ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you, Linda! Time is flying! But, I do love Summer and Christmas in July, too!
DeleteThank you for all your kind words on the site! You know it's my joy to share, but I always love your enthusiasm & support!!!
Net,
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your family. Thank you for all your time and energy. I know I'm not the only one who is thankful and grateful. Have a wonderful day and a blessed summer.
Oh, thank you, Karen! It's so thoughtful of you to comment and say that. It means so much to me! I do put great effort and time into making this site fun, organized and user friendly, and I'm glad you enjoy your visits here!
DeleteBlessings to you & your family, as well!!!
Don't forget, everyone, to periodically check Net's Christmas Movie News 2016 page too, as it is always updated when details come in or become more clear.
ReplyDeleteFor example, at one point we thought that Daniel Lissing's Christmas movie would be separate from "December Bride" -- that they would be 2 different movies. So they were listed individually on the Christmas Movie News 2016 blog. As it became clear that Daniel's movie and "December Bride" were one and the same, they were consolidated into one spot on the list. The same thing happened with Tricia Helfer's movie and "Operation Christmas," which turned out to be the same film. They were consolidated into one listing.
Quite a few Christmas movies have already been filmed this year (and maybe even late last year), but there are still many questions as to where some of them will end up. Some of the movies are already confirmed Hallmark projects, and some are set for Lifetime and UP, but there is still quite a bit of uncertainty about others.
Likewise, too, in some cases the full casts are known. In other cases, maybe only one of the lead actors is known and the other one is a mystery.
More Christmas films have yet to be shot in the next few months -- some of which are already on Net's list and some of which will be surprises that we learn about along the way. By September, while there may still be a few Christmas movies left to be filmed, they start tapering off quite a bit at that point.
Also in September, "Home & Family" should probably do another one of those "big announcements" about the Countdown to Christmas, with the full line-up of new Christmas movie titles for the season. So even if some of the Hallmark movies are still being filmed in September and beyond, at least we should have ALL of the titles by that time.
Hopefully in July we will get some brief previews or clips of what is to come in Nov-Dec, as we did last year.
Thank you for sharing that info, Sherry! Here's the link, if anyone wants to catch a sneak peak into the upcoming Christmas movie season...

Also... Yes, I'm hopeful, too, as I mentioned above- we will receive some July sneak peaks into Hallmark's 2016 Countdown to Christmas, as we did last year. Although, we mustn't forget some titles sometimes get changed between July and November/December!
Just letting you know that "Good Witch" has been renewed for Season 3.

Yes, it is. I know those who watch this series are very happy about this news.
DeleteThanks for posting the list! Just a little surprised they aren't playing "The most wonderful time of the year". -Uncle Ralph
ReplyDeleteMe, too... Uncle Ralph! Guess they are saving 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' for the true most wonderful time of the year! Let's hope they bring it back then!
DeleteI know it's a sentimental favorite for many, including myself, and our movie friend Jim, who has shared his liking of the film on here.
Perhaps, they know by saving it, we will all most assuredly tune in at Christmas!!!
Thank you for all you do, Net! I love your page and look for news every day.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you, Susan, for being a daily visitor! You certainly put a smile on my face. I'm so honored and appreciative of your support for 'It's a Wonderful Movie"!
DeleteThank you! Thank you! :) :) You have blessed me Susan, with your thoughtful comment!
