EPISODE 1 - A Kiss is Still a Kiss:
As the O’Brien family welcomes Bree home from London they ruminate on how the past two months have changed them all. Kevin and Sarah try for a baby, Jess and David plan for their wedding, and Abby thinks back to her conversation with Trace after their kiss on the beach.
EPISODE 2 - Nice Work If You Can Get It:
Abby looks to the past and how it will drastically change her future, romantically and otherwise. Mick and Abby deal with the damage to the reputation of O’Brien Construction, Jess struggles with something David’s parents gave her, and Bree realizes two different men from her past may be returning to her life…and her heart.
EPISODE 3 - Are the Stars Out Tonight?:
O’Brien Construction’s eccentric billionaire client, Evan Kincaid, comes to town and throws Abby and Mick off their game. At a moment of triumph, Connor discovers his law firm is hiding information from him, and Megan discovers a lost painting that leads her to a famous, reclusive local artist who wants nothing to do with her.
EPISODE 4 - Happy Trails:
Jess and David host visitors in town for the traditional Snallygaster hunt. Meanwhile, Mick and Thomas revisit a weekend-long hiking trip from their youth.
EPISODE 5 - They Can't Take That Away From Me:
As work continues on his hotel, Evan and Abby learn a bit more about each other, and Evan stays a night at Jess’s B&B.
EPISODE 6 - Love is Here to Stay:
Jess and David's wedding is here, but the O'Brien family still has a lot to face before the celebration. Abby and Evan get into an argument over his hotel, threatening the entire project.
EPISODE 7 - What's New?:
When Evan comes to the house, he throws out his back and must recover for a few days on the O'Brien couch, connecting him with the family in a way Abby never anticipated.
EPISODE 8 - Where or When?:
Kevin and Sarah try to keep a secret while Bree discovers one from Luke's past. Evan whisks Abby away on a business trip, but his intentions are not what she originally thinks.
EPISODE 9 - What a Difference a Day Makes:
The O’Brien family learns that Mick made a distress call before his plane went missing and must come together while they wait for news on his whereabouts. Evan starts to bond with one the O’Briens, but his attempts at generosity backfire. After Luke finds himself in a bad position with his parole officer, Bree (Ullerup) enlists Connor’s legal help. Feeling the strain of running his own business, Connor searches for a new assistant and gets some unexpected support. Kevin helps Sarah with her new cravings as they try to figure out the right timing to finally share their news with the family. David receives a disturbing warning from his father. Recent events have Megan thinking about the future as the day of the art show she put together arrives.
EPISODE 10 - That Old Feeling:
Evan makes a meaningful gesture to ask Abby out on a date. As Abby considers Evan’s question, Jay also opens up about his feelings. Mick and Megan announce plans to take some time off to travel the world together, but do not get the reaction they were expecting from the family. Complicating matters, Megan receives a tempting career opportunity that would take her to California. Jess faces the consequences of an emotional email she sent in the middle of the night, while David discovers what his father’s frantically out-of-character phone call to him really meant. As Kevin struggles with how to help Sarah, he opens up to his parents against her wishes. Worried about Connor’s health as he prepares his case to clear Luke, Margaret tries an unconventional approach to get him to relax… s’mores.
Please Note: I have watched every episode (except the finale!), and I have enjoyed each one.

Will this Series of Chesapeake Shores that is coming up in August until October be the last time we will see Jesse Metcalf?
ReplyDeleteChris, I sure hope not. I believe more Martha's Vineyard are planned, but I haven't heard anything official from Hallmark, yet.
DeleteI mean just in Chesapeake Shores.
DeleteHard to say, Chris. I hope not, but who knows???
DeleteOh my goodness - my heart rate just doubled when I saw Stephen Huszar's name listed at the top of the article!
ReplyDeleteWith the apparent discontinuation of The Ruby Herring Mysteries and nothing from him to date this year I was eagerly awaiting to see if he would star in any Christmas movies which might have been a pointer to whether something had happened between him and Hallmark.
However there's no mention of him in the article neither is there a phograph - what's the position, Net?
I don't watch Chesapeake Shores but if he is becoming a cast regular I will have to start!
What will be very interesting is to see how the series will do without Jesse Metcalfe.
Yes, Stephen Huszar will have a role in this upcoming season. I don't know how big it will be, but here is a little detail on his character from Hallmark's press release...
Delete"Kevin (Brendan Penny) runs into Luke (Stephen Huszar, “Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas”), an old high school friend facing hard times."

There's also a press shot of him with Emilie Ullerup that looks cute. See here:

I'm also curious about the show without Jesse Metcalfe. Based on the poster, it looks like Robert Buckley's role is going to be rather big.

Anonymous, if Stephen Huszar is on Chesapeake Shores, I will be watching too. It might be for one episode only. He and Emilie Ullerup would be a good match, but still hoping for Ruby Herring Mysteries to return. Loved Stephen Huszar and Taylor Cole together. I did buy the Ruby Herring Mysteries series DVD.
DeleteI've also seen it suggested that the filming for this may have actually taken place in 2020.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this info, Net. Is Jesse Metcalfe going be be appearing at all in this upcoming season? I was under the impression he would be in a few episodes, which I hope. Strange not to see Greyston Holt mentioned, as it looked like there was a promising romance between his character and Abby. Thanks, Net!
ReplyDeleteSavvy Girl, Yes! Jesse Metcalfe will be in the first two episodes of Chesapeake Shores, at least. I've seen him in press shots for both episodes. After that, it appears Robert Buckley joins the show in episode 3.
DeleteI've also seen some press shots of Greyston Holt, but Robert Buckley definitely seems to be the focus for Abby (Meghan Ory). I wonder if they are afraid after "When Calls the Heart" to tease any sort of love triangle.
Thank you for commenting, it's always nice to hear from you! :)
Looking forward to this season.
ReplyDeleteGreyston Holt is on CS& he reprises his role in CS
ReplyDeleteI watched the third episode of Chesapeake Shores Sunday night. It was sad to see The Bridge without Trace there. The new guy Robert Buckley is playing - Evan Kincaid - I gotta say, even though I liked Robert in "Love in Store," this character is rather obnoxious, so far. Maybe that will change, but the rich billionaire type who has anything he wants and gives away a hover board just because he's bored with it, was rather annoying.
ReplyDeleteIn contrast, I love Stephen Huszar's character, Luke, who is the complete opposite. He's homeless, living in his truck, and he's had some trouble with the law, which wasn't really his fault. I love that Mick is giving him a chance at working at The Bridge. There was no connection with Luke and Bree this week, but I'm hoping those two get together... eventually.
There was some wedding planning also taking place, but neither Jess or David were in this episode.
I enjoyed seeing the father-daughter working and non-working relationship building between Abby and her father. The best moment was when they sang the Irish lullaby in episode 2 while swinging on the porch swing! I absolutely loved that, and I hope we see more sweet family moments like that one.
