My thoughts on...
TV this Weekend:
I'm excited about another GAC Family movie marathon on Saturday, and I'm looking forward to hearing Rosemary's news in the all new "When Calls the Heart." I sure it ends up being what I'm *expecting* it to be! (Get the pun?)
Speaking of expecting mothers, actress Jen Lilley is about to give birth to a precious little baby girl any day now. What a perfect time to re-watch her movie, Royally Wrapped For Christmas, on GAC Family - this Mother's Day weekend. It's a good reminder that we should honor our mothers, wrap them up a heartfelt gift, and treat them like royalty!
As for new movies this weekend... As I mentioned above, I had the opportunity to pre-screen the UPtv movie, Yellowstone Romance, and you can see my full review - *here*.
Mother's Day:
In honor of this Mother's Day Weekend, I want to say, once again, how thankful I am to have such an incredible, beautiful Momma, who is always so loving and caring. I am truly blessed by her unfailing love and devotion to our family. Her walk with the Lord is my greatest inspiration; I'm truly grateful for her amazing love everyday!
I'll also be fondly remembering on Mother's Day both of my grandmothers; I will forever cherish the memories and special times we shared together.
I pray all of you Momma's and Grandmother's out there have a very Happy Mother's Day! I'll certainly be enjoying this special day with my family, and I hope many of you are able to do the same.
Happy Mothers Day weekend to everyone here! Thanks Net for this update. I'm loving all the great options this weekend, but I'm especially looking forward to WCTH and the GAC marathon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to your mom, Net, and to all of the mothers out there. I lost my mother many years ago, and I miss her terribly. So many things I didn't take the time to ask her or talk to her about, because, well, I guess I was too young then to think about or care about those things. I now have so many questions which I will never know the answers to. So, please, for those of you who have your mother around, take the time to find out all you can about her and her life. And of course, let her know how much you love her!
ReplyDeleteOh, Mark 25... what beautiful, heartfelt advice! Thank you for sharing with us. I feel the same way now about my grandmothers. If only we could go back in time for just a little while, right?
DeleteI will be sure to keep your advice in mind and treasure each moment. God bless you, my friend! I pray you'll be cherishing your sweet memories.
Mark 25, I lost my mother much too young too. Something unusual took her life; she died 2 days after becoming ill. Life has never been the same for me and my siblings. Today is also my mom's birthday. She gave the best hugs! If you are blessed to have your mom, I agree with Mark 25. Tell her as often as you can how much you love her.
DeleteToday is almost over, but I wish all the mothers here a blessed Mother's Day! Hope it has been a peaceful one.
Oh, kitkat... bless your heart to lose your mother so young. How special that your dear mom's birthday landed this year on Mother's day. I'm glad you have sweet memories to cherish of her. That is such a precious remembrance about her sweet hugs.
DeleteGod bless you, honey...
Much love to you, my dear friend! :)
Provided there are no unpleasant surprises in the content the two new Rom.Coms this weekend - Warming UpTo You and Yellowstone Romance both look great.
ReplyDeleteWe're certainly getting our fair share of Christopher Russell this weather - but who's complaining?!
Im afraid it's the original Waltons' cast or nothing for me - Florence
Florence, I was able to watch a screener of "Yellowstone Romance," and you may want to check out my review for it here:

Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteAww, happy Mom's day to you too, Net! I'm also very blessed to still have my mama. :)
ReplyDeleteAs adorable as Warming Up to You looks, I'm gonna wait until someone reviews it, tired of seeing unexpected gay couples with no warning. -Maria
Maria, I understand just how you feel. Just One Kiss was quite disappointing, along with others, recently. Hope this one ends up being a good one!
DeleteAnd... blessings to you on this Mother's Day weekend - and your sweet mama! :)
Wow! What a perfect time for them to announce Rosemary’s pregnancy. She would be a beautiful mother and she and Lee have wanted children for so long now. Can’t wait to see the happy scene when she tells him. Ahh, I know I’ll cry.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother’s Day and God bless!❤️
After that promo, all WCTH fans will be devastated if Rosemary's not pregnant. Wonder if they knew this episode would fall on Mother's Day?
DeleteAllie B, "When Calls the Heart" was actually supposed to begin in February, but was delayed due to the Winter Olympics. So... no, they had no idea this episode would fall on Mother's Day. I personally believe it was meant to be!
DeleteAbigail, Same here! I'm sure we'll both be crying tears of joy!
DeleteHave a blessed Mother's Day weekend with your family!!! :)
Happy Mother's Day
ReplyDeleteThanks for your review of Yellowstone Romance Net. I'm going to record it and watch it later this week without the kids.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great idea! Let me know what you think of it, after you get a chance to watch. :)
DeleteHappy Mother’s Day to everyone! I hope the Lord blesses all of you mothers with a beautiful, wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteNet, this is very off-topic but I’m not sure where to place this comment. Do you have a certain page where I can find reviews of some of the mystery series, in particular the last Aurora Teagarden movie and the Murder She Baked series? The last Aurora movie looked a little spooky for me lol but I wanted to see other’s thoughts on it.
Thank you!
Rebecca
Rebecca, thank you for your sweet comment!
Delete(By the way, I had a little trouble trying to respond under my account today on my iPhone - so my profile (no picture) looks a little different.)
Anyway, yes, I can help you with your question! If you go to my TV Movies Post, you will see a long list of movies that premiered this year. To see reviews for any of those movies, just click on any title.
For “Aurora Teagarden,” scroll down to the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries section, and you’ll find it there! You’ll also find
“Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” (AKA: Murder She Baked) further down under the 2021 Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films.

