This weekend I'm really looking forward to seeing "A Timeless Christmas!" I have always been fond of period dramas, like Jane Austen movies or Little Women and Little Men, so this movie looks quite fascinating to me. It has a familiar storyline to Candace Cameron Bure's "Journey Back to Christmas," where she, too, travels from the past and into the future unexpectedly. We'll have to see if Ryan Paevey's character returns to the past or stays in the future with Erin Cahill!
Which *NEW* Christmas movie are you looking forward to watching this weekend? Be sure to share in comments below!
Also, please know - I have NOT pre-screened these NEW Christmas movies listed above. If you happen to watch one of the new Christmas movies over the weekend and want to share whether or not it is a family friendly movie, please stop back by and leave a comment. I know everyone here would be grateful to know any information you are willing to share.
Timeless Christmas is the one I'm most looking forward to as well. Although Christmas in Vienna will be beautiful to see and Mistletoe Magic looks cute with Stephen Huszar and Jessica Sipos.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, Those are my top three picks for the weekend, too! Great minds think alike!
DeleteI'm so looking forward to the music, as well, in Christmas in Vienna - plus, I've always found Brennan Elliott and Sarah Drew to be fun in all of their previous movies.
And... "Mistletoe Magic," I agree... looks super cute and lighthearted, which is always a nice treat.
Happy Christmas Movie Watching this Weekend! :)
Looking forward to the same three movies.
Delete~~Jane
Spirit of Christmas
ReplyDeleteDescriptionA young lawyer (Jen Lilley) finds romance with a spirit (Thomas Beaudoin) that takes the form of a human 12 days before Christmas.
He returns in the past when ne’s back in the present to be with her
Yes, that's another movie where a character appears in the future from the past. It's always interesting to see how a person from years ago responds to modern life and technology.
DeleteI hope you enjoy "A Timeless Christmas!"
Alicia Wright isn’t her name but it’s actually Dr. Zoey Gardener (Holly Robinson Peete); if you see her name is Zoey on her doctor coat in The Christmas Doctor
ReplyDeleteThank you! I revised the information above - they must've changed it since they first released the story-line details in the original press release. "The Christmas Doctor" looks like a wonderful, inspiring patriotic movie!
DeleteI found out Dr. Zoey’s last name is Garner on her Army Uniform & Doctor Coat
DeleteHolly Robinson Peete shares a sneak peak at THE CHRISTMAS DOCTOR, & her character Dr. Zoey Garner.
Hey after watching all the above movies I think the Christmas doctor has been the best new movie.it has a great storyline, the characters are all wonderful, and the actors have real chemistry.i will definitely save it to watch over again.
DeleteI wonder why Beau comes into Joan’a life in Meet Me at Christmas π
ReplyDeleteJoan is the Mother of her Son
Beau is an Uncle of the Bride
Her Son & his Niece are getting married on Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve Wedding
This one sounds like a sweet story, too! Enjoy! :)
DeleteHanna returns home from the past with her military Husband
ReplyDeleteCharles Whitely is gonna go back home in 1903 or stay with Megan in 2020
Looking forward to Starlight Christmas
ReplyDeleteErin Cahill interviewed with H&F alongside with Ryan Paevey
ReplyDeleteShe said he stays with her in the present
If Charles will return home into past wheee he belong in 1903! or he gonna stay with Megan
If Ryan Paevey portrayed dual roles as Charles Whitely in 1903 or his other character in 2020 with Megan; he related to Charles Whitely; his Great Great Great Grandpa
I was really looking forward to this moivie to see how it would pan out but disappointed that Ms Cahill should have given away the ending - this has somewhat spoiled it for me.
DeleteAlways look forward to seeing Stephen Huszar - hoping there will be future Ruby Herring Mysteries.
Anonymous, I agree! Stephen Huszar is great in Ruby Herring Mysteries. Watched Mistletoe Magic and loved this movie. It was Stephen at his best.
