πŸŽ‡ HAPPY 4th of JULY!!! πŸŽ‡

May this 4th of July be a spectacular celebration of freedom and patriotism on America's Independence Day, our nation's birthday!

I pray we never forget the actions and sacrifices our Founding Fathers and heroic soldiers made on our behalf - for the physical and spiritual freedoms we enjoy today.

To celebrate and honor America, I’ve gathered together some of the patriotic TV specials that will be airing on this day. See the programs listed below...

The Waltons
Patriotic Marathon
on Hallmark Drama

Unfortunately, the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will not be airing any of their great patriotic movies on the 4th of July, which I think is such a shame on this important, momentous holiday. The network has so many wonderful inspirational military movies that could've been shown, such as USS Christmas, A Veteran's Christmas, Holiday for Heroes, Love and Sunshine, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Truth Be Told and The Impossible Dream, and many others.

I cannot imagine why Hallmark's programming department did not choose to show any of these patriotic movies on this special holiday - when we honor America. It's almost like not showing any Christmas movies on Christmas day, which would be, in my opinion, very strange.

I am glad, however, to see Hallmark Drama will still honor our country with this full-day marathon of The Waltons military-themed episodes.

I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July...

As we enjoy all of the parades, fireworks, good foods, and festivities, let us pause and give thanks to God above for all that we enjoy on this important holiday. As our political leaders seek to divide God from any place in government, let us remember how the men who signed the Declaration of Independence leaned on our Creator for their spiritual guidance in those uncertain times. I pray The Lord continues to have mercy on our land and that the people of our nation turn their hearts back to God again.

May the light of God's love
and freedom shine upon you!

πŸŽ‡ HAPPY 4th of JULY! πŸŽ‡

God Bless You All, Net

SHINING HIS LIGHT:

and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom."

  1. Happy 4th of July to this incredible site!!

I'm gonna try to watch a movie I've got stored on my DVR later.

Can't say I'm really surprised to only see Hallmark Drama being the only part of Hallmark showing patriotic movies.

    Have an amazing day everyone!
