PLOT:
Storyline via Hallmark:
An earnest young policeman believes a local woman has been wrongly convicted of murder and turns to defense attorney Claire Darrow and D.A. Miles Strasberg for help. Laura Graham has steadfastly denied killing her husband Tom, but was unable to rebut the powerful evidence tying her to the crime. That evidence, however, did not include a corpse: Tom’s body was never found. As Claire and Miles’ investigation leads them down unexpected paths, Claire is increasingly certain of Laura’s innocence - and not at all certain that a murder even took place.

I love Darrow & Darrow. Great to see them return. Thanks for the Update Net.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Joe! There is something wonderful and unique about this mystery series + they have such a great cast!
DeleteGlad you enjoyed this update. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
I first fell in love with Signed, Sealed, Delivered when I discovered the episode of "Higher Ground". All of the stories are truly inspiring, and it would be difficult to pick one as my absolute favorite. The entire series has had such a profound impact on me, but because "Higher Ground" was my introduction to SSD, it does have a very special place in my heart. I'm so grateful that the DVD's are available. However, I sincerely hope that the powers that be at Hallmark will recognize what a unique gem they have in SSD and renew this wonderful series.
ReplyDeleteThankfully, since the time this comment ^ was written, we have learned there is another SSD movie to come, this time on Hallmark Drama! This is the second time this series has been moved to a new network. Hopefully, ratings will be great and there will be more SSD movies and other heartfelt drama premieres to follow! :)
DeleteAre any more Darrow and Darrows planned? Also, is Hallmark ever going to do a mystery movie featuring a pet shop? Animal lovers would like that!
ReplyDeleteExcellent question, Rocco, in regard to Darrow & Darrow. Thus far, I have heard- they have been in "talks" regarding future movies, but that's all I know. I'm sure it will depend on how busy the main cast is with other projects. Let's hope they bring it back. We've all been waiting for Claire and Miles to fall in love, and although, they've been getting there, we need more!
DeleteAlso, love your kitty in your profile image and the idea of a pet mystery! I always loved when Hannah's cat was in any scene in "Murder She Baked!"
