With great sadness we say goodbye to this great actor who has passed away today, at the age of 52, after suffering a massive stroke last Wednesday.
Luke Perry is widely known from Fox's "Beverly Hills, 90210," where he first became a well known star. From there he played supporting roles in various TV shows, and later starred in western type movies, such as: "Johnson County War," and the Hallmark TV movies, "A Gunfighter's Pledge," three films in the "Goodnight for Justice" series and "Love in Paradise."
Luke produced and starred in the faith based movie, "Welcome Home," which premiered on UPtv, along with the television series, "Ties that Bind," where he portrayed a father who was imprisoned. Most recently, he was starring as a father in another teen drama series, "Riverdale."
Through the years and through many characters, Luke Perry has entertained us and like the title of his movie, he's been welcome in our homes.
My heart and prayers go out to his dear family, close friends, and devoted fans.
God bless you all, Net
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

Rip Luke Perry aka Dylan McKay
ReplyDeleteLuke Perry is way too young whose gone too soon
ReplyDeleteBeverly Hills 90210 will revival the show when the original gang return without him as Dylan McKay
He was a good actor and I enjoyed his work.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so sad.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad, I was a very big 90210 fan as well as Melrose Place. He will always be Brenda's Dylan to me.
ReplyDeleteI saw about the 90210 revival, but Luke was not going to be in it. And I am not sure how the show will be, but it says the gang is playing heightened versions of themselves? So not sure, if Jason Priesley will be Brandon or Jason. I don't really need to know about Jason, Tori, and Jennie, I want to know what Kelly, Donna, and Brandon have been up too lately :)
I prefer Brenda & Dylan rather than Kelly & Dylan
DeleteKelly could be with Brenda's Twin Brother; Brandon
Brenda & Dylan forever

Yes, that's right. Thank you for mentioning that. Luke Perry was also in the last (ninth) Jesse Stone film, which was made for Hallmark. The previous eight Jesse Stone films were made for CBS.
DeleteLuke Perry actually has 7 Hallmark films in his acting credit - with the mini-series Johnson County War, which aired on the Hallmark Channel in 2002.
