Oh, joy!! Another packed weekend of new movies!! Can't wait for "Wedding Bells" tonight...such a cute couple!!
ReplyDeleteVery much looking forward to watching some of these June Weddings flicks. I'm especially curious about Ms. Matched and Denise Hunter's. The former because I saw Alexa on Dancing with the Stars (and watched her movies through the years) and the latter because I enjoy Denise's books. :)
ReplyDeleteCall me crazy, but I had a hard time seeing Danica and Kavan matched together. They were both great, but just not great together. I kept expecting Rosemary to appear and take him away. Same with Danica, where was Paul Greene or the prince, what's his name? Kidding, of course. But hopefully you get my point.
ReplyDeleteLiked Wedding Bells last night and I'll be watching the new one tonight. But, the one with Rachel Boston looks like the best one to me.
ReplyDeleteI liked Danica better in Perfect Match with Paul Greene.
ReplyDeleteAs a Heartie, I must say it was great to see Lee on my TV last night, but I sure did miss Rosemary the entire time! :(
ReplyDeleteThank you for this reminder, Net. If not for you I would have completely forgotten about the Friday night movie. I've seen the commercial many times and still I would have missed it without your helpful weekly reminders.
ReplyDeleteI did notice on my guide that Wedding Bells is replaying today at 5pm in case someone did miss it last night.
Why did Hallmark air Wedding Bells on Friday night?
ReplyDeleteOriginally, 'Ms. Matched' was scheduled to premiere at the end of May on the Hallmark Channel, however since it has a wedding theme, Hallmark decided, either early or mid-May to move it to June. For some reason, considering star power and maybe how much is spent on production, they chose 'Wedding Bells' to be the first of the June Wedding movies - placing it on Friday night.
DeleteWhether or not, that was a good choice, I'm sure it is yet to be determined.
Hopeless Romantic sounds fun. I'll watch it on PixL's Youtube Channel
ReplyDeleteI was actually not that big of a fan of Danica's movie with Paul Greene, "Perfect Match," although I like Danica and Paul in other movies, paired up with other people.
ReplyDeleteSo, to that end, I liked the Danica-Kavan pairing much more that the Danica-Paul pairing from last year. Because I don't watch "When Calls the Heart," I mainly just know Kavan from his Hallmark movie roles. He was particularly good with Kellie Martin in "Hello, It's Me."
I didn't know how successful the Danica-Kavan duo would be for me, and I'm not sure I would have thought to put them together, but I felt that it ultimately worked. I think they were good together. It was an enjoyable movie.
Ms. Matched: Worst. Ending. Ever.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Don't want to spoil it for any one who hasn't watched, yet... but, didn't love this one.
DeleteI agree with you, Sherry! Only for a moment did I feel he was cheating on Rosemary, LOL!!, but the chemistry was good between them and I really enjoyed this movie!!
ReplyDeleteJust watched Ms. Matched on my DVR. It's cute, but very predictable.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Wedding Bells! It's my fav movie this year. Ms. Matched was good. I thought the lead actress is what sold it. Looking forward to next week's 'Stop The Wedding'.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Garage Mystery, but the subplot w/ her husband/son wasn't good.
Misty
I personally found the father/son subplot in the new “Garage Sale Mystery” movie to be really funny! I felt it added humor to a storyline that would have been darker without it. What I didn’t like about the movie was the hologram of the villain, as I felt the element didn’t seem to fit that particular movie or story.
