Ooooh, I can't wait for this one!!! I LOVE both lead actors and the storyline is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful...but sad too....
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful...but sad too....
ReplyDeleteI agree... does sound rather sound. I am also wondering how Christmas will be involved in the storyline, too.
DeleteI must admit, when I first saw previews for 'Christmas in Conway', I was somewhat reluctant to watch it. The storyline, which deals with hospice care during the holiday season, struck a little too close to home, due to the death of a family member last year just days before Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHowever, my love for 'Hallmark Hall of Fame' encouraged me to at least try watching it. And I must say, I'm very glad I did. Though there is a pervading, inherent sense of sadness in the film, it is not overwhelmingly depressing.
At the core, 'Christmas in Conway' is a story about love, forgiveness and redemption. Additionally, as unexpected supply of humor was provided by former SNL funny lady, Cheri Oteri. Futher to that point, the entire cast is stellar, including talents such as: Mary Louise Parker, Andy Garcia, Mandy Moore and Riley Smith.
For adults, due to the serious subject matter, I highly recommend this holiday film.
Could someone please tell me if they see the date then movie. Christmas in Conway is coming on for the Holidays please! Wonderful movie
ReplyDeleteAndy Garcia (a noted tough guy) played the role of his life in this film. I loved his scene when he helped his wife drink her nutrition shake by recalling their days at the "Shake Shack".
ReplyDeleteAlso...Mandy Moore was so cute!