DeleteCurious for the 'new hallmark original' listing of Timeless Christmas with ryan & erin. i have seen this before and know where he ends up. it is a delightful movie!!!
ReplyDeleteNet, Tell Hallmark to fix plot line from Dr. Zoey Garner on reminder App
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Dr. Zoey’s last name is Garner, Gardener, or Gardner
Military Doctor’s Army uniform in “The Christmas Doctor”
Only romance time travel movie I liked is Time After Time and of course, Back To The Future. I liked how Time After Time ended. Oh, and the Jen Lilley one was good too. The
ReplyDeleteChristmas Doctor seems very good and emotional from the commercial.
Misty
Net, Tell Hallmark we need English Subtitles for Germany & Spanish Language

Those ladies speak Spanish in Jingle Bell Bride
Christmas In Vienna
DeleteWhat did Germany lady spoke German to Mark & Sarah; what did she said in Christmas in Vienna?
What Jessica & her Sister spoke Spanish; what did they said in Jingle Bell Bride
We need English Subtitles in German & Spanish language in Hallmark Movies & even Christmas movies
so many wonderful movies

FWIW: Timeless Christmas was filmed in August 2020, so it hasn't aired before. It is based on a Hallmark Publishing book from 2018.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Christmas in Vienna.
ReplyDeleteI've been in Vienna 3 times during christmas and its beautiful an magical❤️
Hope the movie represents all that.
Holly Robinson Peete shared from set of Hallmark's THE CHRISTMAS DOCTOR
ReplyDelete"More than halfway through this Christmas movie and I’m already feeling like it’s going to be a really special one. The story is really powerful with a twist that makes me cry."
Somewhere in Time
ReplyDeleteIn 1972, playwright Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) becomes fascinated by a photo of Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour), a turn-of-the-century stage actress, while staying at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan. As Richard's obsession grows, he learns from a friend that time travel may actually be possible through hypnosis. Richard travels in time to meet Elise, and the two appear destined to be together. However, Elise's jealous manager (Christopher Plummer) attempts to keep them apart.
Richard lives in the present in his bedroom with time travel device but he stays with Elise in 1972
Kate & Leopold
ReplyDeleteKate McKay (Meg Ryan) is a modern day executive, a 21st century woman driven to succeed in the corporate world. Leopold (Hugh Jackman), the third Duke of Albany, is a charming gent and bachelor of the late 18OOs. With career and social expectations looming, each has grown cynical about the very notion of falling in love. But when a rip in the fabric of time thrusts Leopold into present day New York, the potential for an old-fashioned modern romance ignites.
Kate lives with her Brother & Stuart lives above Kate’s apt with his dog
How Kate lives in the past laid in the present when Stuart took the pictures so, Charlie shows them to Stuart?
Kate is in 1800s to be with Leopold
I wonder if Kate lives with Brother: Charlie when she’s with Leopold
Kate McKay is with Leopold when other Kate McKay with her Brother; Charlie in NYC
FYI...I thought Christmas with the Darlings was a really cute movie EXCEPT for the gay part. There was no need for it. The best friend is gay and likes a woman who works at the coffee shop. It comes up again later in the show they are going on a date.
ReplyDeleteIt’s actually Dr. Zoey Garner protrayed by Holly Robinson Peete
DeleteSkipped it completely.
DeleteAnd because of that I didn't watch, also the new one this weekend the Christmas house I won't watch either.hallmark is smart about not advertising in commercials the gay stuff.i found out by reading comment by those guys that have a show on internet.sorry can't recall their names.
DeleteMeet Me at Christmas
ReplyDeleteThe chemistry in the flashback and present-day scenes are simply wonderful.
Oh my goodness. The twist about how Joan’s love story with her late husband ties into her sweet almost-romance with Beau 28 years ago is heartbreaking. I legit cried. Of course, like Joan points out, things happened as they should have. But still, these missed opportunities always break my heart.
