I hope you all have a very nice 4th of July weekend! Whether you are able to visit family and friends, enjoy some barbecue, a picnic, desserts and fireworks or simply take some time to relax, I pray we all remember the reason we celebrate this day… our Military and our Freedom! This year I believe having our freedoms and living in a land of democracy and security means even more.
When I hear our National Anthem play, I am filled with gratefulness as I think of all of the sacrifices made by our military and their families, so we can be free today.
To celebrate and honor America, I’ve gathered together some of the specials, festivities, movies, and more- that will be airing this weekend on TV. See them all below...

Where’s the rest of the movies have 4th of July theme?
ReplyDeleteWhen Sparks Fly
A Kiss at Pine Lake
Love & Sunshine
Not sure about "A Kiss at Pine Lake," but "When Sparks Fly" and "Love & Sunshine" aired previously this week. It's too bad both of these patriotic movies couldn't play during the actual holiday weekend.
DeleteGreat to see A Veteran's Christmas again, such a heart-warming movie and Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris really complement each other.
ReplyDeleteIt's not often that Hallmark catches me out - the ending took me by surprise, I can't believe I didn't see it coming!
But I'm even more excited to see that there are 3 new films scheduled for August!
Awww... I know just what you mean. I love every detail about "A Veteran's Christmas" and the easy, sweet, slow romance between Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris. It's such a favorite of mine too! I instantly fell in love with it!
DeleteAlso, YES, that's right... THREE New "Summer Nights" movies (so far!) are coming in August to the Hallmark Channel!
Romance in the Air - August 1, 2020
Love on Harbor Island - August 8, 2020
Wedding Every Weekend - August 15, 2020
Plus, there's another PixL movie Premiere on Hallmark...
Do I Say I Do? - August 24, 2020
By the way, I have these all listed in the NEW TV MOVIE LIST and MOVIE SCHEDULE!
Thank you for sharing your excitement!
Happy Christmas in July and 4th of July!!! Net πππ
I hope Hallmark will add at least Hallmark new movies this August for 2 more movies throughout September just before Fall Harvest movies
DeleteThank you so much for sharing the Lee Greenwood video. It's very powerful and brought tears to my eyes. God bless the USA, we need it more than ever right now!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so glad you enjoyed it! I felt the same way as I watched it. I thought it was beautiful and just had to share. You are so right, we do need it more than ever. It always brings tears to my eyes too!
DeleteThank you for sharing your love for our great country!
God bless You and we can never say it enough...

When a popstar ditches her overbearing manager, she becomes stranded in rural Pennsylvania, & is taken in by a family who owns a struggling daily farm
Becca Tobin, Kevin McGarry, Kendra Leigh Timmons. Paula Boudreau, David Keeley, James McGowan
Oh my goodness... I love that movie! I especially enjoy hearing Kevin McGarry sing! I hope we see more of that in another Hallmark movie, or maybe, "When Calls the Heart!"
DeleteThank you Net for all your hard work getting this info to us. Because of you, I have seen some good movies I might have missed. Your positivity is a true blessing to me! Happy Fourth!
ReplyDeleteHi kitkat! Glad you enjoyed this list of patriotic programs! It was a *blast" to put together! haha! get it?
DeleteThanks so much for your sweet comments! I feel the same way about your responses... uplifting my day!
Blessings to You! Hope you had a great 4th of July! :)
looking forward to the programming
ReplyDeleteLots of great ones this year, right??? I caught around 3 or 4 with my family (thanks to recording!) and each one was fantastic!!! :)
DeleteThis is a great compilation of American-themed shows, Net. I've been kind of sad because many of our nearby towns aren't putting on the traditional fireworks display we usually attend each year with friends and family. I don't know if it's the virus or fear of riots. But, we will still celebrate at home and watch fireworks on TV.
ReplyDeleteHello Anna! Glad to hear from you! I know this year was quite different for a lot of people.
DeleteOur local town was one of the few places for miles that put up a big fireworks display, so we were still able to enjoy it and some normalcy. That was nice, but my, it was a HOT one! Wow!
Glad there were lots of fireworks on TV for you to watch - hope you enjoyed them with your family!
God Bless the USA! We gotta pray everybody.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that! God Bless the USA, indeed!
DeleteI thought this new rendition of "God Bless the USA" with Lee Greenwood, Home Free and The United States Air States Air Force Band was truly inspiring and if gets people singing that beautiful song again, then maybe, hopefully, more people will feel that uplifting message in their hearts!
Happy Fourth of July! We can't take our freedoms for granted, not a single one. Have a safe holiday everyone.
ReplyDeleteKaren T., I agree 100%! This is a holiday that a lot people just see as simply fun and fireworks, but the true meaning is so deep. I'm with you, completely - we can never forget the sacrifices that were/are made so we can be free today and we must never take it for granted. We must always be thankful and thank God for our freedom!
DeleteBless you! Hope you also had a nice 4th of July!
Thank you for this guide, Net. Everything about this year has been different. I feel like we've been skipping over every holiday. You can't be with family or friends still and most of firework shows are cancelled. I guess I'll be watching my fireworks on TV this year. Rick
ReplyDeleteHi Rick! I know just what you mean about holidays this year... from Easter, Birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and now the 4th of July. Each Holiday has been different at our home, too.
DeleteI'm sorry your local fireworks were cancelled. That's no fun. I hope you did, at least, enjoy some of the fireworks on TV. They were certainly amazing over Mt. Rushmore, the U.S. Capitol, White House, etc...
Happy Birthday America
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July
Thank you for sharing that! We have so much to be thankful for in our great country!
DeleteHope you had a nice 4th of July! :)
Love our National Anthem, flag and this country. Hope it continues to fly over this land for a long time. :) Happy Independence day to you and yours! Hope you have a great celebration today.
ReplyDeleteHello Rissi! I wholeheartedly agree with you, girl! I am bursting in pride over my country and all who have fought and served (including my Daddy, Grandpa, Uncles, and Cousins!) to preserve it!
DeleteHappy Independence day to you, as well! I hope you had a bright and spectacular celebration! πππ
I’m in the same boat. No nearby fireworks for me either, however thanks to your great suggestions I was able to watch several fantastic displays on TV.
