A few things have been switched on the Christmas in July Hallmark Movie schedule for Gold Crown Christmas Week and Christmas Keepsake Week!
UPDATE: The dates now for Gold Crown Christmas on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are June 29 - July 15th!
The dates now for Christmas Keepsake Week on the Hallmark Channel are July 13th - July 28th. That's quite a few days less than we had anticipated for the Hallmark Channel; however, there are still plenty of wonderful Christmas movies to see!
"Yule" want to check the revised schedule *here* with Christmas movies including: "A Joyous Christmas," "I'll be Home for Christmas," "The Christmas Train," "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" (which is airing on the Hallmark Channel - once again!), "Miss Christmas," "Switched for Christmas," "A Royal Christmas," "Christmas Next Door," and "Let it Snow" ....sooooo much more!!!
*Please note: The dates and times in the schedule are the ones Hallmark is currently reporting on their web-site- it is possible any time or title could change as we draw closer to July. Please stay tuned for any additional updates.
*In Christmas DVD Movie News... "Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle" and "Engaging Father Christmas" are being released on October 16, 2018! Plus, the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies- "A Dog Named Christmas" and "Christmas with Holly" are being re-released on DVD that same day, too! More details to come!

The website dates for Gold Crown Christmas week are now showing as June 29 - July 15 (which would make sense, as you have a couple of movies listed for July 9th on HMM, which would imply that the event is running beyond July 8th). http://www.hallmarkmoviesandmysteries.com/gold-crown-christmas-week
ReplyDeleteMaybe HMM will end the Christmas movies earlier in the day on 7/15, then show the SSD Christmas movie, then lead into the new SSD "To the Altar" non-Christmas movie?? I suppose it's a possibility.
Yes, the Christmas in July Hallmark schedule dates have changed - once again! I've lost count on how many times this is... 3, 4, 5 times, or More? It's been a LOT! ....Anyway, let's hope these dates stick!
DeleteI know many POstables would absolutely love to see "Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas" added to the Gold Crown Christmas movie list. Unfortunately, it's not currently scheduled, but you never know! Like you said, it's a wonderful possibility!!! :)
So they have extended the HMM channel Christmas in July, it looks like it is 2 weeks long, that is awesome, and it looks like they are playing movies all day and night yay!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, they have added more dates to the Gold Crown Christmas event on HMM! I love that they are airing them 24-7, too, Sabrina! That's the best! :)
DeleteAny chance HM Drama will be airing any Christmas movies in July?
ReplyDeleteExcellent question, Steve. There was some mention in the beginning that Hallmark Drama would also be gifting viewers with Christmas movies in July, along with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. It was supposed to be near the end of July; however, since that was originally mentioned I've heard no further word on it. Crickets.
DeleteThe last press release said Hallmark Movies Now (their streaming service) would be playing Christmas movies at the end of July.
I'm keeping a close eye on it, though, and if Christmas movies are added to Hallmark Drama- I will be sure to add them to the schedule - here.
Thank you, Steve, for your interest and sharing in the joy of Christmas!!! :)
I don't think viewers are going to be happy when they realize that, for the time being, The Christmas Card is not on the July schedule at all. Seeing that it is one of the most beloved and requested Christmas movies Hallmark has ever done, it is a curious choice to leave it off of the HMM line-up (of course, there is still time to add it in somewhere). I wonder if Hallmark is planning to move The Christmas Card to Hallmark Drama or to Hallmark Movies Now.
ReplyDeleteThere are actually so many strong movies and some true fan favorites that are missing from both channels so far. Some of the movies are only 2 or 3 years old.
You're right, Anonymous, it is always disappointing to see fan favorites not make the list. The Christmas Card is definitely one I was looking for and missing, along with others that are not currently listed, but could still be added in - The Nine Lives of Christmas, Window Wonderland, Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Matchmaker Santa, etc... Unfortunately, not everything can be played, but I am surprised to see them leave off a fan-favorite like The Christmas Card.
DeleteThe Christmas Card will be on July 8th at 1pm. ;) Hooray.