While the misunderstand seems mildly realistic, I put most of the fault on Joan. Why wouldn’t she just ask Beau if he indeed accepted an assignment in Alaska? Though as I write this, I realize it was self-sabotage. If she pushes Beau away, she will never have to tell her son, Liam, the truth about the night she met his dad. When Joan finally admits the truth to her mom and Liam overhears, I teared up again.
Oh my gosh, and Beau’s brother wedding toast at the end essentially explaining why Beau didn’t show up to the tree lighting 28 years ago made me actually cry again.
I realize now that this review is more of an account of when and how many times I cried watching this movie! Although you may easily guess part of the twist, this is the one time I don’t want to spoil any part of the story.
I have now cried three times while watching Meet Me at Christmas
Viennese waltz in Christmas in Vienna
ReplyDeleteChristmas in Vienna
ReplyDeleteWhy did they call it sockn as Christmas Stocking?
Hallmark definitely have this advertised as an original.
ReplyDeleteHallmark had a movie several years ago starring Linda Hamilton about a Christmas Eve during WWII. American & German soldiers find shelter in a woman’s home on Christmas Eve and put aside their differences for one night. Anyone remember the name of it?
ReplyDeleteI've got it on DVD...I'll have to look for it because I can't recall the title...but it was a fantastic movie & a true story.
The movie is Silent Night
I remember "Silent Night." It was such a powerful story about two sides coming together during the Holidays. They weren't exactly enemies... they were just young men who needed shelter at Christmastime. Beautiful movie.
DeleteSilent Night is available on Hallmark App
DeleteI wonder if A Nashville Christmas Carol has Ghosts of Ghosts of Christmas Eve by TSO
ReplyDeleteGhost of Christmas Past
Ghost of Christmas
Ghost of Christmas Future (Yet to Come)
Just before Christmas
The Christmas Doctor will make you cry π
ReplyDeleteGrab your tissue
I didn't care for A Timeless Christmas. I just didn't buy it. Candance's was better to me. I really enjoyed The Christmas Doctor. It was very well done and funny too! Only storyline I didn't care for was Luke's daughter. Otherwise, I highly recommend watching it.
ReplyDeleteMisty
Haven't seen A Timeless Christmas yet bit it's getting excellent reviews.
ReplyDeleteAlthough there's still 6 weeks to go for me there has a been a huge increase in the quality of Hallmark's Christmas movies this year - I don't think there's even one we haven't really liked.
probably the weakest to date is Cranberry Christmas - maybe expected too much of it.
Next year's awards are going to be interesting especially in the male actor category.
We watched On The 12th Date Of Christmas at the weekend and it was a real cracker although the ending as so happens with Hallmark wqas too rushed.
Tyler Hines could eventually end up as Hallmark's leading man with Paul Greene seemingly taking a back seat.

I liked the movie as well. I thought the dress Joan wore for the wedding was gorgeous! I did find it a little slow at times, and the secondary characters just didn't shine enough for me to buy this movie.
DeleteMisty
I think that you should grab a tissue if you watch Home for Christmas Day,A Godwink Christmas Meant for Love, Holly and Ivy and Christmas Everlasting because you will probably cry watching those movies.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas Doctor
ReplyDeleteZoey is a traveling doctor who prefers short assignments to stay put, so when she is assigned to a small town clinic for the holidays, she is surprised when she starts to feel at home.
Thoughts
Dr. Zoey is a busy doctor who focuses on work rather than family or decorating her house. (She uses post it’s as decoration and eat Thai out of the carton. Is she me?) Dr. Zoey is assigned to a small town. When she gets there, people seem more interested in Meatloaf Monday than the new doctor. The town is so small they don’t even have an MRI machine.
Dr. Zoey rents a room, and it is owned by the same man she saw at the doctor’s office. His name is Luke, and he is hot, even with a daughter in college! Dr. Zoey plays it cool and even makes fun of Luke for constantly hitting his head on things. Dr. Zoey is instantly beneficial for the town and starts helping people in the town. The town also uses alteration with its restaurant menu. Meatloaf Monday, Tamale Tuesday, Waffle Wednesday, the possibilities are endless.
