  1. I'm going to miss Martin. Is her new neighbor a possible love interest?

  2. I hope this isn't the last Aurora Teagarden movie. There's only one more book and a short story left in the series that have yet to be adapted so we'll see what they do.

  3. SO SO going to miss Martin. I do hope Yannick can return because these two together are such fun. :)

(Dear Hallmark, please let this happen! ;D)

  4. There is a short story after All The Little Liars?

  5. This movie that is premiering in July is the one that was originally titled All the Little Liars. So whatever has been published after that book would probably have to be the source material for another movie.

Either that, or brand new stories (not based on specific books) would have to be written specifically for the Aurora Teagarden movies.

I remember Candace saying (around the time when she was explaining that Yannick chose to leave) that there would be two more movies filmed, and then after that she hoped to continue with more Aurora movies. Since the two movies she was referring to have been filmed, now it is probably up to all the parties involved as to whether or not to continue, and for how much longer.

  6. I kind of liked Robin and I thought he'd be back especially since Martin left. I never read the books so I have no idea if she ended up with anyone. Either way, I enjoy the movies.

  7. Did I somehow miss Aurora having a sibling? Otherwise how can she have a nephew? Also, I wish Robin would come back, I liked him with Aurora.

    1. Excellent question! Perhaps, this is something those who have read the book would know more about. I, too, don't recall Aurora having a sibling in the movies. Very interesting.

As for Robin... I always liked him, too! He always seemed to be in tune with Aurora and her love of mystery books and crime solving!

    2. She has a sibling Phillip in the books, its her dads son with new wife. He is actually in the Real Murders book as a young boy, I think it is Real Murders, he and aurora get kidnapped in the basement of the neighbor, I forgot his name, and Roe protects Phillip. After that I don't think Phillips mom wants him to spend more time with Roe cause of the kidnapping. But Phillip turns up when Roe is pregnant, he is a teenager, I think he shows up at the end of Poppy Done to Death to live with Roe and Robin, but this movie is from All The Little Liars, and Phillip is a main character. There is one more book after this, called Sleeps Like a Baby.

    3. And the last movie was Poppy Done to Death, and Poppy was John Queensland's daughter in law. Not Roe's childhood friend.

  8. In the books Roe marries Martin but MArtin dies, and then she marries Robin.

    1. I wish they would have followed the books more, with Martin dying and Roe marrying Robin.

  9. Roe does marry Robin after Martin dies in the book series. But I really liked Yannick Bissom in the movies. I hope he can come back.

  10. I really liked Roe and Martin together, they had real chemistry. They were good at solving the puzzles and mysteries together.

  11. Phillip Pifler is Aurora's Cousin & Aida's Nephew

  12. Aurora's Cousin & Aida's Nephew named Phillip Pifer

Aida has a Sister named Mary

    Dies Aurora has siblings?

  13. I fear Martin has disappeared forever and Roe is ready to move on.

  14. I realize Phillip Pifer is Aurora's Cousin & Aida's Nephew.

    Aida's Sister; Mary

I wonder why the storyline was saying Phillip is Aurora's Nephew but he's her cousin if she has siblings but in the movie, Phillip is Aida's Nephew & Aurora's Cousin. Aida is Phillip's Aunt & Aurora is Phillip's Cousin. Aida has a Sister named Mary. Mary is Aurora's Aunt, Mary is Aida's Sister, & Mary is Phillip's Mother.

They mixed up the storyline on TV Guide: Aurora investigates an murder when she discovers her Nephew; Phillip & his college roommate gone missing after the roomate's girlfriend found dead but it's her Cousin; Phillip.

  15. TOO BAD there can't be some sort of closure to the Martin/Aurora romance. Like maybe he's on a secret CIA mission and had to break up with Roe to keep her safe, and then he returns as she's moving on with Nick.

    1. Rocco, that's an awesome idea! I love it! But, let's also put Robin in there, too! I've always loved the idea of Robin and Roe together... the Librarian and the Writer! :)

    2. Well, in the books she's married to Robin, so that's also a possibility. :)

    3. Apparently so did Charlaine Harris, because she killed off Martin in the books and now Roe is married to Robin! Movies never exactly follow the books.

  16. What happened to Martin? They were engaged and so in love. They just have one scene where Sally asks Roe if she's ready to move on. I really like Nick, but (typical of Hallmark lately) there was no leading up to and no closure.

    1. Debbie, Excellent question about Martin...

At the end of the Aurora movie "Last Scene Alive," Martin leaves to go on a mission in South America to search for his missing friend and his family.

Then, in the Aurora movie "Reap What You Sew," Aurora shares with her mother that she misses Martin, she says she can't believe he went back to the CIA, but she knows he wants to serve his country. Their story has been left as that, Martin is gone, and Aurora has been letting him go... piece by piece, in her heart. Unfortunately, they were never actually engaged, but they had spoken about their future together and the possibility of children.

It is rather sad that Martin will no longer be on the show, but with the way they wrote out his character, it seems there's a possibility he might show up once again - someday! Let's hope! :)

  17. It would have made more sense for him to have gone missing in SouthAmerica, but then they couldn't have written in Nick as a possible love interest. I still like the idea of him having been on a secret mission and had to break up w/her to keep her safe.
