Movie Review:
Enchanting. Charming. Magical. Quirky. Delightful.
If you like holiday stories that step outside reality, then you'll enjoy this fun, whimsical movie!
When two sisters, Lacy and Eve Bell, awaken in the fictional Christmas movie world of Holiday Falls... right in the middle of a Christmas movie!, everything seems perfect, at first, like their idealic favorite Christmas! However, even in this dream-like place, there are issues to deal with and obstacles to overcome.
Eve is put in charge of the Christmas festival, which is not an easy task when she's paired up with nice guy, Dustin, as she's also seeing/dating Russell, her celebrity crush from her favorite Christmas movie. Can she choose between the two before Dustin's ex-girlfriend ruins everything, including the festival?
In the meantime, Lacy is finding it difficult, as usual, to open up her heart to a sweet guy, Paul, who she's instantly attracted to. Paul sends Lacy lots of homemade drawn cards expressing his interest in her. Lacy, at first, says they are stalker-like and creepy, but she eventually begins to warms up to his charm. Will she continue to make the same relationship mistakes of the past, by running away before they get too serious, or will she let herself fall for Paul completely?
The setting of this movie, in the fictional land of Holiday Falls, is perfectly ideal for a Christmas dream village. The story is silly and delightfully corny, but while they are having fun with the typical, usual Christmas movie story concept, each sister awakens to the idea of a whole new reality!
See or Skip:
See! If you love Christmas movies, "A Christmas Movie Christmas" is a magical trip to Holiday Falls that will leave you laughing out loud, a warm feeling in your heart, and a smile on your face!
Appropriate for family viewing and all ages.

Sounds like in addition to ALL of the new Hallmark Christmas romances, we'll have plenty of other options between UPTV and of course, Lifetime, too! No way I'll see them all, but they'll be lots to choose from! :)
ReplyDeleteDelighted to see Brant Daugherty again.
ReplyDeleteI had been hoping he would appear in a Hallmark Christmas movie this year.
Mingle All The Way in which he starred with Jen Lilley was my favourite Christmas movie of 2018 - the plot was unique and they both looked as if they were really enjoying themselves.
I’m I’m hoping Brant Daugherty in Alice in Christmasland for Christmas Hallmark movie
DeleteI thoroughly enjoyed that movie as well. In fact, I saw it about 3 times on my DVR. It is just a fun movie. I look forward to seeing this one as it looks good. I have seen a few Up and Lifetime Christmas movies....they are good, but of course Hallmark is seriously the best.