Lily, Luke’s Daughter, is back in town. She is already playing matchmaker with her Father and Dr. Zoey. Little do they know that Dr. Zoey has a past and worked as a medical doctor. We see through a flashback that she helped a young man in the army in Afganistan. She recalls playing chess with him, and it seems to be a painful memory for Dr. Zoey. She is running from the pain that she feels from losing the soldier.
Luke and Dr. Zoey bond over being divorced, and then they talk about their past. They play with lightsabers (don’t ask) and then have a pasta dinner with wine! Then they go for a walk and almost-kiss under the mistletoe but get interrupted with a call about a baby being born.
The two continue to go about their lives to avoid their romantic chemistry. Luke and Lily talk about her future while Dr. Zoey continues to have PTSD flashbacks. They come back together for Souffle Sunday date and decorate a Christmas tree together. They even catch themself under the mistletoe again but are interrupted by a Santa with a Rash. They rebound and kiss.
It is Dr. Zoey’s last in the town, and she witnesses Dr. Ray to win an award in the town. He is on the mend and thanks to her for all the help she has given to the town. They play a slide show of Dr. Ray and his family. His son was the soldier that Dr. Zoey tried to save in Afganistan. Zoey misses that slide because some kid gives her a candy cane.
Dr. Zoey hosts Christmas dinner for Gabby, Luke, Dr. Ray, and his wife. With a surprise guest, her sister Debra and her husband, Tai. Debra blows Dr. Zoey’s cover and knows everything about Luke and Lily already. (Haha!) Dr. Ray asks Dr. Zoey to become a partner at his practice. Dr. Zoey declines because she already has another job lined up in Philly. She says goodbye to Dr. Luke, and they try to act like it isn’t a big deal that she is leaving.
On her way out of town on Christmas Day, Dr. Zoey is stopped by Dr. Ray. He shares with her that he brought her to his town to thank her for providing his Son with such wonderful care. It is a very emotional scene.
Flash forward to New Year’s Eve; Dr. Zoey is finished with her job in Philly and has a night planned with Lasana. (Which sounds good to me.) She changes her mind and drives up to see Luke. They watch meteors together, and tells him that she wants to move in with him and make a home. They kiss on his doorstep.
‘A Timeless Christmas’
ReplyDeletePaevey stars as Charles Whitley in the new Hallmark Christmas movie. He time travels from 1903 to 2020. When he arrives in the future, he is still at his home, The Whitley Estate. However, it is no longer a home, but a historical building. He meets history major and tour guide, Megan Turner (Erin Cahill).
Our favorites so far have been One Royal Holiday, On the Twelfth Date of Christmas, Christmas Bow, Christmas Ring, Christmas Doctor and Deliver by Christmas. Hoping they come out on dvd. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Christmas in Vienna,The Christmas Doctor, Christmas Tree Lane to come out on DVD.
DeleteA Project Christmas Wish
ReplyDeleteA kindly neighbor used to making other people's dreams come true gets the tables cheerfully turned on her as her Christmas wishes start coming true. Is one of those wishes to fall in love?
Love, Lights, Hanukkah!
ReplyDeleteA restaurant owner who discovers her Jewish heritage, along with a new family and handsome love interest in the process.
Unlocking Christmas
ReplyDeleteA couple who find a key and a riddle on their doorstep.
Christmas carousel
ReplyDeleteA woman is hired by the monarchy of Marcadia to fix their carousel by Christmas. This kingdom sounds great; I want to live in a place where the most pressing concern this winter is an amusement park ride not working.
Swept Up By Christmas
ReplyDeleteAnyways, Lindy Booth and Justin Bruening play an antiques dealer and a cleaner dueling over how to handle their latest assignment, only to find a whole bunch of history – and heart-swooning – amongst the mess
A Glenbrooke Christmas
ReplyDeleteA very relatable heiress runs off from her busy life of ... being an heiress by running off at Christmas to a small town where she meets a hunky fireman – as if there's any other kind of fireman in a Hallmark movie.
Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas
ReplyDeleteLacey Chabert as she and four other strangers end up at Huszar's inn for the holidays, mysteriously invited by somebody trying to reveal their lie to one another.
Christmas She Wrote
ReplyDeleteDanica McKellar plays a romance columnist who gets fired right before Christmas. She should pivot to bed-and-breakfast criticism! But instead, she heads back home to recuperate with her family ... only for Neal to show up and try to win her back to the publisher.
A Little Christmas Charm
ReplyDeleteA jewelry designer teams up with a investigative reporter to return a lost bracelet to its owner by the holiday. Because this is the most important thing a reporter could be investigating. Step aside, Woodward and Bernstein.
If I Only Had Christmas
ReplyDeleteA cheery publicist teams up with a grumpy businessman to help a charity. I bet five bucks their plan involves a Christmas party/fundraiser with a brilliantly generic theme like "the Christmas spirit" or "snow."
5 Star Christmas
ReplyDeleteThe travel and bed-and-breakfast critic job market is THRIVING! And apparently it's so influential that people will seek you out to give their parents' new cozy resting spot a five-star review on your blog or magazine – and fall in love with you along the way, which feels like an ethical question mark. Sounds more like sponsored content to me. Anyways, very excited about Hallmark's first foray into ethics in hard-hitting B&B journalism
Godwink Christmas: First Love, Second Chance
ReplyDeleteWhat is a godwink, I hear you ask through your computer? Why, it's just an adorable word for a coincidence. Say, for instance, if you wound up stuck in traffic right next to your old high school sweetheart on Christmas ... which sounds terrible, because I would NOT be in my best form if I was stuck going nowhere on the freeway on a holiday. I imagine D'Orsay and Page do better.
The Angel Tree
ReplyDeleteJill Wagner plays a writer on the trail of the mysterious human saint who's attempting to find the person behind gifting wishes from an "angel tree." She also runs into an old friend. I wonder if these two storylines will weave together in some romantic and sweet way ...
A Nashville Christmas Carol
ReplyDeleteA television producer burning the candle at both ends on a holiday country music special is visited by three ghosts from the past, present and future that show her the error of her ways in this Southern fried take on the Christmas classic. And somewhere, Charles Dickens is very confused and wondering what the heck is a television – or a RaeLynn.
I love watching Christmas movie: A Christmas Kiss on IUPTV
ReplyDeleteI don’t like Christmas movie: A Christmas Kiss II because it’s so gross people out
Do you think that A Godwink Christmas Second Chance First Love will be worse than A Godwink Christmas Meant for Love and A Godwink Christmas?
ReplyDeleteBased on the promo I saw for this movie, "A Godwink Christmas: Second Chance, First Love," I'm expecting it to be just as good as the others. ( And... (*whispering*) maybe even cuter! :) )
DeleteHere is a hard one for you, What Hallmark movies that Catherine Bell plays a widowed person all of them that you can think of?
DeleteChris, Two movies instantly come to mind - "A Summer to Remember" and "Home for Christmas Day." I know there are others, too. Do you know them?
DeleteStill hoping for some more Christmas dvd releases. I'd like to see Return to Christmas Creek, Twelfth Day of Christmas(just watched it again last night on our dvr and still love it, one of our favorites), Thanksgiving House(I know, not Christmas. Love it anyway), Love Always, Santa, Finding Christmas, Christmas Land, Mingle All the Way, Farewell Mr. Kringle(still hoping), and Christmas Cottage. Hope you are listening Santa. Just ordered Catch a Christmas Star and Mistletoe Promise. Excited to get them and make space on our dvr.
ReplyDeleteYes, we definitely need more DVD releases! Love all the ones you mentioned, too. Last night I watched "Mingle All the Way," and I can't believe it hasn't been released yet, and where is Brant Daugherty, by the way? He was great! We definitely need to see more of him on Hallmark!
DeleteStill hoping for more DVD releases along with you!!! :)
