Story-line via UPtv: When Rose, a passionate fashion stylist in her 30’s living in New York, inherits her grandmother’s vintage dress shop, she returns to her small hometown to take care of the store. As she’s contemplating closing the store for good, she runs into her charming high school crush, Cole Murphy, who convinces her to restore the store and help people in need that can’t afford new clothes. After hesitantly agreeing, the two friends reminisce about their old feelings, and realize that the store is not the only that deserves a second chance, but so does their love.

💗 "I've already seen Love On The Road and can confirm it is definitely family-friendly. Remember that a review is only a personal point of view. The plot is similar to that which we have seen many times before and certain aspects were not really to my personal taste - I found this pretty slow-moving. I'm not a big fan of Erin Cahill and while I generally enjoy Jeese Hutch (who has been pretty active recently) He didn't seem to have his usual spark. While it's just not my cup of tea I do think that others here might probably enjoy this." Florence's rating 4.5

On a different subject, I watched an old movie on UP with Trevor Donovan that I found to be a keeper. I think it is Runaway Romance. If I can find it on Amazon, I will buy this DVD. I know it's hard to transition from the Christmas movies, but are you looking forward to watching these new movies on UPtv in the new year? I personally think the storyline in "Love's Second Chance" sounds heartwarming, with the vintage dress shop and helping people in need that can’t afford new clothes. Plus, the others look possibly good, too!

The photo on IMDB has Hallmark's name displayed.
Love On The Road seems to have been aired elsewhere before since over 200 people have given it a rating on IMDB.
I have amazing news!! My family are practically jumping up and down right now praising God. My dad had his heart test early and 53% of it works. They say 50% or more is normal.

DeleteMy devotional this morning was in Revelation where John spoke of the golden bowls filled with prayers from the saints of God. Abigail, I have always thought of our prayers going into a great big basket, and when someone( like your dad) needs prayers, God reaches in and takes one out of your dad's basket and applies it to his needs, until his needs are met. Reading about the golden bowls of prayers assures me I am not far off. There will be more prayers added to your dad's bowl from me. God is faithful.

DeleteNet, I wish you could have heard my dad's prayer. We were praying as a family in a circle the night before his heart test. It was the most beautiful I have ever heard and it made my cry. He prayed not for himself, but for us, that the Lord would let him continue to have a long life so he could care, provide, and be there for us and my mom and a spiritual leader as well. He also mentioned being there as our family continues to grow.

It's also great to see Brittany Bristow, who will be starring in "The Story of Love"! She's always a joy to watch! Plus, Brittany's supposed to have a new movie this spring on the Hallmark Channel!
Also, "Listen Out for Love" is a Reel One Entertainment movie. I believe it's a new addition. Love seeing Stephanie Bennett will star in this one, who we all know as the sweet sister from "The Nine Lives (Kittens) of Christmas"!
