The NEW CHRISTMAS MOVIES are coming in less than two weeks, not this weekend, but THE NEXT!!! Ahhhhh!!!!
To get us all ready and in the Christmas spirit, I thought I'd share some Christmas movie promos for Great American Family, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and UPtv!
In a comment here on my blog, I was just chatting with Jim (who is a dear friend and follower here) about how hearing Great American Family's Christmas movie commercial, which features Bing Crosby singing, "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas," gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME I hear it. And while new holiday songs or jingles in the Christmas promos are fun, too, there's nothing quite like the nostalgia of classic Christmas songs like this one! Unfortunately, GAF didn't upload their promo to YouTube with this song, but the music box version of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" is still lovely. See below. Net, thank you for sharing the Bing Crosby video. I searched like crazy last year looking for GAF's online video of that, but they never uploaded it anywhere, so this is very nice to have. This video is an all year pick me up video but especially at this time of the year.

ReplyDeleteThe last 15 seconds or so of the Hallmark Mystery previews has a hauntingly angelic sound to it. I'm not sure if it scares me or if I like it though lol. I know...I'm weird ha-ha.

ReplyDeleteJust to make everyone aware, Amazon is having Prime Deal Days now, and a whole lot of Hallmark dvd movie collections are discounted.
ReplyDeleteIT states that this is the first time that Kristopher Pulaha and Lacey Chabert are together--that is wrong as they were in the first of the Haul out the Holly movies. He played the husband of her friend.

ReplyDeleteChris, I believe there will be many Christmas movies on Great American Family with faith in their stories, including A Christmas Less Traveled and I Heard the Bells.
