I just received an email from one of my followers here, Jennifer B., and she has informed me that she received an e-mail, regarding PixL leaving YouTube, with this information:
Hello Jennifer,
Your YouTube subscription to PixL has been canceled.
On Dec 5, 2017, all paid channel subscriptions from YouTube creators are ending. You will no longer be charged for your channel subscription to PixL, and your access will expire on Dec 24, 2017.
What these means for the future of PixL is anyone's guess. I do know many PixL movies are available through some cable providers, such as DISH, and I keep hoping (along with other subscribers) PixL will be picked up by more cable providers, such as DirecTV!
I got a similar email as well. For some reason mine says that access will end on Dec. 22. I've sent PIXL a question about future viewing options, so if they respond, I will definitely let you know. I don't want to move to Dish, so YouTube was a great option for me. I was already planning on getting the Hallmark streaming service after the Christmas season, so this will only be more encouragement for me to do so.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it ends according to payment date , they probably won't end access until one month from the date of your past billing? Mine said the 24th.
DeleteThanks for the update. Sad to read.

I also received similar email. Was wondering what this means for them in the future. Thanks you for staying on top of this subject! Hope you can find out some more info as I could not.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do we can always count on you to keep us informed on everything movie!
They still have both a tv channel and an Amazon channel
DeleteI think the TV channel is only available through Dish; but I am interested in seeing how many of their movies are available through the Amazon channel.
ReplyDeleteThe subscription to PIXL is now offered on Amazon Prime for $1.99 a month
