Beginning this Friday, February 24th, 2023, Karen Kingsbury's new series, "A Thousand Tomorrows," will start streaming weekly on Pureflix. Episodes 1 and 2 of this brand-new series, based on Karen Kingsbury's novel, will stream exclusively on Pure Flix, with new episodes premiering every Friday. After viewing the trailer (which I included below), I would say it resembles a Christian version of Heartland, Yellowstone, or even Hallmark Channel's upcoming series, Ride.

I'm hoping to have the chance to watch the first two episodes of this series this weekend on Pureflix. If I do, I will be sure to share my take, and if any of you have the chance to watch it, or if you've read this series of books from Karen Kingsbury, I would love to know your thoughts on it, as well. Back in 2015, I had the wonderful opportunity to interview Karen Kingsbury for her new movie, at the time, The Bridge. You may also recall Karen's other Hallmark movies based on her books, Maggie's Christmas Miracle and A Time to Dance. I'm delighted to see this new series for Karen on Pureflix since their service is geared towards creating Christian content for family viewing. My family and I have certainly enjoyed watching all sorts of faith-filled and wholesome movies and shows via Pureflix's streaming service.

UPDATE - MY REVIEW OF "A Thousand Tomorrows" :
I finally had the chance to stream A Thousand Tomorrows. Well, I was hoping this series might be the Christian, family-friendly alternative to (Hallmark Channel's) Ride, since both are essentially TV series about bull riding, country life, horses, romance, etc... Well, I can understand needing to show character development and change from being a sinner to finding redemption, but 10-15 minutes into the first episode, we see the main lead character, Cody Gunner, in a bar drinking with his friends after a competition. As Cody pays his bill for the drinks, a random woman is sitting next to him at the bar and at first Cody doesn't seem interested, but then she asks if he wants to "talk," and he says something like sure and they leave together. None of the intimacy part is shown, but the next morning we can clearly see they've had a one night stand. I was floored, as this was definitely not something I was expecting to see just minutes into a series on Pureflix. After seeing this and the way the other bull riders constantly talked about women in a lustful sort of way, the rest of the series is a pass for me.
