Since it's Super Bowl weekend, Hallmark will not be premiering any new programming on Sunday night, but UPtv will have their new movie premiere on Sunday evening for those who aren't necessarily interested in the game. The Hallmark Channel will still have a Saturday night movie premiere and their annual, adorable Kitten Bowl VIII on Sunday afternoon. They usually give us an instant replay of this show, but this year there is only one showing starting at 2pm/1c. See all of the details on the new movies, marathons, and more below!
Saturday, February 6, 2021:
Andrew Walker is certainly a fan favorite for Hallmark movie viewers and these three movies are some of his finest work on the network. These three rom-com movies are all quite fun and family friendly!
Saturday, February 6, 2021:
It's one "stirring mystery" after another with the...
A HEALTHY PLACE TO DIE - 4 PM
DEATH AL DENTE - 6 PM
EAT, DRINK AND BE BURIED - 8 PM
A GOURMET DETECTIVE MYSTERY - 10 PM
Having a marathon of these mysteries, starring Dylan Neal and Brooke Burns, is a delicious treat!

Brooke D'Orsay and Brendan Penny star in the first "Love Ever After" movie for 2021...
Story-line via Hallmark: A meddling woman wins her sister an all-paid-for Beverly Hills Wedding, but is disappointed to learn her ex will be invited along to help plan.
Please Note: I have not pre-screened this movie; however, I wanted to be certain to caution that it appears the wedding planner in "Beverly Hills Wedding" may be gay based on promotional pictures and commercials. If this is true, please know this is not something I promote. Stay tuned for details.
UPDATE: The Wedding Planner in "Beverly Hills Wedding" is involved in a same sex relationship. We are introduced to his husband about an hour and a half into the movie. Due to that storyline this movie is not family friendly.
Sunday, February 7, 2021:
"Tail" all your friends to watch...
De"tails" via Hallmark: Hallmark Channel hosts the nation’s most beloved rescue pet adoption event of the year when “Kitten Bowl VIII” premieres exclusively on Sunday, February 7, 2021. TV personality, author and animal advocate Beth Stern returns as host for this year’s event from Hallmark Channel Stadium alongside Cameron Mathison and Tamera Mowry-Housley from Home & Family.

Can love be as sweet the second time around in...
Story-line via UPtv: The owner of a second-hand wedding dress business breathes new life into used dresses, making dreams come true for brides unable to afford pricey gowns. But when she meets the perfect guy, she’s afraid to give her own heart a second chance at love.
Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.
Hope you all stay warm and enjoy the movies - Saturday and Sunday. We ended up getting nearly 8 inches of snow last weekend and more throughout the week. And, more is on the way this weekend, plus freezing cold temps in the single digits. Brrrr! I'm definitely going to stay in and watch movies this weekend; however, I'm feeling very hesitant about Beverly Hills Wedding, so we'll see there. The Kitten Bowl is typically very cute, and as cat lover, it's something I never miss, even if it's a bit cheesy.
I'm also looking forward to the new UPtv movie, Made for You, With Love. The story of a seamstress restoring vintage wedding dresses and possibly mending her own heart, too, sounds very sweet!
Blessings, Net π

ReplyDeleteIt sure is... Happy Sleuthing! π
DeleteSo happy to have an Andrew Walker Binge Watch. He is my favorite Hallmark actor. This gives me a chance to DVR two of them. The other one I did a couple of weeks ago. . I had finally put all of his Movies on DVR and three weeks ago I had to have my old Spectrum DVR replaced because everything quit working. Lost them all. Keep the reruns coming. Thank you for your wonderful site. Blessings to you to Net.
ReplyDeleteJAO, So glad I could help you recover some of the old Hallmark movies you've lost. That's awful your Spectrum DVR unexpectedly went out on you. I totally understand - I've been there. To put it plainly, it stinks. I sure hope you can get back all the movies you love best!
DeleteBlessings to you!!! :)
I quite like Brendon Zub and would like to see him in a leading role on Hallmark.
ReplyDeleteThe trailer for Sweet Autumn didn't look too promising but in the event it was a great movie.
Love the movie marathon today.