God’s blessings to you!!!
Thank you, Net! That’s exactly what I was looking for!

Rebecca, That's great! Happy to help! :)
DeleteHappy Mother's Day!

I loved, loved, loved this last episode. The hug scene of Elizabeth and Rosemary was my favorite. You can really see how much they love and care for each other, like true sisters.
ReplyDeleteRosemary and Lee will finally have their baby. Looking forward to seeing the joy on Lee's face. I'm guessing it will be a girl since they already have a little boy on the show.
When Fiona ate Nathan's gooey cake, I laughed so hard!
Abigail, Me too! All of it was wonderful! I must say, so far, this was my favorite WCTH episode. What a joy it was to see Rosemary receive this long-awaited news. I'm afraid the way it's going - everyone is going to know before Lee! But I was glad Elizabeth figured it out, instead of Rosemary actually telling her. (By the way, I'm guessing a girl, too!)
DeleteThe scene with Rosemary and Joseph was so touching. I loved the way he spoke about the way God answers our prayers.
And, poor Bill... looks like he's still feeling poorly. That was interesting that Faith called Carson. I hope there's still some connection there that's unresolved.
Also, I was loving the scene with Fiona and Nathan, too! Those two truly have chemistry on screen! (And off, too, of course!) As sweet as Mei Sou is, I just don't feel her connection with Nathan at all. It seems too quick and forced to me. Anyway, I loved that Nathan took the cake back from Fiona at the end of the scene. Wonder if that was all planned or they added that themselves???
I loved that episode as well! -Maria
DeleteI was thinking the same Net, about Nathan and Mei. As much as I like her character, I don’t truly see her with Nathan(Yet, maybe they may surprise us one day) I wonder if she was there for Nathan to open his heart to a relationship after Elizabeth. Carson went through the same temporary thing with Rosemary’s architect friend. Nathan did tell Faith he wasn’t ready yet. Was it just me or was he not missing her that much. I thought he got over her pretty fast.
DeleteI have always loved Fiona and think she would be great for Nathan and make him laugh.
Wonder what is the deal with the business guy who is interested in her.. great that she trusted Nathan for advice. Oh, I would LOVE to see them as a couple. I’ll keep hoping. And I liked the part when he takes back the cake as well!
Haha, well hopefully the whole town won’t find out the baby news. As long as Florence and Molly don’t find out! ;)
Rewatched 'An Autumn Romance' tonight, such a charming movie. :) I also noticed that GAC Family was promoting Catering Christmas a few times as well. Very good! -Maria
ReplyDeleteYes, lovely movie - if only Hallmark could produce far more like this now
DeleteMaria, I love "An Autumn Romance," too! I actually watched some of it during Saturday's movie marathon. Hope we see more movies like it in the future on GAC Family! Would love to see Chad Michael Murray sign with GAC like Jessica Lowndes.
DeletePlus, I caught the "Catering Christmas" preview, as well. Looks so good! As soon as I saw it, I thought, I must share that! Merritt and Daniel are so cute together in the promo, I have a feeling this is going to be good one! :)
Blessings on your day!!!
Is Rosemary pregnant or not? Why make fans wonder.
ReplyDeleteWarming Up to You is a light-hearted and fun family-friendly comedy/romance. Christopher Russell and Cindy Busby have been in many movies together and have good chemistry. I enjoyed watching this movie with my 13-year old daughter.
