bring it back this Christmas season!
DeleteThank you for sharing! :)
Scottie Thompson was also in another Hallmark movie, that aired on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries years ago, and it's now on the streaming service Hallmark Movies Now, it's titled Lake Effects, one of my favorites. It also co-stars Richard Moll, Jane Seymour, Madeline Zima and Jeff Fahey.
DeleteOh yeah, thank you for mentioning this, Jill. I haven't seen that movie for years.
DeleteI'm sure it's going to be good to see Scottie back on Hallmark! :)
Jim, Oh, YES I do hear those sleigh bells ringing, faintly in the distance. Sometimes, the sound gets louder, when Christmas news arrives, and then it gets softer again.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're joining along on this ride - as we anticipate all the magnificent adventures to come! You make it all SNOW Much FUN!
The Christmas door is always open here, and welcoming dear friends like You!!! :)
I love seeing that Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris are in a another movie together, and I can't wait to watch.
ReplyDeleteLol! You words lift my heart, Jim!! Thanks!!
ReplyDelete"Snow Much Fun", Oh, how cute!! Needed that too, Net!!