I have zero interest in the game. Thanks for the tip on the Up movie, it sounds cute.
ReplyDeleteWe always watch the kitten bowl too. Guess they decided not to continue the cat bowl. The kittens are cute, if only they’d let us just watch them and cut out the mostly lame commentary. Some of it is okay, but 2 hours of cat puns is overkill.
ReplyDeleteAnd why aren’t they repeating this later on like they used to do? Who wants to watch Golden Girls repeats all day long? GG isn’t for family.
Yeah I think the wedding planner is gay too. Was it implied? Or did they actually show him with someone?
ReplyDeleteWhen the couple getting married, the maid of honor and best man visited the wedding planners home a man opened the door and called him his husband. I don’t know if any thing else happened after that because I turned it. I couldn’t stand the story anyway.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing your review. I shared your comment on my Love Ever After movie page. By the way, I turned it, too.
DeleteDid not get to watch Andrew yesterday because we went up to our farm to ride ATV's. I did watch a movie Friday night on UP that was very good "Love Never Fails". Surprised I had not seen this before. Brought tears to my eyes!
ReplyDeletekitkat, How fun! I've ridden on those before, too, around our farm. The guys always tried to find a mud pile to spin in.
DeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed "Love Never Fails." Isn't that one so sweet? I wish they made more like it. You can really feel the emotion in that movie, and that little girl is such an amazing actress.
For anyone else interested, I looked to see if HMM would be playing it again soon, but currently, there are no times listed. Plus, I just checked and the DVD is sold out, but you can stream it - through Amazon Prime Video if that option works for any of you.
It's been awhile since I've seen it, kitkat. You inspired me - I'm going to watch it again! :)
Net, when the little girl was talking to her mom, the tears flowed. I could feel her pain. Some of the best acting by this child I have ever seen! I will keep looking for this on DVD.
DeleteAs for ATV's, my husband loves to ride through places on the trails that are covered in water. I refuse to follow him through those. It was so good to be out in the fresh air away from the city.
Kitkat, I found the DVD at Amazon! I'm sure it was sold out or not available just the other day.
DeleteI also looked up the old post I have for this sweet movie - "Love Never Fails," and I discovered I wrote a review for it back in 2011 (10 years ago!). If you'd like to see it, click here:
https://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2011/01/valentines-date-hallmark-channel-movie.html
I also included Pastor Frank's (John Schneider) Marriage Sermon.
As for the amazing little girl, have you ever seen "A Christmas Wish" starring Kristy Swanson (also known as: "A Root Beer Christmas")? The little girl, Kirstin Dorn, plays her daughter in that and she is absolutely adorable - even tells the real meaning of Christmas! I have a post on that movie - here.
Well, I hope I haven't overloaded you with too many links - so sorry!
Have a blessed day! :)
Thanks Net! I will definitely order the DVD today. I will also read your review etc.
DeleteDid not know about "A Christmas Wish" but will look for that DVD also. Do you happen to know if it is available?
Sending blessings to you also! Thanks so much Net!
One more question Net. Is the entire sermon included on the DVD? That sermon was beautiful! You have made my day Net! Just ordered the DVD. They only have a few left.
Deletekitkat, I'm sure the sermon must be on the DVD, too. I just loved it and had to share it back when I wrote that review many years agao. Glad they still had the DVD of "Love Never Fails" for you.
DeleteAnd... by the way, "A Christmas Wish" is currently available on DVD, too! Amazon says they have 3 left. Here's a direct link, if you'd like to take a look at it:
https://amzn.to/3ped7NF
I have to say again - it is such a beautiful story!
I won't get to see it for a week or two but Beverly Hills Wedding is getting some of the worst reviews ever for a Hallmark movie.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm not surprised by the reaction to "Beverly Hills Wedding." I really did not enjoy the part I watched. You can see my review - here.

Next Sunday & Monday
"Made For You With Love" was a sweet movie, but I must say I got a little bit irritated with the girl's attitude at times. Won't say anymore because many have not watched yet. Did love her designs!
ReplyDeletekitkat, Thanks so much for sharing this review. (I posted it on my UP movie page for February.) Glad to hear it is a sweet movie. I recorded it because some in the family wanted to watch a little of the game.
DeleteI did catch "Beverly Hills Wedding" on Saturday night and frankly, I wish I had skipped it. I posted my review on my Love Ever After movie page. Spoiler alert - it was a big disappointment for me personally.
That whole storyline just didn't interest me in the first place. I wouldn't want a wedding in Beverly Hills anyway. Is it as a tourist destination like in the past?
ReplyDeleteMisty
Saw some of the kitten bowl, the black and tuxedo cats are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI just commented last week on how I love Monk being played in the AM's before work, and once again they switched the schedule to Little house on the prairie and monk back in afternoons. Is it not enough they play Little House on HM drama all day? why does the schedule change almost weekly?
Beverly Hills Wedding was one of the worst Hallmark movies I have ever seen. Even with out the gay couple I did not like this movie. Almost turned it off but kept thinking Brook'e character would improve, and it did. About 15 minutes before the end. I will not watch it again. And I love Brooke D'Orsay. So disappointing! Side note: Brendan Penny was great!
ReplyDeleteBeverly Hills Wedding
ReplyDeleteDumped Beverly Hills Wedding at the 1 1/2 hour mark. Why the need to introduce homosexuality into your movies is beyond me. The best thing is I have an off button!!!
Beverly Hills Wedding was horrible! A decades long Hallmark movie advocate, the role played by @brookedorsay was over the top controlling-every scene, over every point, making decisions that weren’t hers-The movie was so emotionally, screechingly annoying-I barely got through it
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I they only Valentine's Day Hallmark movies that I like are The Lost Valentine,My Secret Valentine and Very Very Valentine they other ones that I saw are not that great. I didn't like all the Valentine's Day movies in 2019,2020 and Beverly Hills Wedding.
ReplyDeleteI hope Hallmark will pick it up for Fall Harvest Movies
ReplyDeleteThe Thanksgiving-themed LEARNING TO LOVE AGAIN, starring Anna Pirvu and Kjartan Hewit, which aired last year in Canada as part of the W Channel's Fall Harvest, is newly available in the US and UK on the Roku Channel.
I will be sure to keep a look out for this movie. Thank you for sharing. It would be nice to see a Thanksgiving themed movie again - we've had too few of those over the years.
DeleteI don't know why but I think that most February movies on Hallmark Channel are terrible.
ReplyDeleteThe only February movies that I liked are My Secret Valentine and Very Very Valentine.
ReplyDeleteI forgot on of the February movies All of My Heart that I like.
ReplyDeleteWhat is sad is that Beverly Hills Wedding did so well in the ratings. So, I just anticipate more of the same in future movies. Yet, when movies like SSD do so well, they still aren't planning to make any of those movies. Makes no sense!
ReplyDeleteMisty
They've been saying for months that A new SSD movie has been written and all the originals are ready to film but the delay is caused by Covid. I don't understand that reasoning since so many movies and series are being filmed every day, in Canada and USA. ???????
