It's official! Chesapeake Shores to film Season 5!

I just heard this news today... from @Chesapeake_TV (a Twitter Fan Account for the Hallmark Channel series Chesapeake Shores).

The source for this announcement is an article - here, revealing the show does, indeed, have the greenlight for "Chesapeake Shores" season five.

According to the article, Vancouver Island North Film Commission’s Joan Miller got a phone call from the CS production manager, who shared the renewal news.

The question now is... what does the future hold for the O’Brien family and the Chesapeake Shores community - portrayed by the all star cast: Meghan Ory, Jesse Metcalfe, Treat Williams, Barbara Niven, Diane Ladd, Laci Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, Andrew Francis, and Jessica Sipos!

We'll have to stay tuned to find out!

In the meantime, here are my favorite "Chesapeake Shores" pictures from previous seasons...

I'm looking forward to the family gathering again
for a whole new season!

Hope you enjoyed this news...
Blessings on your day! Net

As we await season 5, here are the DVDs available from previous seasons of "Chesapeake Shores..."

    1. Hello Barbara, Glad to hear you love this news too! I sure hope everyone from the main cast is able to return for a full season. Since there were only 6 episodes last year, I wonder if they are planning the same number of episodes this time around. Many of the cast members are busy with other projects, so I'm sure it isn't easy working out everyone's schedule.

  3. Hi net, I have been wondering if there is any news regarding the fifth season. Given the sensitive time, I don’t expect to see it anytime soon on tv however I was wondering if you know if season 5 is still a Yes! God bless you and your family.

    1. That is an excellent question. I'm sure Hallmark is still in the midst of working things out - figuring out where they can film first and then seeing who is willing to go back to filming.

Since "Chesapeake Shores" is such a large cast I'm not sure it would be their first focus. Plus, many of these actors are involved in other projects and many of them do Christmas movies each year for the network. As we know, Hallmark has stated their main filming mission will be Christmas now. So... where does this leave "Chesapeake Shores?" For now, we don't know. Hopefully, more will be revealed soon.

The CS season was reduced by episodes last year, so maybe they will think of doing the same thing this time around or... they may delay it for production until next year.

    2. Thank you so much. Let’s hope we can have a nice season when they are ready to film. I would like to see a nice ending If they are not going to go farther with the story.
