PLOT:

Storyline via UP: Risen follows the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman Military Tribune, and his aide Lucius, are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.

PLOT:

The UP Premiere Movie "Noah's Ark," written by Tony Jordan (Hustle, The Nativity), is a retelling of the biblical story of Noah and The Ark. Noah, a farmer and family man, is instructed by an angel to build an ark in the middle of a desert in order to save both his family and the faithful from a devastating flood. A seemingly impossible task, especially when his sons refuse to believe him and help, Noah risks ridicule and humiliation from the degenerate townsfolk as well as his loving but exasperated family, in his quest to carry out his God-given task. Co-produced with the BBC, "Noah's Ark" is a timeless tale; a story of family and faith; about one man's belief and fixation with building the ark which will ultimately save his family and mankind. It is an obsession which leads to the fragmentation of his family, a test of their faith in their father and their father’s faith in God and everything he believes in.

PLOT:

via NBC: From executive producers Roma Downey ("The Bible") and Mark Burnett ("The Bible," "The Voice") comes an uplifting spiritual journey through the later chapters of biblical history. "A.D. The Bible Continues" picks up where the smash hit miniseries "The Bible" left off, continuing the greatest story ever told and exploring the exciting and inspiring events that followed the Crucifixion of Christ.

The immediate aftermath of Christ's death had a massive impact on his disciples, his mother, Mary, and key political and religious leaders of the era, completely altering the entire world in an instant. Beginning at that fateful moment of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, "A.D. The Bible Continues" will focus on the disciples who had to go forward and spread the teachings of Christ to a world dominated by political unrest, and the start of a whole new religion that would dramatically reshape the history of the world.

Jesus (Juan Pablo Di Pace) dies on the cross at the hands of the Romans, deserted by even his most loyal followers. Peter (Adam Levy) and the disciples are hunted by Temple authorities led by High Priest Caiaphas (Richard Coyle) and Roman soldiers under orders from Governor Pontius Pilate (Vincent Regan). For the tiny band of followers, every day is a fight for survival, and their mission to spread the word to the world seems impossible.

Yet, they have hope and soon they have power: the amazing miracle of the Resurrection and the shocking arrival of the Holy Spirit upon them all at Pentecost enables them to inspire more and more people to join. The growing church brings challenges for Peter, John (Babou Alieu Ceesay) and Mary Magdalene (Chipo Chung), who are pushed to the limit; they face trials and imprisonments, persecutions and punishments while trying to understand the God-given power granted to them as they transition from the sorrow of Christ's ultimate sacrifice to the awe-inspiring wonder of the Resurrection and beyond.

GMC has "A Walton Easter" and is premiering a New Movie: "The Carpenter's Miracle" All Weekend Long! On Saturday and Sunday Night - you can see this New Original Movie starring Cameron Mathison, at 7 PM, 9 PM, and 11 PM est!

The History Channel will be airing the final movie in "The Bible" Mini-series on Easter, Sunday Night. (This Special is TV-14 and not appropriate for children :: due to violence)

NRB is playing the sweet animation "Easter Is", which tells the true story of Easter to children.

UPDATE: The John Schneider movie, Lukewarm, is no longer scheduled to air Sunday Morning on GMC. Stay tuned and I will let you know if there is a future premiere date for this movie.

This is the all new Western Family Movie starring Ricky Schroder, along with his wife, Andrea, and their four children: Holden, Luke, Cambrie, and Faith.

Also that night, ABC Family will have the basic Cable Premiere of the zany comedy, “You Again”.



Premiering on Sunday, March 10, 2013 ::

The children’s special “Barbie in the Pink Shoes” airs on Nickelodeon. This sweet little ballet movie will surely have your little girl wearing her tutu and walking on her tippy-toes!


Then, that evening :

See the continuation of "The Bible Miniseries" on the History Channel. Don't miss it! 12 Million People saw Part 1, when it premiered last Sunday.

with two hours airing each Sunday night, beginning on March 3, 2013.

*Please Note "Rating": Some scenes may not be appropriate for children — the Movie Creators have stated: We would advise leaders and parents to treat this production like a PG-13 movie. The Bible Miniseries realistically depicts scenes from the Bible including battles, massacres and the crucifixion.

A Personal Note: I have not viewed this movie, but I have seen some clips and the behind the scenes making... and I am looking forward to seeing it for the first time, along with many of you. As a Christian, it is my hope that the depiction of these beloved bibical characters will be true...

and have a grand impact on all who see this series.

*Please Note: The Bible is an epic five-week, 10 hour television miniseries created and produced by husband and wife team, Roma Downey (Touched By an Angel) and Mark Burnett (The Voice, Survivor, Shark Tank, Celebrity Apprentice). Beginning on March 3, 2013, for two hours each Sunday night, viewers will see some of the best-known stories from the Bible, from Noah's Ark and the Exodus to Jesus’ birth & the disciples.
