I hope you all have a nice weekend. May you enjoy many wonderful movies and make special moments and memories. As we watch the news out of Ukraine, it makes me feel even more grateful for the simple things in life. I know we are all still praying hard for peace there.

Be sure to set your clocks ahead for *Daylight saving time* early Sunday morning at 2am (EST)! I do love springing ahead... so we get an extra hour of daylight in the evening. It truly feels like Spring is around the corner now.

As for the movies, I'm looking forward to seeing the incredible transformation of all the beautiful butterflies in Hallmark's movie, "Feeling Butterflies"; I think it will also be fun to see Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry in a movie together, since they are a real-life couple. Are you watching anything special this weekend?

Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies, etc... listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

Blessings on your weekend! Net

SHINING HIS LIGHT:

4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.

5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.

6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.

7 They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.

8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.

  1. This looks like being a good weekend to catch up on some 2021 Christmas movies.

Two movies about single fathers and the reviews for A Honeymoon To Remeber on IMDb are horrendous - Florence

  2. I hope Feeling Butterflies and The Presence of Love are clean. I've been looking forward to them. Love the preview of Kevin and Kayla, when he spreads dirt on his face.😂😂😂

  3. I’m gonna watch both movies called; “Feeling Butterflies” & “The Presence of Love”

The Presence of Love takes a place in Ireland

    1. I thought The Presence of Love was set in Ireland, too, in the beginning, but I looked it up and it was actually filmed in Cornwall, England.

    2. Ooh, I've always wanted to go to Cornwall. I've read a lot of books that took place there, and seen other films there. It's so beautiful, with the coves and misty green cliffs over the ocean. Now I really want to watch it!

  6. I’m excited to see this one! I’ve never really cared for Kevin on WCTH or Heartland but I usually enjoy his Hallmark films.

  8. Feeling Butterflies looks super cute. I can't understand for the life of me why Hallmark didn't include this movie with the Spring block. It's more spring than most of the other movies included, except maybe, A Tail of Love.

    1. Allie B, I've been saying the same thing! It makes no sense to me, either. I mean, they start Christmas movies in October, so why can't the Spring movies begin a few weeks earlier, especially since we are *Springing* ahead with the clock this weekend. I personally think this weekend would have been the most ideal time to start that programming block.

  9. I would love to watch Feeling Butterflies because I like Kevin so much, but I will wait for the reviews on here to make sure there are no surprises.

    1. Same here, except I want to watch it for Kayla. It's a shame that we can no longer trust Hallmark to refrain from participating in cultural and moral rot.

  12. Feeling Butterflies 🦋 is family friendly & cute movie. Garrett lost his Wife named Sarah & he has a Daughter named Ashley. Ashley named butterfly 🦋 Sarah whose she named its after Ashley's Mother; Sarah. Ashley’s Mother; Sarah loved butterflies 🦋. Emily owns butterfly business: Feeling Butterflies co.. Emily & the others bring its for special events like Birthday, Wedding, Retirement, etc.. There’s only 1500 butterflies 🦋 & expect for Ashley’s butterfly 🦋 named Sarah & she lets it go. The viewers learn about caterpillars 🐛 & butterflies 🦋 🦋 There’s 1501 butterflies 🦋 🦋 I couldn’t stop laughing that Garrett put dirt on his face because Emily told him about his hair. 13. I like the longer days after the time change but it’s hard for me to get adjusted to the hour difference in the beginning. If only we could do it gradually.

    1. Yeeessss!!! I would prefer doing it gradually, too, if it was possible!

    2. Sorry Net, but I can not adjust to Daylight Savings Time. My body refuses to budge. I heard a doctor say on the WC that our bodies can not change with the time because we are made to follow the light; wake when the sun comes up. I won't get enough rest until we go back to EST. My husband tells me it is all in my head. My answer is probably.

    3. kitkat, Oh, I understand that, too. The time change affects us all differently. I like the later daylight hour, but it does make the mornings harder to adjust to. Many people have problems with it, so you are definitely not alone.

    1. Yes, I was happy to hear this news for Brennan; he is such a great, well-liked actor. Seems like news like this is coming out every other day now.

Hope this means we'll be able to see more "Crossword Mysteries," since he and Lacey Chabert have exclusive deals with Hallmark now. 🔎

  20. The Presence of Love...

Wow! Let me first say, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful Hallmark movie. The grassy cliffs, the sheep, the beautiful Border Collie, the stone house (inside and out). The little girl was precious. I cried when Daniel's mother hugged Joss. And it was 200% clean. And all outfits modest, I really appreciated that.

The thing that made me sad, was Joss character. All those times she was struggling, oh if only she had Jesus. Be anxious for nothing.