DeleteUnfortunately, "The Christmas Card" is not being shown this year during Christmas in July. I've checked all of Hallmark's schedules and "The Christmas Ornament" with Kellie Martin and Cameron Mathison is the movie showing at that time.
DeleteI do hope we see "The Christmas Card" during the Christmas season! It's one of my favorites too!
Blessings, Net
Miss seeing Season of Miracles. They never show it. Hope they play it and One Starry Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteIt's been shown every holiday season until 2017, when it moved to the Hallmark Movies Now streaming service. Prior to that, it had been shown on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel every year (since it was moved off of the regular Hallmark Channel, along with The Christmas Card and others).
DeleteIf you mean that they never show it on the original Hallmark Channel, that's not going to change any time soon. Hallmark made a conscious decision to maintain a lighter tone and focus more on romance on the Hallmark Channel, while keeping a more dramatic tone and the more -- for lack of a better word -- emotional movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (most, if not all, of the angel-themed movies are on HMM).
So if A Season for Miracles returns to any channel at all, it will be Hallmark Movies & Mysteries or the new Hallmark Drama. But right now, it seems to be exclusive to the Hallmark Movies Now streaming site.
So many to name and so many to see...It's the most wonderful time Christmas in JULY yule get cozy up in your PJ's sip on some apple cider and get the popcorn popping. The Christmas Train is leaving the station...All aboard!
ReplyDeleteLove your comment, G. Crawford! How fun! It's wonderful to have you aboard the It's a Wonderful Movie Christmas Train! I hope you've been enjoying the journey and continue to do so each day - until the 26th!
DeleteBlessings, Net
Please enough of the same christmas movies in July. It's 98 on the east coast and looking at snow is dumb. Why you make some beach mysteries.
ReplyDeleteAwe, really? We love Christmas in July here at It's a Wonderful Movie, but don't you worry... "Summer Nights" is coming to the Hallmark Channel with 5 New Movies - starting with Lacey Chabert in Love on Safari on July 28th!
DeleteIt's been pretty hot here in the Midwest too. It's finally cooled off a little bit, but the Christmas movies always give me "cool" thoughts!
Hope you enjoy all the Summer Nights movies coming up! :)
Blessings, Net
I really think they should Show "The Christmas Card. Bad move on Hallmark, not to show it!
ReplyDeleteMarilyn, I missed seeing The Christmas Card during Christmas in July too! Hope it returns this Christmas season and doesn't end up on their streaming service like other cherished favorites from the past!
DeleteThese Christmas movies that you play are tiresome. There is no realism to them and they are sappy, boring fantasies with no substance. Maybe if I lived in a bubble and I believed everyone was perfect physically, wealthy, and prince charmings were a dime a dozen could I relate to these cookie cutter fantasies. However since I live in reality I find them offensive. Christmas is already overly marketed and ruined with the focus on gifts rather then being with family and celebrating the religious aspects. To my horror, you are now forcing this in July as well! It's egregious. Are yall aware of all the complaints about this? People want to cancel their subscription and im with them. Why don't you just make a xmas hallmark channel and leave the others at their regular programming. Except for that vapid morning show that keeps changing the hosts suddenly. One woman was replaced because you wanted to target a younger audience!! Ha. I assure you that you would have been better staying with a more mature audience target. So, you can take that off too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you have not been enjoying the Christmas movies in July. I've been receiving mostly positive feedback, but I know this isn't for everybody. The Christmas season can be difficult enough, for some, in November and December, due to various different reasons. In my heart, I try to focus on the true JOY of Christmas every day of the year. Even if that is not exemplified in all the Hallmark movies, I still enjoy Christmas carols in the background that share the true story... like ... Joy to the World, The Lord has come, or Away in a Manger, Silent Night, Holy Night.... and on and on....
DeleteThank you for sharing your thoughts.
Blessings on your day, Net
I enjoyed watching the Christmas in July movies! Can't wait for October 26.... They are feel-good movies and comforting to know can watch anytime!! Thank you Hallmark!!
